But no the reason that story bothered me so much, isn't the violence. It's how eager a lot of the readers were about it. It's like one thing to want to stop the bad guys and be proud of it, it's a whole other thing to openly talk about how excited you are to see them get tortured. And the thing for me is that I have some pretty conservative family members.

I have one that was there on January 6 and another that believes that the democrats have secret rituals that harvest infants. And their family. That's not all who they are. They also like to cook, hug people, have whole other lives outside of the few weird conspiracies they like and the idea that there's a chunk of people that do genuinely want to hurt them and can't differentiate from a story scares me.

And with my sister, she killed herself. And I fucking hate saying that outloud. It's like my tongue just gets stuck on the roof of my mouth. What's weird though is that I'm only a little sad like I'm not crying or anything, but what's really killing me is that it's like I can't breathe. My chest is pounding and my tongue feels super dry, I just can't calm down. My heart won't stop racing.

I understand loving your family and seeing the good in them everyday. Other people have friends and family be thet gay or autistic or immigrant or whatever LGBTQ who will be damaged by conservative dumbfuckery and everyone is tired of it.

Your love for your family is sweet. It won't change the tide of hate brought by years of being shown they are either incapable of not eating republican shit even when it hurts them or their just malicious shits to people they don't like.

Biden won the election in 2020. He probably shouldn't have. People were talking about his age and his health issues, comparing videos of him and how much more aware and articulate he was from literally only a couple years ago all the way back then. But he won, and then those health issues started to get worse.

And instead of being open about that and working on getting a proper campaign and candidate for that eventuality, people lied and ignored it. JFK if he could rise from the dead, probably couldn't have won the election if he was put in Kamala's shoes. Record high inflation, civil unrest, multiple ongoing war's, that disastrous debate, then the way Biden was fighting stepping down the entire time.

Trump is a senile idiot. He's everything Biden had for problems multiplied. And a terrible person to boot. Biden won because it was him or Trump and I wanted some peace and quiet and not more chaos.

Literally anyone put into that position and then having to reconcile the pretty bumpy Biden years to keep his donors and base happy, while trying to be different enough to appeal to the younger progressives who felt pretty betrayed after everything. Nobody could work with that shitshow, let alone Kamala who was already a very weak, indecisive and overly corporate candidate to begin with.

And what I'm trying to get at, is that Trump won because Biden sucked. lol. Biden's big thing is that he promised a return to the peace and no controversy from the Obama years and he didn't deliver that. Most people voted for Trump to punish Biden and the Democrats for what they saw as the poor way he led the country.

And in two years if things keep being chaotic and crazy, Trump will lose the midterms for the same reasons, and then will probably get a repeat of his first term where his last two years were defined by trying to find loopholes around congress but kept getting blocked.

Those people are stupid fuckwits who don't understand giving the guy who kept saying he'd be a dictator and how much he likes a dictator the keys to power again was a disaster waiting to happen
