I forget what's its called, the 3d modeling software a lot of porn sites use exclusively, but it has a problem where it struggles to properly render more complicated textures like skin and wrinkles so it ends up flattening them out and causing some uncanny valley effect.

A lot of the better artists are able to use lighting and different camera angles to hide it, but those kinds of artist aren't usually making porn, their making a bunch of money in Hollywood or game development. lol.
