Large creature finally shows up. It's trying to move as steathily as possible, if what you conjecture from its attempts to stay low to the ground. From your fifth eye, you see Small creature whisper something, a violet light builds up around its hand, it steps out from behind the tree, points at Large creature and-

A violet ray of light shoots forth from the hand, striking Large creaure in the hand holding the burning piece of wood. It cries out in pain and drops the wood, but it recovers quickly and charges Small creature, easily catching its attempt to dodge with its greater reach and restrains it below it with its larger mass.

Dude she's being Attacked. Unless you're planning to betray the drow who might not kill you out of hand after freeing her like other races will on average.
