Now I think about it Influence is a great choice too, Soft is really good at the whole therapy thing and wants the best for everyone and could use responsibilities from helping out with Ponyville's direction to grow up in a good way, meanwhile her friends would be forced to interact with other ponies in public projects reminding them of why they keep going, it would be great for all of them!

Nahh, I'd argue Influence is only better than Inspiration (which considering it extra-Wolfs Softy, isn't saying much). It's the only one that explicitly has something bad happen basically right away to one of our contacts, and would force us into committing to speed-socialing her just to avoid probably-not-her-death. We're going to have a Level 7 book and Level 6 reagent to go after next turn, we really need to have Mareinette available for that, and we have better targets for our free social action (like Cheerilee).

I do think there's a compelling argument for Inspirstion just for that added insight into the wolf.

Being able to learn as if we had more than half our stains, without actually venturing down that road… is really something.
