I was reminded of a Worm oneshot or snipppet that somebody posted a while back.
In it Leet's shard succeeds in getting a new host.
It then puts "proper" restrictions on component usage, such that everything must be completely unique, no reusing any components.
Not long after, the Shard is upset because it's host isn't building anything, despite being given the urge to build.
Finally it checks and finds out that nothing can be built because all possible power sources have been used, along with certain other key items in any design and both the host and the Shard are SOL because of the new restrictions in its current configuration, and it realized it made a horrible mistake as the host can't build anything as all the important components have already been used.
 
Looking for a dimension hopping story where the author does a dice roll to see in what kind of world they end up in. I remember a good roll and he ended up in a paradise world where he meets hope corgi. I think the protagonist was trying to find his home dimension

Does anyone know of an example of a story where an SI, preferably female, is the main character, just not the protagonist?
Who despite having a great deal of power themselves, lets another character from the story take the lead?

I've been thinking of making a story like this.
Sadly mostly idle fantasy. :( Maybe one day...
But trying to find an example of how that would look seems like it hasn't turned up anything longer than perhaps a few chapters here and there.

there is this one pokemon mystery dungeon fic i cant find where the Mc inadvertently makes a deal with a demon and is stuck as a skitty being tortured cause their best move attract goes haywire all the time and thus get no respect from anyone.

I can't remember the name but there was a waifu catalogue fic where the female SI was companioned to a contractor doing one of the skyblock challenges. she was imported into a Luna (from hella boss/hazbin hotel) skin.
it was one of those, you are a clone of someone I hate fic's, where the manager who set it up manipulated things so that he found an individual (the contractor) who's fetish was Futa on Female furry rough BDSM and basically set up the SI to be a gimp by making them a werewolf girl
anyone here know what I'm talking about?

some of @Lesbean 's storys also come close, such as gray like SMKK , as does reversal of fortune, I would happily recommend both, lesbean is a very good writer.
 
Looking for a Touhou fic in which Marisa is going to become a magician youkai and because she can't use the "borrowing until I die" excuse anymore she has to take all Patchouli's books back.
 
I vaguely remember a story that I now can not find, it is of Taylor summoning an invisible Canadian goose that only she can see. Regent mentions how they are all doomed.

You would think just trying to find summon goose or such would give a result but no. Not I doesn't on here or FF, any help please?

That vaguely sounds like for honk and gaggles, but i could be wrong
 
Anybody now of any fics were the MC recreates things(books, games, manga, comics, music and what not) from our would for people in their new world to enjoy, I'm not looking for some medieval technology uplift thing
Some examples that I know of: Misaka Imouto The Author(can be found here), The Game Cafe in Marvel and DC(can be found here), The Pen is Mightier than the Sword….and Magic(can be found here), MARVEL: Game Maker System (Avengers, X-Men, SI)(can be found Here), Ghost in the City. Cyberpunk Gamer SI (can be found Here)has small portion were the MC makes some songs but I wish there was more

Point me in the the direction of the right thread then instead of just telling me this is the wrong because just going "hEr HeR tHiS tHe WrOnG tHreAd" isn't helpful.
Edit: I my apologies for being extremely rude I am just frustrated over the fact that I have posted this on two sites(spacebattles and here) and I have only gotten a single recommendation on the other site and noting else while on here all I got was a few likes, a guy telling me to correct my post with links and you telling me this is the wrong thread.

I don't think we have a single global thread for recommendations, but if you look in the Creative Writing Index and NSFW Creative Writing Index forums and look for threads with 'rec' in their name, you'll find various threads for recommendations for specific fandoms or kinks.
 
I'm trying to find a fic where the main character is a dragon that has survived several calamities and he starts training a girl who is a descendant of a human hero that he respected. I remember that the dragon has a vampire friend who he makes a wager on who can make a better kingdom I think. Also the dragon is disappointed in how humanity has weakened in areas like magic. The magic system was rune based too I think.
 
I am looking for a story on this site that I lost because I forgot to watch it the main character was reborn as an orphan in Gotham with a cool ability he could gain power from the way people saw him for example he played the role of classic nerd for most of his life and slowly gained super intellgenice

Something like this? P-orcing All the Girls (WORM SI) Summery: Take a decent person. Throw them into a situation, and a body, with powers that they'd never been meant to handle because of bad paperwork...then run with it all the way down. When you're a Hentai Orc that is seemingly obsessed with subverting nearly all the tropes that normally comes with what you are...it isn't like you can do much else, right?
