So we've got 4 more Pokemon yet to be added. I think Flygon / Garchomp are a guarantee... He don't have a single Psychic so I hope he adds a Claydoll. Torterra would be a good fit too.

My guesses:
When I hear Karn, I think of Karn the Silver Golem from Magic the Gathering. Considering the pokemon available, Golem would be the most obvious, but Claydol or Excadrill could fit too.

The only 'Ground' type that I know of that two names works for is Nincada. So Isra would be a Ninjask and Fel would be a Shedinja.

Atlas works for any bipedal pokemon with two arms and immense strength, so no guess there.

Honestly I can't wait to see what the new guys turn out to be. Hmm honestly I think Atlas is going to be either a Garchomp or a Swampert. Though id love to see a Rhyperior though that might be Karn. I can't think of a canon mon that fits the duo name so we might be getting a fakemon.

gible doesn't need to be smuggled from sinnoh as they can be found in the safari zone in jotho. other ground types the MC might be interested in include hippopotas and trapinch.

There was that Breeder deal for Baltoy and Trapinch in exchange for Smeargle. Going by the names Trapinch might not work out for whatever reason, either not meeting Brad's standards or knowing a guy that knows a guy failing to deliver.

Another fantastic chapter, instant read as soon as I saw the notification. Really looking forward to how the story will continue to progress. Hoping his lower leveled Mons can catch up with the big hitters. Also would be nice to see some relationship development possibly. Finally, so we see 8th level badge Ace is in the mid 50s, what's roughly the levels for E4? Mid 60s with their Aces in the 70s. Champ would be 80+ then is my guess. Hope to see more soon from you. The end result isn't ideal for either party. On our side, I'd say moderate damage on Vlad. Icy Wind is a fairly weak move but quad-effective is still quad-effective. Especially with a Gliscor's being about 50 points lower than its Physical.

This is now my second favorite Pokemon trainer SI of all time. I feel like every other chapter has new ideas about Pokemon tactics or the setting I haven't seen before. Great stuff, looking forward to the next chapter already.

I had the thought that maybe the duo was a two-headed Onix/Steelix, kind of like how snakes can sometimes be born with two heads. It would add an interesting element to the Pokemon's characterization because you would have to keep one head from killing the other.

Extra points if it's a Steelix made from a crystal variant, so it's overall base weight is less than a normal Steelix, which might make it faster. The lower base weight might even mean they could use a thicker metal coat on it.

I don't think that would be an issue in the Pokemon world. Cause the mon are smart enough not to fuck themselves over by killing the other head. The Deino line is an exception since the head who loses gets subsumed by the other upon evolution

Good lord, how horrifying. A two headed Onix would be an insane mutation already, but to have only one of them be evolved? I don't even want to imagine the potential health problems.

The poor creature would probably need round the clock care.

EDIT: Only after posting this did the right neuron fire and I realize you probably meant a two-headed Onix evolving into a two-headed Steelix. Damn, sometimes I'm dumb.

Regardless, I'll say the Isra and Fel situation won't be something like that.

That Quagsire sounds terrifying. It has the raw strength of an evolved form, while simultaneously possessing the unbreakable mind and spirit of the most incredible pokemon known to man—a newborn Whooper.

Also, quite lucky of Bradley to attach himself to the clear protagonist of the story and possibly world, Simon. As a blatant shounen protagonist, he doesn't just have full body armor, he has full existence plot armor.
