Gacha Harem King DxD

...We might need a possible conversion function for the Waifu Gacha Rolls themselves at this point, I don't think Issei's realizing just how big this Harem's going to get and whether or not he can actually keep up with their own wants and needs. Poor bastard hasn't even gotten the originals close before rolling for more, and it's gonna be even more hectic.

Damn, Yukina. You really are a man of culture; Karura completely blindsided me. I didn't think you would add someone like her to the DxD, though I suppose not every member of the harem has to be a top-tier powerhouse/support. Now my biggest question. Why is this still in regular creative writing?

You're one of the best writers on this site; you should be getting way more eyes on your work. Plus, this is my favorite out of your stories. I feel you should get way more engagement on it.

[Roll 10: Karura Kure has been summoned.]
always a nice surprise to see that adorable cinnamon roll come into a fic
And then—she dropped the bomb. "Now that I know you're strong… we should start making babies right away."

The throne room exploded.

"EEEHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?!" Issei shrieked, his whole face turning crimson.
completely in character for her.
Summoning Complete: Karura Kure. Love Meter: 90%]

His jaw dropped. "N-Ninety?! Already?!"
yup. that's Karura for you. the moment she "Senses" your potential she starts ovulating
Oh, I have heard of this one. From Baki, I think. I wonder if she can learn Touki here?
actually from Kengan Ashura/Omega.. but it wouldnt surprise me if she could figure out Touki tbh. even the manga's author stated she'd be a tournament winner if she took part in a female variation of the Kengan Matches

interesting story, an unusual cast of waifu's that I would not expect to show up but if you do not mind me asking, how many settings and which one does the "waifu gacha" have in it? As well how do you decide who gets chosen? Do you use a roulette like wheel of names .com? Or do you use something else? because I am very curious to learn what could be potentially brought out, but if that is classified then I understand.

The only requirement is that the waifu's aren't used in many fanfictions or are unknown. From there I have a huge list of names where a randomizer, chooses the name.

I'm especially glad that Karura/Karla was brought in cause she's so freaking cute

but what is in the current "list" right now? Because I saw how some people made suggestions and you added them in, but beyond that I do not what the other possibilities are. And which site do you use for randomizer?

or which waifu's are banned? Like I can imagine the obvious ones like Fate, Naruto, Fairy Tale, Bleach, One Piece and so but what else?

Like I want to know so I don't make any suggestions that are already on the list or are banned from it.

That entire list is a secret but know that it's over 300 waifu's already.

If waifus are banned due to popularity of the individual rather than the media, then some Fate and Naruto characters would still be on the list so yay. Kurenai, Medusa (hardly ever really see fics with her even though people seem to like her, maybe its just me) etcetera.

do I have to be a Patreon member to see the list?

Or should I start shooting names in the dark and see if any hit? By that I mean potential suggestions to include of course.

Well for Kurenai most people just pair with her with Asuma, especially since they loved each other and had the whole having a child despite how Asuma would die to Hidan. So kind of hard when those two were in a sort of OTP from the creator of Naruto despite his many flaws.

As for Medusa....well if she's here then great.

Chapter 11 A Sudden Evolution New
Issei leaned back against the cool stone of the throne room wall, exhaling softly as his eyes swept over the chaotic but strangely lively scene unfolding before him. His supposed harem, the strange, mismatched family the Gacha had assembled, was gathered in small knots of conversation.

Nyaruko, Kaguya, Evangeline, and Priscilla—the older summons who had been with him longer—took the lead in addressing the newcomers.

Nyaruko practically bounced as she introduced herself again, crowbar twirling lazily in her hand. "So yeah, I'm Nyaruko, the cutest alien cosmic horror you'll ever meet! And also Darling's number one wife—don't let anyone else tell you otherwise!" She winked dramatically at Run, who immediately bristled.

Kaguya's crimson eyes narrowed as she gave her introduction like an imperial decree. "I am Kaguya, a princess of divine heritage. I hold the highest station among you all, so understand that in matters of authority, I am not to be questioned and I am the true wife, don't listen to Nyaruko and her lies."

Nyaruko could be seen showing her tongue with Kaguya scoffing at her childish behavior.

Evangeline sat casually upon the throne, legs crossed, her voice carrying a cool, aristocratic sharpness. "Evangeline A.K. McDowell. Vampire. Do not expect warmth, but do not mistake me for your enemy either."

Priscilla, by contrast, bowed her head with a calm dignity that carried a weight of its own. "Priscilla. A half-dragon in flesh. I protect what is mine, and if you call Issei your husband, then you are now under my protection as well."

The newer summons—Shiraori with her unreadable crimson eyes, Henrietta with her regal posture, Lala holding her head at her side like it was nothing, Furina puffing herself up with bravado, Run smirking smugly, Karura glaring with sharp focus, and Yukina still hugging her sleeves shyly—listened closely.

When the last of the introductions quieted down, a hush fell over the throne room.

Priscilla was the first to speak, her golden-green eyes calm but her voice carrying the weight of truth. "You should all know where you stand now. This castle was once a church used by our enemies that we have taken for ourselves. Evangeline reforged it into this fortress, and it now sits at the outskirts of Issei's hometown."

Lala tilted her head, her scarf fluttering as she balanced her head against her shoulder. "A hometown? So this place isn't just some summoned dimension?"

"No." Evangeline's smirk curved, her crimson eyes gleaming in the torchlight. "It lies in the mortal world. A city of humans who know nothing of us. They go about their lives blind to what lurks in shadow. The supernatural is real here—but it must remain hidden."

Shiraori blinked, her eerie eyes glimmering faintly, her thoughts scattering like threads of a web. 'A world where monsters hide from mortals. Strange.'

Henrietta's brows furrowed delicately. "Then… ordinary humans are unaware? Only a chosen few know?"

Kaguya looked at the rest and her tone was clipped and authoritative. "Correct. Only a select few humans are aware of the supernatural. The majority remain blissfully ignorant, as their fragile lives would shatter under the truth. But among those few are mages, hybrids… and Sacred Gear hosts."

That drew the newcomers' attention. Even Furina, who until now had been inspecting her nails with practiced disinterest, perked up at the term. "Sacred Gear?"

Raynare, standing near the wall with Kalawarna, finally stepped forward. Her violet eyes glimmered faintly with old bitterness. "Sacred Gears are gifts—tools placed within humans by an important God. Weapons, powers, and miracles hidden in human souls."

Kalawarna added smoothly, folding her hands in front of her apron. "Some are trivial, some are dangerous, and a rare few… could topple kingdoms." Her eyes flicked toward Issei meaningfully.

All eyes followed with Issei rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly, feeling the heat of their gazes. "Y-Yeah… I'm one of those humans. I've got a Sacred Gear called the Twice Critical." He raised his left hand, and with a flash of crimson light, the familiar gauntlet materialized, gleaming like dragon's scale.

But something was different as gasps rippled through the old summons and the maids.

Nyaruko leaned closer, tilting her head curiously. "Darling… wait a sec. Wasn't it just a red glove before? When did it turn into… that?"

Kaguya's red eyes narrowed, her tone cool and imperious. "Indeed. The last time you displayed your weapon, it appeared less… refined. Now it resembles a true weapon."

Evangeline's interest piqued despite herself. "Hoh? So the boy's toy evolved while no one was paying attention."

Priscilla stepped closer, her golden-green gaze steady on the crimson metal. "I sense more draconic power… but there is another presence mingled within it. A spirit, perhaps?"

Issei blinked as he didn't understand their reaction, his mouth opening and closing as he looked down at his arm. For the first time, he noticed it too. The Boosted Gear wasn't the red glove he was used to summoning—it stretched all the way up his forearm now, forged scales glinting like tempered armor. The dragon eye embedded in the back pulsed faintly, as if alive.

"W-Wait, what?! Since when did this happen?!" He yelped, holding his arm up, turning it back and forth as if it would suddenly explain itself. "This… this isn't how it used to look!"

The girls pressed in closer, their voices overlapping.

"Darling, don't tell me you didn't notice?" Nyaruko demanded.

"You are truly hopeless," Kaguya sighed, her voice dripping with exasperation.

"Pfft, of course he didn't notice," Evangeline cackled, her eyes glittering with amusement. "The idiot stumbles into power the way drunks stumble into ditches."

Priscilla's tone stayed even, though her eyes sharpened. "Issei. Think. Did anything unusual happen before? Anything that could have altered your Sacred Gear?"

Issei's brow furrowed as he scratched the back of his head with his free hand. "Unusual…? Well, I mean… yeah, a lot of unusual stuff happens to me, but… I don't—"

The newer girls stirred with confusion. Run blinked, her pink eyes sparkling as she poked at the air toward the gauntlet. "Darling's hand looks even cooler now!"

"It manifests physically. A gauntlet fused with your body… how intriguing." Lala tilted her head with her hands. "But did the armor change… is this an ability of your Sacred Gear, Issei?"

Henrietta crossed her arms, her blue eyes studied him. "No. Their surprise proves otherwise."

Yukina clutched her sleeves nervously, her voice soft. "…So… it wasn't like that before? Then… what made it change?"

While the girls argued and questioned, two figures stood off to the side in tense silence, Raynare and Kalawarna. Unlike the others, their expressions weren't just curious—they were shocked. Eyes widened, lips pressed tightly together, their bodies stiff as if they were staring at something both terrifying and awe-inspiring.

Evangeline's sharp eyes caught it immediately. The vampire leaned forward on the throne, her voice carrying like a whip. "You two. Why do you look as though you've just seen death itself? Speak."

Both maids flinched under her gaze. Raynare exchanged a glance with Kalawarna before stepping forward, lowering her head respectfully. "Forgive us, Lady Evangeline. It's just… we recognize what the Master possesses."

Kalawarna added quickly, her voice steady despite the weight in her eyes. "That is no ordinary Sacred Gear. What you see is the Boosted Gear, one of the Thirteen Longinus. Artifacts so powerful, they were designed to slay gods themselves."

The throne room fell into stunned silence.

Issei's eyes bulged, his mouth opening and closing. "W-Wait… WHAT?!"

Raynare nodded gravely, continuing. "The Boosted Gear hosts the soul of one of the Two Heavenly Dragons—Ddraig, the Red Dragon Emperor. Its wielder is given his power and the title of Sekiryuutei, the Welsh Dragon. A force feared across all factions."

Kalawarna's voice grew quieter, but no less sharp. "With each activation, the gauntlet doubles the user's power every ten seconds. And with its true potential… it can rival even gods. That is the weight of the weapon you bear, Master."

The words echoed through the chamber, striking every ear with a different chord.

Issei stood frozen, staring at his own arm as if it had betrayed him. 'S-Slay gods? Sekiryuutei?! That's… that's way too much! I'm just some pervy high schooler! How the hell am I supposed to live up to THAT?'

The reactions of the harem were immediate and intense.

Kaguya's crimson eyes gleamed with renewed fire, a proud smile spread across her lips. "So… my husband is the bearer of a divine weapon feared by gods. Hmph. Then my standing as his wife is elevated beyond reproach. None shall dare insult me now."

Evangeline chuckled darkly, her fangs glinting as her smirk widened. "Oh, this is delicious. The boy who summoned me turned out to be the host of the Red Dragon Emperor himself? Truly, you are the most amusing husband I could ask for." Her blue eyes turned bloody red glittered with hunger—not for blood, but for the spectacle of his potential.

Priscilla's golden-green eyes softened, a rare smile tugging at her lips. "So… you carry the soul of a dragon. Then our bond is closer than I thought, Issei. This would mean that we are two dragons, perhaps this was fate."

Karura's golden pupils flared with excitement, her lips curving into a wolfish grin. "Hah! Even stronger than I imagined. With such power in your blood, our children will be formidable. The stronger the father, the stronger the offspring."

"W-Wait—don't just jump to children again!" Issei yelped, his face flaming red.

Furina, meanwhile, practically vibrated with glee. "So you're… not just an ordinary human after all. You're touched by a god's hand." Then her lips quivered as she added with mock grandeur, "Of course, my husband would have to be extraordinary." She spread her arms wide, ribbons flaring as her mismatched eyes sparkled. "Magnifique! My husband, the slayer of gods, rival to divine beings, the legendary Sekiryuutei himself! At last, someone truly worthy of standing alongside Furina De Fontaine!" She laughed dramatically, striking a pose as if awaiting applause.

Run leaned against Issei's side, her pink eyes glittering mischievously. "Hehe, see? I knew my husband was extraordinary. Now there's no doubt—I'll make sure I'm the number one wife to the strongest man alive."

Yukina's hands tightened against her sleeves, her crimson eyes wide with awe. "…So… you're not only kind… but also that strong? I… I don't know how to compare…" Her cheeks flushed as she lowered her gaze shyly.

Even Lala, normally unreadable in her gloom, tilted her head with genuine curiosity. "A gauntlet that slays gods, carrying the soul of a dragon… how poetic."

Shiraori remained in the corner, her spider-like gaze flickering faintly. Her thoughts webbed out into silence. 'The Red Dragon Emperor… the Sekiryuutei. A king and a lord of power. A worthy husband indeed.'

But Evangeline then scoffed, lounging deeper into the throne. "Don't inflate his ego. He's still an idiot boy who dreams about breasts half the time."

"HEY!" Issei shouted, face burning as a few of the girls snickered.

Yukina clutched her sleeves tighter, her crimson eyes darting shyly toward him. "…Even so… it means he is special. Not just anyone could… carry such a burden."

Henrietta lowered her gaze, her voice soft with worry. "If that is true… then what dangers does this world hold? If there are tools strong enough to topple kingdoms, then surely there are enemies waiting in kind."

Priscilla's golden eyes narrowed, her voice calm but edged. "Indeed. This world is layered in mysteries. Fallen angels, devils, angels, yokai, dragons, gods… countless species spread across hidden realms and dimensions."

Karura snorted softly. "Good. Then plenty of strong enemies for me to test myself against."

Run puffed out her chest. "And plenty of chances for me to prove I'm Issei's number one!"

Furina flicked her hair back dramatically, though her thoughts were quieter than her tone. 'So this is the stage I've been cast onto. A hidden world of gods and monsters. Perhaps… this is where my performance will finally be mine alone.'

Shiraori's many-pupiled eyes glowed faintly as she remained still. Her inner voice hummed. 'So many creatures… I will need a nest. A safe place to weave… and to watch.'

Issei lowered his gauntlet, letting it dissolve back into light. He scratched his cheek awkwardly, giving the group his trademark nervous grin. "S-So yeah… that's the situation. We live here, in this castle, right on the edge of my hometown. To most people out there, we can't let the truth slip. They wouldn't understand."

Henrietta, after listening carefully with her hands folded in front of her, eventually turned toward the two women standing quietly by the wall. They were dressed in maid uniforms, their eyes calm, but there was a weight in their posture—one used to servitude. "And… those two?" she asked politely, tilting her head.

Kaguya answered before anyone else. She pointed her finger toward the pair. "Raynare and Kalawarna. Unlike us, they are not summons. They are natives of this world—fallen angels, and were once our enemies. After their defeat, they were bound to serve us, relegated to handling our chores and daily needs. So understand this: you will always hold power and authority over them. Their place is beneath us."

Both Raynare and Kalawarna bowed low at that moment, their heads lowered, their voices calm and steady. "We serve the Master and his family," Raynare said softly.

Kalawarna added, her voice polite but clipped, "It is our duty to provide for your needs. Whatever they may be."

The new girls exchanged glances at the display. Run's smirk faltered just slightly, Yukina's crimson eyes widened in pity, and Karura's sharp gaze narrowed with suspicion.

Issei immediately stepped forward, waving his arms frantically. "H-Hey, hold on! Don't take that the wrong way!" He rubbed the back of his neck, his voice firming with unusual seriousness. "Yeah, Raynare and Kalawarna work as maids here, but that doesn't mean you should treat them badly or lord over them. They're people too. They've made mistakes, but they're trying to move forward. So… please, just get along with them, okay?"

The room went quiet for a moment. The contrast between Kaguya's imperious declaration and Issei's earnest words hung heavy in the air.

Henrietta was the first to nod softly. "I see… I happy to know that the servants are being shown kindness,"

Run crossed her arms, smirking faintly again. "Well, if Darling says so, then I'll play nice."

Yukina, blushing faintly, clutched her sleeves tighter. "…I-I understand. They must have suffered too… I won't treat them cruelly."

Karura snorted, folding her arms. "If they're strong, then fine. If they're weak… they should at least be useful. But… I'll listen to my husband."

Furina, flipping her hair dramatically, scoffed. "Hmph. Servants, attendants, retainers… I am used to such structures. But if the 'husband' decrees kindness, then I shall humor it."

Shiraori said nothing, her eyes flickering between the maids and Issei. Inside, her thoughts scattered. 'He asks us to be kind. Strange… but perhaps… right.'

Priscilla gave the faintest smile at Issei's words, her golden-green eyes softening. "Well spoken."

Raynare and Kalawarna glanced at one another, surprise flickering in their eyes before they bowed again, this time lower. "Thank you, Master," they said in unison.

Issei stretched his arms once. 'Man… my life just keeps getting weirder. But one problem at a time…'

He clapped his hands together, drawing the attention of the room. "Alright, listen up. I need to step out for a bit. The student council president requested a meeting. While I'm gone, I want the older girls to show the newcomers around—get them familiar with the castle layout. Bedrooms, dining hall, training rooms, baths—the works."

Nyaruko immediately threw her hand up like an overeager student. "Ooooh, I'll give the fun tour! Like the Library where Darling keeps his secret stash—"

Kaguya swatted her before she could finish. "You will do no such thing. The new arrivals need structure, not your degeneracy."

Evangeline smirked from her seat, twirling a lock of blonde hair. "Hah. Structure in this madhouse? Good luck."

Issei rolled his eyes with a weary smile. Then he turned toward the wall where Raynare and Kalawarna stood. "Kalawarna. You're coming with me. Sona said she wanted to talk to you about what you and the other fallen were doing in Kouh"

Kalawarna blinked, her lips parting before a faint smile curved them. She bowed, her long hair slipping over her shoulders. "As you wish, Master. It will be my honor to accompany you." Inside, her chest fluttered with a warmth she carefully hid. She stepped forward, smoothing her maid uniform, her golden eyes alight with eagerness.

But before they could move another step, Evangeline's voice cut through the chamber like a blade. "Hold it."

Issei froze, halfway turned toward the doors. "…Eh?"

The vampire's crimson eyes glowed faintly as she leaned lazily against the throne. "You're not walking into devil territory alone with just a maid at your side. That would be suicide."

Nyaruko's crowbar slammed against the floor, sparks flying. "Evangeline's right! Darling's too gullible for those shady devils—I'm coming with!"

Kaguya then gave her own input. "As am I. Husband cannot be trusted to hold his tongue without supervision. He will say something foolish, and we will all pay for it."

Priscilla's golden-green eyes softened, though her voice was firm. "And I will accompany you as well. Not out of doubt, Issei—but because I would not leave you unguarded in enemy territory."

Issei groaned, rubbing his temple. 'Of course they'd gang up on me… but man, do they all think I'm completely incapable?'

The newer summons, still gathered in a cluster, exchanged bewildered looks.

Run tilted her head, pink eyes narrowing. "Wait—devils? What are they talking about?"

Henrietta's posture stiffened, her diplomatic calm straining. "Yes, what do you mean by devil territory?"

Kaguya turned smoothly, her crimson eyes sweeping the group. "This land—this castle, the land of Kuoh, where we live, does not belong to us. A transaction was made between the Shinto faction, the gods that govern this country Japan and the Devils. As a result, this land is legally theirs. By establishing ourselves here without permission, we are… trespassing."

Gasps and murmurs rippled through the newcomers.

Yukina's eyes widened in fear, her fingers clutching her sleeves. "D-Devils? As in… creatures who… steal souls and torment mortals?" Her voice shook, her breath forming the faintest shimmer of frost in the air.

Henrietta's brows knitted with worry, her hands clasped tightly. "Then… are we in danger? If this land belongs to them, surely they will not take kindly to our intrusion."

Karura's golden pupils glimmered as she scoffed. "Hmph. Then why waste time with meetings? If they claim this land, let them come. We'll defeat them and keep it." Her hands flexed eagerly, itching for combat.

Furina flipped her ponytail dramatically, her mismatched eyes flashing. "Exactly! Why lower ourselves to their rules when we could simply outshine them? One performance of might, and they would cower."

Nyaruko giggled, twirling her crowbar. "Ohhh, I like the way you two think."

But Issei quickly waved his arms in protest. "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold on! Look, I get where you're coming from, but fighting isn't the answer here."

Karura frowned, crossing her arms. "Why not? Power decides everything."

"Because," Issei said firmly, surprising even himself with the conviction in his voice, "we're not here to pick fights. We're here to live peacefully. If we start by attacking, we'll only make enemies out of people we don't have to. All we're doing right now is talking. That's it. No fighting."

The words settled over the throne room.

Yukina's tense shoulders loosened just slightly, her eyes softening. "…Talking is… safer."

Henrietta exhaled a shaky breath, nodding. "You're right. A peaceful solution must be sought, if possible."

Karura scowled, but her lips curled faintly. "…If you say so. But if they lay a hand on you, Husband…" Her golden eyes flashed dangerously. "…I will not hesitate."

Furina puffed up her chest, her bravado ringing. "Fine! Then I'll let you play diplomat. But if the devils mock you, I will have my encore performance at their expense."

Issei sweatdropped, scratching his cheek nervously. 'Great. I've got a group ready to start a war, and another ready to faint at the word devil.'

"I'm coming too," Run declared, her pink eyes gleaming with determination as she pressed against Issei's side. "If my husband is walking into enemy territory, then I'll be there to protect him. Besides, what if one of those women try to steal him away?"

"Eh—w-wait, Run—!" Issei sputtered, feeling her arms cling possessively.

Karura folded her arms, her golden pupils narrowing. "Count me in. If there's a chance for a fight, I refuse to miss it. And if not… then I'll at least see what kind of opponents lurk in this land."

Lala tilted her head—her head actually resting against her arm as her body stood tall. "I wish to come as well. I want to see this human city with my own eyes."

And of course, Furina twirled dramatically, ribbons fluttering. "As if I would stay behind! Fontaine's greatest star cannot be hidden away in a dusty castle. I'll accompany you, husband, partly to guard you, but mostly because I demand a tour of your dreary little town!"

Issei scratched his head as the group grew larger and louder. 'At this rate I'll show up to the meeting with a parade behind me…'

But their expressions—Run's fierce loyalty, Karura's thrill for combat, Lala's genuine curiosity, Furina's eagerness to perform—told him they weren't going to change their minds. With a heavy sigh, he raised both hands. "Alright, fine! You can all come. Just… don't cause trouble, okay? This is a talk, not a battle."

His words got a collective murmur of half-hearted agreement.

But then his eyes landed on Lala. Her pale blue skin and the head she held delicately against her chest made his stomach drop.

"…Uh. Problem," Issei muttered.

Nyaruko leaned in with a mischievous grin. "What's the problem, Darling? Embarrassed to be seen walking around with a headless girlfriend? I think it's kinda metal."

Issei waved his arms frantically. "No, no, no—you don't get it! The town's full of normal humans. If they see a girl carrying her head around, they'll freak out and we'll have every cop in the city chasing us!"

The throne room quieted for a moment before several of the newcomers blinked, realizing he was right.

"Then… what do we do?" Lala asked calmly, tilting her head so far to the side it nearly slipped from her grip.

Issei turned toward the wall. "Raynare."

The fallen angel straightened, violet eyes flickering in surprise. "Yes, Master?"

"Teach Lala the same transformation spell you taught Priscilla," Issei said firmly. "We're going outside, and the supernatural has to stay hidden. I don't want the entire city in a panic over this."

Lala's golden eyes lit up faintly. "Transformation… spell?"

Raynare nodded smoothly, though there was a small, amused smile at the corners of her lips. "Very well. It's a basic glamour—simple enough to conceal her traits and present her as human. Come, Lady Lala. We'll practice."

The group gave them space. Lala followed Raynare to the center of the room, setting her head carefully on her shoulders again. Raynare guided her through the motions, her hands moving gracefully as she wove faint traces of light into the air. "Focus your will on your appearance. Picture yourself as you wish to be seen by human eyes. The magic will do the rest."

Lala copied the gestures, a faint glow surrounding her pale frame. Her form shimmered—and then her skin flushed into a natural tone, her golden eyes stayed the same, and her head settled naturally against her shoulders.

The girls gasped.

Lala blinked down at her hands, stunned. "I… look human?"

Raynare folded her hands neatly. "The glamour is simple, but effective. As long as you don't draw unnecessary attention, no one will question you."

Issei exhaled in relief. "Thank God… or, uh, maybe not God, but—you get it."

Lala lifted her hands to her cheeks, her lips curling into a faint, almost childlike smile. "This is… wonderful. I never thought I would wear the skin of a regular human. To think, I am capable of magic as well…"

Furina clapped dramatically, her voice full of amusement. "Splendid! Even the headless ghoul can don a mask for the mortal stage. How very theatrical."

Run leaned closer, studying Lala with narrowed eyes. "…You look pretty cute like that. But don't think it'll win you points with Darling."

Karura shrugged. "At least she won't scare the townsfolk now. That's fine by me."

Issei rubbed the back of his neck, smiling faintly at Lala's quiet awe. 'She looks really normal… maybe this trip won't be a total disaster after all.

Once Lala finished admiring her new human guise, Issei turned toward the three who had been quiet through most of the discussion: Yukina, Henrietta, and Shiraori.

"Alright," He said, rubbing the back of his neck. "What about you three? Do you want to come along too?"

The girls shifted, each in their own way.

Shiraori tilted her head, her crimson, many-pupiled eyes blinking slowly. Then, without a word, she raised one hand, bent her fingers into odd little gestures, and mimed a slow turn before pointing toward the stairs.

Issei squinted for a moment, his lips tugging sideways. "…You want to head to your room?"

Shiraori gave a single, deliberate nod, her sleeves twitching faintly as if in agreement.

"Got it," Issei said with a small smile. "You'll stay here then. That's fine." He knew her strange gestures well enough by now to catch her meaning—she had no interest in striding into devil territory.

Henrietta folded her hands neatly in front of her, her posture graceful but her teal eyes unsettled. "Forgive me, Issei… but I think it best I remain here. I know little of this world, and I fear my presence would only complicate matters. I am no warrior."

Yukina clutched her sleeves, her crimson eyes lowering as her voice trembled. "…I… I don't want to go. The word 'devil' alone… it frightens me. And… I wouldn't be of any help if things turned violent." Frost shimmered faintly at her feet as her emotions leaked out.

Issei stepped closer, his expression softening. "Hey, that's okay. You don't have to fight if you don't want to. Neither of you do. This isn't your problem to solve." He gave them a warm smile, scratching his cheek awkwardly. "I'll take you both out into town another time. Somewhere safe. Promise where you can enjoy yourself-"

Henrietta's shoulders eased, and she gave a graceful bow of her head. "Thank you. I'll hold you to that promise."

Yukina blinked in surprise, her lips parting faintly before a small, relieved smile touched her face. "…Okay. I'll look forward to it."

Satisfied, Issei turned toward the far wall. "Raynare."

The angelic maid straightened, violet eyes focused on him. "Yes, Master?"

"Show them around. Make sure they know where everything is—the rooms, dining hall, baths. And… if they need anything, just take care of it."

Raynare's lips curved faintly, though her bow was precise and formal. "As you command. I'll see to their needs."

Kalawarna glanced at her counterpart with a faint smirk, then inclined her head as well. "They'll be in good hands. Don't worry."

Issei gave them both a grateful nod before looking back at the gathered group of women who had chosen to join him. 'Alright. Some will stay, some will come. I just hope dragging half a parade into this meeting doesn't make things worse.'

He then turned toward the door again, sighing. "Alright… let's go meet the student council president."

Behind him, Kalawarna gave a small bow. "Yes, Master." Her heart beat faster than usual, pride warming her chest at being chosen.

And just behind her, Nyaruko, Kaguya, Priscilla followed in step—each determined in their own way to make sure Issei survived the meeting.

The throne room fell into a low murmur as the door closed behind them, leaving some girls to absorb the reality of their bizarre new world.

—-----------------------------------------
Kouh
The streets of Kuoh were calm as the sun washed the town in warm light. Issei walked at the front of the group, his hands awkwardly holding onto Nyaruko and Evangeline's hand while his entourage of girls followed close behind with Run and Karura pouting. To passing eyes, it must have looked like a scene out of some dating sim gone haywire—one ordinary boy surrounded by an entourage of breathtaking beauties.

Kalawarna, dressed in her neat maid uniform, walked just behind Issei with practiced elegance, her yellow eyes always scanning the surroundings. To his side, Nyaruko was practically skipping along, humming to herself. Kaguya strode on the other side, a fan poised delicately in her hand, her posture regal as though she were walking through a palace courtyard instead of a Japanese suburb. Evangeline walked with her arms folded behind her back, her sharp gaze unimpressed by the simplicity of the human town.

But for the newer summons Lala, Furina, and Run. This was their first real glimpse of the outside world.

Run leaned closer to Issei, her pink eyes darting left and right with open wonder. "So this is the town you live in, Darling? It looks so… normal. Quiet, even. Not at all what I expected for a land owned by devils."

Lala, still marveling at her human disguise, kept turning her hands over as she walked. "So many people… and no one is panicking. It feels strange. They see me as just a normal human."

Furina's mismatched eyes gleamed as she twirled dramatically, her voice carrying through the street. "Ah! The air is different, the light is softer… What a quaint stage! Fontaine was grand, but here… there's a simplicity that borders on charming. Hmph. Not that it suits someone as radiant as me, but… I'll allow it."

Issei sweatdropped, pulling at his collar. 'Man, she is way too flashy. Hope it isn't to noticeable.'

But people did notice. Pedestrians slowed their steps, heads turning as whispers rippled through the crowd. Men and women alike stole glances at the group, their eyes widening in disbelief at the sheer collection of beauties walking down the street.

Priscilla was the first to speak, her golden-green eyes narrowing as she caught the stares. "Why do they keep looking at us? Have we erred in our appearance?"

Nyaruko grinned mischievously, leaning toward Issei. "Ooooh, Darling, tell her! Tell her why everyone can't keep their eyes off us."

Issei felt his face heat up as all eyes turned to him expectantly. He rubbed the back of his neck, trying to find the right words. "…Well, uh… it's not that you've done anything wrong. It's just… you're all so… otherworldly beautiful. Anyone would stare. Honestly, if I were them, I'd be staring too. You're all… really super attractive. Every single one of you."

Silence. For a moment, no one said anything. Then, the reactions came.

Priscilla's cheeks warmed faintly, though her tone remained calm. "To call me beautiful… hm. You have a bold honesty, Issei."

Kaguya's fan snapped shut, her crimson eyes narrowing as she tried—and failed—to hide her flushed cheeks. "Hmph. It is only natural you would recognize my radiance. Still… your acknowledgment is… not unwelcome."

Nyaruko squealed, throwing her arms around his neck from behind. "Kyaaa~! Darling complimented me! He really does love me most!"

Run puffed out her chest smugly, leaning against him. "As he should! After all, I'm the most stunning of them all. You said it yourself, Darling—'every single one of you.' But clearly, I'm number one."

Furina blinked in surprise, her mouth opening slightly before she recovered with her usual bravado. She twirled once, ribbons fluttering. "Well, of course he'd say that. What else could he possibly say when standing beside me? Still… hearing it aloud… mmh. Not bad."

Lala blinked innocently, her head tilting as she placed a hand against her chest. "He thinks I'm beautiful… even without my head? That's… nice."

Evangeline smirked, tilting her chin. "At least you're finally learning to flatter properly, boy. You should keep it up."

Karura crossed her arms, her golden pupils locked on him. "Hmph. So you see us as attractive. Then you'd better take responsibility. Words like that aren't meant to be wasted."

Kalawarna, walking just behind him, let out the faintest chuckle. "Master, you certainly know how to keep their hearts bound to you. Perhaps unintentionally… but effective nonetheless."

Issei flushed, his face heating up as he waved his arms. "I-I wasn't trying to make it a big deal! I was just explaining why people are staring!"

But the effect was undeniable. For a brief moment, the chaotic group of girls each carried a faint glow of happiness, their arguments and rivalries subdued by the simple, earnest words of the boy they had all been summoned to.

Issei sighed to himself, running a hand through his hair. 'Man… sometimes telling the truth gets me into even more trouble… but at least they looked happy this time.'

The group continued down the street, the whispers of passing townsfolk fading behind them as the girls walked just a little closer to him than before.

—---------------------------------
Kouh Academy
The walk through Kuoh had been long enough for the girls to marvel at every passing corner store, vending machine, and park, but now their eyes turned upward as they stopped at the gates of Kuoh Academy.

The sprawling campus stretched out before them, the tall main building gleaming. Wide windows reflected the sky, the immaculate paths lined with trimmed hedges and trees that swayed softly in the afternoon breeze. The school loomed with its size and elegance immediately drawing interest from the gathered harem.

Run's pink eyes sparkled. "So this is the place, Darling? It's huge! You really study here?"

Lala watched in wonder, her disguised human appearance hiding her usual gloom. "What a strange temple."

Furina twirled with her usual flair, her mismatched eyes widening with genuine curiosity. "The architecture is far too plain for my taste, but… there's something about it. A certain gravitas. So this is the academy you crawled out of."

Priscilla's golden-green eyes scanned the building with measured calm. "It is… impressive. For a human institution."

Karura crossed her arms, unimpressed. "Hmph. Too big. Looks more like a fortress than a school."

Kalawarna, walking behind Issei, noted the wide open grounds. "At least it provides space for training… though I doubt that's what they intended."

Issei exhaled slowly, scratching his cheek with a sheepish grin. "Yeah, well… this place isn't just any school. It's a school for the elite, I guess. It's hard to get in. I had to try like hell with my studies just to pass the entrance exams. I thought I was gonna die from all the late night cramming."

Evangeline's smirk widened as she tilted her chin, crimson eyes gleaming with mischief. "Oh? And why, pray tell, did you go through so much trouble for this place? Don't tell me you actually enjoy studying."

Issei stopped in his tracks, staring at her in disbelief. "…Are you serious? Do you even have to ask?" He threw his arms up dramatically. "This school used to be an all-girls school! Even now, the ratio of female to male students is crazy high! And not just that—the girls here are gorgeous! Pretty, refined, elegant—it's like paradise for a guy like me! This place is a pervert's dream!"

His words echoed against the walls of the courtyard.

The silence that followed was deafening.

Slowly, Issei became aware of the stares drilling into the back of his skull. He turned—and his blood ran cold.

Nyaruko's crowbar was already materializing, her smile twitching dangerously. "Darling… you mean other girls are prettier than me?"

Kaguya's crimson eyes burned with imperial fury, her fan trembling in her grip. "Husband… how dare you speak so casually of other women in front of us."

Priscilla's expression was calm, but the faint crackle of golden aura around her shoulders said otherwise. "Issei. Explain yourself."

Run's lips puckered into a pout, her pink eyes narrowing. "Hmph. So I'm not enough for you? I thought I already claimed you."

Furina clutched her chest dramatically, staggering backward like she'd been stabbed. "To think! My husband—my stage partner—would praise nameless extras instead of me!"

Even Lala's gentle golden eyes turned flat, her head tilting faintly. "You like… those girls more than me?"

Issei's heart leapt into his throat, his entire body breaking into cold sweat. 'Crap crap crap—wrong thing to say, Issei! Think, THINK!'

"N-No no no no! That's not what I meant!" he blurted, waving his hands frantically. "Sure, the girls here are pretty, but they're not as beautiful as you! Not even close! You're all in a whole different league! The others don't even compare!"

The words tumbled out in a rush, sweat dripping down his temple. He forced a nervous laugh, rubbing the back of his neck as the weight of nine glares bore down on him.

For a moment, silence reigned again.

Then Nyaruko slowly lowered her crowbar, her cheeks puffing as she crossed her arms. "Hmph. Fine. But don't let me catch you staring at any of them."

Kaguya flicked open her fan with a sharp snap, hiding the faint blush on her cheeks. "You had better remember your place, husband. Beauty such as ours is unmatched."

Priscilla's aura dimmed as she turned away, though her lips curved into the faintest of smiles. "Your tongue is clumsy, but your heart is in the right place."

Run smirked, leaning closer to Issei with a gleam in her eyes. "Nice save, Darling. You'll have to work harder to convince me, though."

Furina exhaled dramatically, turning her nose up. "Hmph. A stumble, but you managed to recover. I'll allow it—for now."

Issei groaned inwardly, dragging a hand down his face as he muttered to himself. 'Man, I almost got killed right there in front of the school. This meeting hasn't even started yet and I'm already in trouble…'

Still, as they walked deeper into the empty campus, the girls seemed to press closer around him, each secretly pleased by his desperate reassurance.

—---------------------------------

The student council office smelled faintly of ink and paper, the warm yellow glow of lamps illuminating stacks of forms that seemed to multiply no matter how quickly they were signed. Behind the heavy oak desk sat Sona, her posture straight, her glasses catching the light as she flipped through another report. Around her, the members of her peerage, her fellow council members, were busy shuffling papers, stamping forms, and quietly discussing details of school matters.

It was quiet, disciplined, and efficient. Until a knock rattled the door.

"Who is it?" Sona called, her tone clipped but calm.

From the other side came a familiar voice. "Uh… it's Hyoudou Issei. I'm here like you asked."

Sona's eyes narrowed. She set down her pen deliberately, and the members of her peerage instinctively shifted closer behind her, forming a protective arc. The atmosphere in the room sharpened.

"…Enter," Sona said at last.

The door creaked open, and in stepped Issei—looking nervous but trying to stand tall. And he wasn't alone.

A flood of women trailed behind him, each distinct, each radiating some strange aura. Sona's sharp violet gaze flicked from one face to the next. Too many new girls were added as they were not the same group she had observed the night before. Immediately her mind raced to identify them, to categorize their powers. But two of them in particular drew her attention as the concealment magic wrapped around them, faint but deliberate. Someone did not want their true nature exposed.

Her lips pressed into a thin line.

And then her gaze landed on her. The fallen angel who had tried to kill Issei not long ago—now standing in a maid's uniform, walking and acting like a servant.

Sona's tone snapped like ice. "You're late."

Issei winced, scratching the back of his head with a sheepish smile. "S-Sorry! Something came up… we had to, uh, deal with a few things before coming." His laugh was awkward, but genuine. 'Man, of all the times to show up with a crowd this big…'

Sona adjusted her glasses, unimpressed. "Your group seems to have grown."

Before Issei could stammer an answer, Kaguya stepped smoothly in front of him, her crimson eyes narrowing with aristocratic steel. "They were occupied with other matters last night and couldn't help us deal with the trash that attacked us last night." Her fan snapped shut with a decisive clack, her authority filling the room.

Sona's brows furrowed. 'So she thinks she speaks for him? Interesting.'

Meanwhile, the new girls began whispering among themselves, their eyes roaming over Sona and her peerage.

Furina tilted her head, her mismatched eyes gleaming with intrigue. "These are devils? They look… terribly ordinary. Where are the horns, the claws, the flames of hell?"

Run leaned closer to Nyaruko, smirking. "Seriously, they just look like honor students. This is supposed to be scary?"

Karura's golden eyes narrowed as she crossed her arms. "If these are devils, then they do not appear very strong. They don't even feel like proper warriors. They're not what I imagined at all."

Even Lala blinked, as she inspected them from a different angle. "Curious. Their presence is faint, almost deliberately hidden."

The whispers, though hushed, carried easily across the tense room.

Sona's eye twitched. Her patience frayed, and she turned her gaze directly on Issei.

He caught it immediately, his face paling as he waved his arms frantically. "H-Hey, guys, cut it out! Don't judge the people right in front of you! You don't know what they're capable of."

The room fell quiet, all eyes shifting back to Sona.

She inhaled slowly, letting the moment stretch before she spoke again. "…Please. Sit down. We should begin our talk."

Issei exhaled in relief, guiding his group toward the chairs provided. The new girls still murmured to themselves as they took their seats, while the older ones—Nyaruko smirking mischievously, Kaguya sitting stiff-backed like royalty, Priscilla calm as stone, and Evangeline lounging with a smirk—settled into place with practiced ease.

Sona folded her hands over her desk, her violet eyes sharp as blades.

Finally done. Tell me what you think and if I made any mistakes. What do you think this meeting will be about? Hopefully it turned all right. Like always this commission was brought to you by Deus Ex Mima. So be sure to thank him. Come show your support at my patreon.com/orengeflame. Also one extra chapter in patreon.

Fast Question on your Waifu list.
Do we have genderbent or Rule 63 characters?
Who are the overall strongest whit every stat and ability they have? your top 3 or 5 or 10 if you want to spoil for us?

Now this is fun. I can't wait to see how the meeting turns out. Btw, I think you got mixed up in the holding hand scene. You wrote, "His hands awkwardly holding onto Nyaruko and Evangeline," and later said it was Kaguya and Nyaruko. Anyways, thanks for the chapter.

after the confrontation between them and the fallen and their group, it became reparative? Like when issei used the rest of his summons, each reaction is just the same, bland, and redundant i guess. The story itself is good, loved the earlier chapters. Its just this chapter that gives a boring perspective.

Chapter 12 School Meeting New
Kouh Academy
The student council office, normally a place of quiet authority, felt almost suffocating with the weight of bodies and clashing presences inside. On one side of the room, a long leather sofa creaked under the pressure of its unusual occupants.

Issei sat dead center, shoulders hunched awkwardly, a bead of sweat trailing down his temple. To his right, Kaguya sat with the elegance of royalty, her crimson eyes sharp and staring at the devils as if that alone could drill a hole. To his left lounged Evangeline, legs crossed, chin propped on her palm, her aristocratic smirk daring anyone to question her.

On his lap, however, sat Nyaruko and Run—one clinging with unrestrained enthusiasm, the other draping herself with smug possessiveness. Their narrowed eyes clashed like swords as they pressed closer to Issei, effectively pinning him in place.

"Uh, hey," Issei whispered nervously, tugging at his collar. "Could you two… y'know, maybe move? Hard to talk like this…"

"Nope!" Nyaruko chirped, tightening her grip on his arm and glaring at Run.

"Absolutely not," Run countered sweetly, though her hot-pink eyes flashed with challenge as she leaned closer. "I'm perfectly comfortable right here."

Their voices overlapped in hissing glares, both refusing to yield an inch of space.

Standing behind the sofa like guardians were Priscilla with her calm, golden-green eyes, Furina puffing up dramatically like she was about to announce a stage performance, Lala looking at the devils confused, Karura with arms folded and gaze sharp, and Kalawarna in her neat maid attire, her expression polite but alert.

Across from them, on a matching couch, sat Souna Shitori,no, Sona Sitri, her back perfectly straight, her violet eyes cold behind her glasses. Behind her stood her peerage, the tall and elegant Tsubaki Shinra, the quiet Momo Hanakai, gentle Reya Kusaka, fiery Tomoe Meguri, athletic Tsubasa Yura, and petite Ruruko Nimura. Each girl's gaze sharpened as it swept across Issei's harem, the air between the two groups thick enough to cut with a knife.

Sona's gaze lingered longer than most on Run and Nyaruko's brazen posturing. Their spoiled refusal to move, their possessive grips, their blatant competition for Issei's attention… it was ridiculous, yet it gave credence to the claim that these girls had indeed come here to be his wives. No other explanation could account for such shameless behavior.

The heiress sighed quietly through her nose before setting her pen down with deliberate care. "Very well. Let us begin." Her voice was calm, crisp, and measured.

She folded her hands in her lap and inclined her head ever so slightly. "My true name is Sona Sitri. Heiress of the Sitri Clan. Student council president of this academy. And a devil."

Her words hung in the air, her gaze carefully sliding from one strange girl to the next. She studied them intently, waiting for some flicker of recognition or surprise. But to her subtle irritation, none of them reacted strongly. Some blinked, others tilted their heads in idle curiosity, but none looked shocked.

With a faint frown, Sona gestured behind her. "This is my peerage. My Queen Shinra Tsubaki, and my Rook Tsubasa Yura, my Bishops Momo Hanakai and Reya Kusaka, my Knight Tomoe Meguri, and my Pawn Ruruko Nimura." One by one, the council members gave slight bows of acknowledgement, their eyes never leaving Issei's group.

Lala was the first to break the silence, raising her hand to ask a question. "Excuse me… but are you truly devils? You look no different than ordinary humans."

The Sitri peerage bristled, but Sona raised a hand to silence them. Before she could reply, Evangeline smirked, her eyes narrowing with amusement. "And why this obsession with chess metaphors? Queen, Rook, Bishop, Pawn… What's the point of such theatrics?"

Sona adjusted her glasses, her expression impassive. "Very well. If words are not enough, then proof."

At once, Sona's back split open to reveal a pair of elegant, leathery wings. Her peerage followed suit in perfect unison, wings of varying shapes and sizes unfolding behind them.

The atmosphere in the room shifted palpably.

"There," Sona said evenly. "You wished to see devils. Now you have."

A murmur rippled through the newcomers.

Furina's mismatched eyes widened slightly before she crossed her arms, trying to mask her awe. "Hmph. Interesting. I suppose that's one way to keep mortals entertained."

Karura tilted her head, her golden pupils flickering with interest. "So they really are another race. I expected… more menace."

Run smirked faintly, leaning on Issei's shoulder. "Still not impressed."

Lala blinked, utterly fascinated. "So subtle… demons who live like humans. How strange."

Sona's gaze sharpened, her patience already strained. She continued regardless, her voice measured. "We devils are not what the myths make us out to be. In truth, we are an endangered species with our population having dwindled with our birth rates being alarmingly low."

The room quieted at that revelation.

"To preserve our race, a system was devised. A set of fifteen chess pieces, known as the Evil Pieces, are given to High-class Devils. With them, we may reincarnate other beings into devils, expanding our ranks and preserving our existence. The girls behind me," She gestured to her peerage, "were once human. For one reason or another, they accepted to be reincarnated and now they stand as part of my family, power and my responsibility."

The Sitri peerage straightened at her words, their pride evident even in their silence.

Across from Sona, the newcomers exchanged glances, their reactions spilling out in a mess of contrasting voices.

Karura's lips curled downward, her arms folding tightly across her chest. "Hmph. Reincarnating into another race? Only weaklings would choose such an option." Her golden pupils glimmered with disdain. "If you can't survive as you are, then you don't deserve to continue. It's as simple as that."

Her blunt words made several of Sona's peerage tense immediately. Tomoe leaned forward slightly, fists clenching, while Ruruko's eyes narrowed.

Before anyone could snap back, Furina raised a hand dramatically, her mismatched eyes shimmering as she pressed the back of her glove to her forehead like a stage actress. "Oh, the tragedy! To sell away your humanity, your true essence, for power. How dreadful! How utterly heartbreaking! Are you even yourselves anymore, or hollow echoes bound in service?"

Sona's glasses glinted as she suppressed the urge to pinch the bridge of her nose.

And then—of course—Nyaruko popped up like an overeager child in class, waving her hand. "Ooh, ooh, I've got a question! Why are you so uncreative with your name? 'Souna Shitori' to 'Sona Sitri'? That's, like, barely even trying. Did you just roll letters around until they looked cooler?"

"Nyaruko…" Issei groaned, burying his face in his hands. Why does she always do this at the worst possible time?!

Sona's jaw tightened, the faintest twitch betraying her irritation. But she exhaled slowly and made the choice to simply ignore the cosmic gremlin. Instead, she turned her gaze deliberately toward Evangeline, who had been leaning back with sharp curiosity gleaming in her blue eyes.

"You claim your people reincarnate others," The vampire said, her voice smooth and aristocratic. "Very well. Then tell me the benefits. And the price. What does one gain… and what does one lose?"

At that, Sona adjusted her glasses and spoke in her calm, even tone, as though reciting from a practiced script. "The benefits of becoming a devil are numerous from an extended lifespan of 10,000 years that borders on immortality, greater magical power, a body that is strengthened and refined. You gain territory, influence, and protection under your King. And with that, if you raise up the social hierarchy, power, both personal and political."

She paused, letting her words hang before she continued, her tone softening but firm. "But there are drawbacks. A reincarnated devil is bound to the one who remade them. Loyalty is expected. Disobedience has consequences."

Her peerage behind her straightened subtly at those words, their expressions unreadable.

"And there are weaknesses," Sona added. "Holy artifacts and blessings can wound us far more than they should. Angels, church exorcists, even gods of other faiths—they despise or distrust us. We live with that hostility, always."

The room was heavy with her explanation, the atmosphere thick with the weight of her honesty.

Kaguya, seated primly beside Issei, let out a sharp, disdainful laugh behind her fan. "So in truth, reincarnated devils are nothing but glorified slaves. Shackled to their master, hated by the world and living only by borrowed grace. How… pitiful." Her words landed like a whip crack.

The effect was immediate. Tomoe's fists slammed onto her knees, her eyes blazing. "What did you just say?!"

Ruruko flushed with anger, stepping forward before being halted by Reya's hand. "We chose this! You think you can sit there and call us slaves?"

Even calm Tsubaki's eyes narrowed, her lips pressed into a thin, hard line.

The air between the two groups shifted, hostility sparking like static.

Just as Sona was about to draw breath to rein in her angered peerage, another voice cut through the room.

"That's enough." Issei's voice wasn't loud, but it carried. His tone lacked its usual sheepishness—there was a firmness that made even Nyaruko blink in surprise.

He leaned forward, his elbows on his knees, staring at the girls beside him and those standing behind him. "That's enough. You don't know why they became devils. You don't know what choices they had… or didn't have. Judging them like that without knowing anything? That's wrong."

His gaze moved across them—Kaguya's haughty crimson eyes, Evangeline's amused smirk, Karura's scowling defiance. "If they agreed to it, then there must have been a good reason. I don't want to hear any more insults."

The weight of his words settled heavily in the room. His harem shifted uneasily under his firm gaze.

"And more than that," Issei added, scratching the back of his head, but keeping his tone sharp, "You need to apologize. You were being rude."

For a moment, silence.

Kaguya snapped her fan shut with a pout, turning her face aside. "Hmph. Very well, I will remain silent on the matter."

Evangeline arched a brow, lips curling in a faint smile, but said nothing further. Karura crossed her arms, muttering under her breath, clearly displeased but restraining herself.

But Nyaruko, Run, and Furina shifted uncomfortably under his look.

Nyaruko pouted, but mumbled out, "S-Sorry…" Still clinging to Issei's arm.

Run flicked her green hair with a reluctant smile. "Fine. I apologize. But only because you asked, Darling."

Furina placed a hand over her chest with theatrical flourish, her mismatched eyes shimmering. "Very well, I apologize. It was not my intention to wound such… fragile souls." She sighed dramatically, as though the act itself was a performance.

Priscilla stood tall, serene, silent—her composure unchanged. Lala simply blinked, not moving an inch. Neither had spoken rudely to begin with.

Issei exhaled, running his hand down his face. He turned toward Sona and her peerage, bowing his head slightly. "I'm sorry about what they said. They didn't mean to insult you personally. We're still… figuring things out. But I'll make sure they understand."

The tension in the room eased. Sona's peerage glanced at each other, some still bristling, but their expressions softened as their eyes shifted back to Issei. Even Tomoe, whose fists were clenched tight, let out a small huff and relaxed her posture.

Sona herself adjusted her glasses, her sharp gaze lingering on Issei longer than before. 'So he isn't just hiding behind them… He's willing to stand up to them, too.'

When Issei straightened again, he rubbed his neck awkwardly, his usual sheepishness returning. "Uh, anyway… I guess we should properly introduce ourselves. Though I doubt you need me to say my name." He gave a small laugh. "I'm Hyoudou Issei."

He gestured around the room, moving from one girl to the next. "This is Nyaruko, Kaguya, Evangeline, Priscilla, Lala, Karura, Run… and Furina."

At the very end, Furina puffed up, her lips curling in an exaggerated pout. "Why am I introduced last?! Do you not see the brilliance before you? Surely I should be in the spotlight!"

Issei groaned, muttering under his breath, "Furina its not that big of a deal."

The others snickered, and even Sona's peerage let out faint smiles at the small comedic display.

Sona folded her hands neatly on her lap, her violet eyes sharpening behind her glasses. When she spoke next, her tone was cool and precise with every word measured.

"I believe it is about time we move past introductions," She said, gaze sweeping across Issei and the women gathered around him. "Let us speak of why you are truly here. Hyoudou Issei…" her eyes flickered toward him before drifting deliberately across his harem, "…and all of you. What are your intentions in my territory?"

Issei opened his mouth, fumbling for words, but Kaguya raised her hand and stepped in without hesitation, her crimson eyes gleaming with authority.

"As I have stated once before," She said smoothly, "the truth is simple: for reasons unknown to us, Issei was chosen by destiny to be our husband. We heard the call, and we came to him from all across the world. And now we are bound to him as his wives. "

Her words rang with practiced poise, confident and unquestionable with many girls nodding along.

Sona's expression didn't change, but the faint narrowing of her eyes betrayed her doubt. "Chosen by destiny? That is not an explanation."

"Perhaps not," Kaguya admitted, her lips curling into a smug smile. "Even I cannot say who or what issued that call. It may have been a god. It may have been something else entirely. But it matters little. We all heard it, and we all came. That is the truth."

Murmurs rippled behind Sona as her peerage shifted uncomfortably, exchanging wary glances.

"You expect me to believe that?" Sona's voice tightened, her frown deepening. "That a gathering of monsters and strange women simply… wandered here because of a vague 'destiny'? You are clearly lying to me."

Issei flinched as her words cut across the room like a blade.

But before he could intervene, Evangeline leaned forward, her blue eyes glinting, her lips twisting into a sharp smile. "Does it even matter if you believe us?" Her voice was calm, yet every syllable dripped with mockery. "We are here. And there is nothing you can do to change that."

Her words fell like lead into the room. Tsubasa tensed, fists clenching. Tomoe shifted forward, glaring. Even the calm Tsubaki looked unsettled at Evangeline's brazenness.

Issei quickly raised his hands, his voice breaking through the tension. "Hey, hey! That's enough!" His chest tightened as he looked between Sona's peerage and his harem, the tension threatening to snap into violence at any moment. "Listen… I can't explain everything. I really can't."

He paused, drawing in a breath, then looked directly at Sona. "But I promise you—we're not planning anything shady. We're not plotting against you, your people, or anyone else. We just… want to live our lives here. That's all."

The room was quiet. Too quiet. Sona's violet eyes locked with his, searching for weakness, for deceit. For a long moment, she found only the nervous but steady resolve in his face.

Her lips pressed together into a thin line, and at last she leaned back in her seat. "…Very well. If you are lying, I will find out. If you are hiding something, I will uncover it."

Her thoughts whispered as her gaze lingered on him. 'They are hiding something. But he does believe his own words. I will not let this go. Not until I understand what is truly going on.'

The tension in the air eased, just slightly, as Sona adjusted her glasses. "Then let us move on. I have another matter to address."

Her eyes turned sharply, not toward Issei this time, but toward the maid standing dutifully at his side. Kalawarna straightened, her golden eyes calm but alert under the scrutiny of the Devil heiress.

"You," Sona said, her voice cool. "The fallen from last night. I have many questions for you."

Kalawarna inclined her head gracefully, her tone deferential but firm. "Ask what you will. I will answer honestly… so long as it does not go against the wishes of my Master."

Sona's sharp eyes glinted behind her glasses as she leaned slightly forward, her focus drilling into the maid who stood with her hands folded neatly before her. "You call Hyoudou Issei 'Master' so easily. It seems your allegiance has shifted rather quickly."

Kalawarna did not flinch. Her golden eyes were calm, her voice even. "Not shifted, corrected. I have learned the errors of my ways. Returning to the Grigori was… unlikely. I doubted they would ever accept me again."

Sona's brow furrowed. "Why?"

Kalawarna exhaled slowly, her expression dipping into something more solemn. "Because our mission was simple, observe Hyoudou Issei. Nothing more. Yet my group and I disobeyed those orders. We acted of our own accord, and in doing so, we made ourselves rogues."

A ripple of unease stirred through Sona's peerage. Tsubaki's eyes narrowed faintly, while Tomoe let out a sharp breath.

"And what," Sona pressed, her voice clipped, "was your plan? What did you intend to do, acting without your superiors' approval?"

Kalawarna lowered her head just slightly, the lamplight gleaming off her blue hair. "We sought to steal Sacred Gears from humans. Quietly without drawing attention. That was our purpose. Our failure, however…" Her gaze flicked briefly toward Issei, then back to Sona. "…speaks for itself. We were defeated and I was captured. And to escape death, I begged to be pardoned by my Master."

Her voice grew firmer, conviction steady as her eyes turned toward Issei, then the gathered women behind him. "And by his mercy, I was granted not only life, but the chance to serve faithfully—him and his mistresses. That is the oath I now live by."

The silence that followed was heavy. Sona's peerage exchanged wary looks. Reya shifted uneasily, her lips parting as if to speak, but she remained quiet.

Sona, however, did not let her cool mask slip. She adjusted her glasses, her voice lowering. "So your actions were not sanctioned by the Grigori."

"That is correct," Kalawarna affirmed.

"And yet you expect me to believe this was not an attempt by the Fallen to reignite conflict? To spark another war?"

Kalawarna shook her head firmly. "No. That was never our intention. Our goal was selfish, not strategic. The Grigori did not send us to provoke war. Our failures were our own."

Sona studied her carefully, her silence stretching, her thoughts hidden behind the glint of her glasses. At last, she gave a short nod. "Very well. Your words are noted."

Her gaze shifted then, sliding past Kalawarna to the boy at the center of the storm. "Hyoudou Issei. Then what of the angel that Reya saw last night? Why is she here?"

Issei blinked, mouth opening before closing again. Wait—angel? She means—

Before he could stammer an answer, Evangeline herself chuckled darkly, rising from the sofa with a grace that chilled the air. "You are mistaken, little heiress. She is mine."

Sona's brow furrowed. "Yours?"

Evangeline's crimson eyes glowed faintly as she gestured toward the quiet, watchful woman at her side. "That angel is my servant—my personal attendant. She came with me by her own choice. She does not belong to the Heaven faction, nor does she serve God or any choir."

The room froze.

Sona's peerage shifted, confusion flashing across their faces. "…Then why," Sona said carefully, her tone tightening, "has she not fallen? Why are her wings white, unlike the fallen who serves Hyoudou Issei?"

Her words cut the air like a blade, the unspoken accusation lingering between them an angel who had stray was meant to fall. That was the law of their existence. And yet they had one that defied that truth.

Issei swallowed hard, his mind spinning. 'Crap… how are we supposed to explain that?!'

Evangeline only smirked wider, her lips curving into something sharp and amused. "Oh, little devil, there are so many things in this world that your kind has yet to understand. Perhaps she is simply proof of that."

Sona's frown lingered, but after a steady breath she pressed her lips into a thin line. 'This group will not answer directly. They will twist words, smirk, or remain silent. Pushing further will yield nothing.'

Her sharp violet eyes turned back to Issei. "Then let us move on. Hyoudou Issei… what Sacred Gear do you possess that caused such disruption in the first place?"

Issei blinked, then let out a relieved laugh, scratching the back of his head. "Oh, that's easy! At least this I can show you."

He raised his left arm, and with a flash of red light, the Boosted Gear materialized. The dragon's gem embedded at the center as the gauntlet glowed faintly, its power pulsing through the room. The leather sofa groaned under the sudden weight of the aura, and even Sona's peerage involuntarily stiffened.

Sona's eyes widened behind her glasses, her composed mask cracking for the first time. "That's—" Her words caught in her throat. 'Impossible. One of the Thirteen Longinus… in this boy's hand.' Her mind raced. 'The Red Dragon Emperor here… the power to rival gods themselves…' Questions flooded her thoughts, each more troubling than the last.

Across the room, her peerage looked between each other in confusion. Tomoe tilted her head, frowning. "President? What's the big deal? It's just a regular Sacred Gear, isn't it?"

"Yeah," Tsubasa muttered, scratching her cheek. "Looks flashy, but…"

"More than flashy," Momo whispered, her eyes darting between Issei and Sona's pale expression.

Sona inhaled slowly, regaining her composure before her peerage could panic at her silence. She pushed her glasses higher. "That gauntlet is not 'just flashy.' It is one of the Thirteen Longinus. Sacred Gears that are so powerful they can kill gods. What Hyoudou Issei holds is the Boosted Gear, the embodiment of the Red Dragon Emperor, Ddraig."

Gasps rippled through the council. Reya clutched her chest, stunned, while Ruruko's eyes widened in shock. Even stoic Tsubaki's eyes flickered with disbelief.

On the opposite sofa, Kaguya's lips curved upward into a triumphant smirk behind her fan. She turned her crimson gaze toward the devils, her voice smooth but sharp. "So, you understand. Even devils lesser than us know their place, for my husband's destiny far surpasses yours. Remember this well—he is no ordinary mortal. He is chosen for greater things in this world."

Sona's mouth tightened at the smug barb, but she refrained from retorting. Instead, she steadied herself and made a decision. 'It is a long shot… but if he accepts…'

She folded her hands in her lap and addressed Issei directly. "Hyoudou Issei. With such power, I ask you plainly: would you consider becoming a devil? To join my family, and stand among us?"

The room exploded in reactions before Issei could even blink.

Kaguya shot to her feet, her aura flaring crimson as her fan snapped open with a crack. "How dare you! You presume to offer chains to my husband? To shackle him under you? His destiny is greater than servitude to devils!"

All the other girls were also angry and were also to the point of shouting but Kaguya beat them to it.

"Easy, easy!" Issei yelped, raising his free hand, his face red with panic. "I-I didn't even say anything yet!"

But when his thoughts caught up to the question, his brow furrowed in confusion. "Uh… I mean… thanks, I guess? But no, I'm not interested in being a devil. I just… want to be me."

The simplicity of his answer silenced the room.

Sona stared at him a moment longer, then exhaled through her nose, her shoulders relaxing. "I expected as much. Still, I had to try." She adjusted her glasses once more, her mask of calm composure returning. She didn't even glance at the other women; their hostility already told her their answers.

The tension in the room slowly ebbed as Issei let the Boosted Gear fade into light once more. He shifted on the sofa, scratching his cheek nervously. Then, after a moment, he leaned forward, looking directly at Sona.

"…President. Could I… ask you for a favor?"

Sona tilted her head slightly, her peerage instinctively stiffening behind her at the word. Her eyes sharpened, curious and cautious all at once. "…A favor?"

Issei nodded, his usual awkward grin tugging at his lips, though his eyes were steady. "Yeah. Just hear me out first." Then he leaned forward, his expression soft but serious.

"…President," He said carefully, "Could you… allow some of the girls to enroll at Kuoh?"

The effect was immediate. His harem turned to stare at him in surprise.

"What?!" Nyaruko shot up, eyes sparkling like a child on Christmas morning. "Darling, does that mean we can go to school together? Walk the halls hand-in-hand, share lunches, sneak kisses behind the gym—oh, oh, oh, this is perfect!"

Run perked up too, her pink eyes shining with delight. "So it'll be a proper high school romance then? Sitting next to you in class, watching you practice, maybe waiting for you after school… Darling, you're finally thinking like a true boyfriend!" She leaned against him with a bright grin, practically glowing.

Issei laughed nervously, scratching his cheek. "W-Well, I just thought… you know, you should all enjoy your youth too. This is still a school, after all. Having fun, making memories, not just… staying locked up all the time."

But not everyone shared Nyaruko and Run's excitement.

Priscilla tilted her head, her golden-green eyes narrowing thoughtfully. "It is not a priority for me. School life is… unnecessary."

Karura folded her arms, her golden pupils flickering. "Hmph. Sitting in classrooms won't make me stronger. I'll pass."

Furina gave a dramatic sigh, twirling a strand of her cyan-green hair. "Me? In a school again? Surrounded by mortals who could never understand my brilliance? Hmph, still… if it means staying close to my husband, perhaps I'll grace them with my presence."

Lala simply blinked, her head balanced carefully in her hands. "I have no objections… but human schools sound strange."

But it was Evangeline who cut across them sharply, her blue eyes narrowing. "Absolutely not." She leaned back with her arms crossed, her expression hard. "I will never set foot in a school again. After decades trapped in that cage, forced to play the role of a student… I won't waste my freedom repeating that prison."

Her words struck the air like frost.

Issei blinked, startled by the intensity in her tone. He wanted to ask, but the look on her face stopped him cold.

Sona, however, noticed. Her violet eyes flicked toward Evangeline, narrowing as she pushed her glasses up the bridge of her nose. Trapped? Decades? Another puzzle piece she couldn't yet place—but she tucked the words away, determined to recall them later.

After a pause, Sona's lips curved faintly. "Very well. If this is your request, Hyoudou, then I will allow it. However—do not expect the favor to come cheaply."

Issei nodded quickly. "That's fair. I'll have to ask the others first anyway, see who's actually interested. I'll give you an answer tomorrow."

Sona's sharp mind caught the slip instantly. 'Others? There are more.' Her eyes narrowed further. 'So this isn't all of them. He has more wives that we have not yet seen.'

Aloud, Sona then said, "Then understand this. The number you bring will determine the number of favors I will demand. And I will not allow any among them who might cause disruption or chaos."

Before Issei could respond, Kaguya scoffed, snapping her fan open with an imperious flick. "You should be grateful we have not already taken this territory by force. To quibble over enrollment like this… how pitiful."

The tension spiked again, but Issei quickly waved his hands frantically, his voice desperate. "D-Don't listen to her! Kaguya just… gets carried away sometimes. I promise, anyone who joins won't cause trouble. They'll be on their best behavior. I'll make sure of it."

Sona studied him for a long moment, her gaze cool and measuring. At last, she exhaled softly, her voice calm but edged. "…Very well. I'll hold you to that promise, Hyoudou Issei."

Her peerage shifted uneasily behind her, clearly unconvinced, but Sona's eyes never left his.

Issei swallowed hard, sitting a little straighter under her scrutiny. 'Man… what have I just signed myself up for…?'

Sona then adjusted her glasses, violet eyes flicking once more across the bizarre collection of women at his side. So many questions swirled in her mind, about their origins, their powers, to their identity but she knew pushing further would yield nothing. Not today.

"…That will be all for now," She said at last, her voice calm but edged with quiet irritation. "You may go."

Issei let out a sheepish laugh, scratching the back of his head. "Hehe… sorry, President. I know this didn't exactly answer your questions. But I swear, we're not here to cause problems."

"See that you don't," Sona said firmly, her gaze sharp as a knife.

Rising from the sofa, Issei gestured for his companions to follow. Nyaruko and Run hopped off his lap, though not without playful pouts and the whole entourage filed toward the door. Kalawarna bowed politely before stepping after her Master. The door closed behind them with a heavy thud, leaving the office in tense silence.

For a long moment, no one spoke. Then Tsubaki broke the quiet. "President… Will that group be trouble?"

Sona's hands folded tightly atop her desk, her lips pressing into a thin line. "…I don't know." Her voice was low, almost reluctant. "But I worry."

The peerage shifted uneasily. Reya clasped her hands in front of her chest, while Tomoe leaned forward, frowning.

Tsubaki's calm voice carried again, but with a slight edge. "Shall I contact Serafall-sama? If you request her involvement, she will certainly—"

"No." Sona's tone cracked like a whip, her violet eyes flashing as she looked sharply at her Queen. "I will not call my sister. I will resolve this myself."

Her peerage stiffened at the vehemence in her voice.

After a beat, Tsubasa cleared her throat, her usual bluntness cutting through. "Then what should we do in the meantime? Sit and watch while they strut around our territory?"

Sona exhaled slowly, gathering herself before answering. "…When those new students enroll at Kuoh, I want you to befriend them. Smile. Be welcoming. Gain their trust. If they let anything slip about their origins, their powers, their true purpose, I want to know it. If there are cracks in their story, we will find them."

Her words hung heavy, her tone decisive.

Momo and Reya exchanged glances, hesitant but obedient. Ruruko straightened nervously, nodding. Tomoe gave a sharp nod, clearly eager to act.

Tsubaki's gaze lingered on her King, studying her carefully. "…And what of Rias? Should we inform her of this situation?"

Sona's lips pressed into a harder line. She turned her eyes toward the window, the glow of the evening casting long shadows across her glasses. "…No. Not yet. If Rias hears of this, her pride will be stoked. She may act rashly, and the consequences could fracture more than just her authority. Until I understand them… this stays between us."

The office fell into a hushed silence once more. Her peerage stood tall, obedient but uneasy.

Sona's hands tightened against her desk. 'Hyoudou Issei… and his strange harem. This is a mystery I will unravel… even if it's the last thing I do.'

—-----------------------------------------------

The evening air of Kuoh was calm with the streets lit with the warm glow of streetlamps as Issei and his unusual entourage made their way back to the castle. The faint buzz of cicadas filled the quiet, and every passerby they encountered gave them a wide berth—unable to explain why this mismatched group felt so… unnatural.

Issei walked at the front, his hands stuffed awkwardly into his pockets, while behind him his wives debated animatedly.

"I'm not going," Lala said flatly, adjusting the scarf around her neck with one hand. "Schooling has no appeal to me. Watching mortals pretend their lives have meaning? Boring."

Priscilla nodded with serene agreement, her golden-green eyes calm. "I will not waste my time in classrooms either. My duty is to protect and guide. I have no use for lectures."

Evangeline smirked, her blue eyes glittering as her lips curled. "As if I'd ever set foot in a school again. After finally being free, I won't put on a uniform and sit at a desk like some prisoner. Absolutely not."

Kaguya scoffed, fanning herself as she walked with her chin high. "And why should I, a royal, humble myself among commoners? Such humiliation would tarnish my name. Let the others play as students if they must."

Karura snorted, folding her arms. "Tch. Schools are dens for weakling. I'd rather spend my time training and am not interested."

Furina threw her arms out dramatically, her mismatched eyes sparkling in the lamplight. "Me, trapped in classrooms filled with dull mortals? I am the star of the stage! No audience there could ever appreciate me!" She spun on her heel, sighing dramatically. "No. I decline."

One by one, the refusals piled up.

And then came the shrill voice of excitement that pierced the quiet.

"Of course I'm going!" Nyaruko shouted, practically bouncing along the sidewalk. "Darling and me in school uniforms, passing notes in class, sneaking kisses during lunch break—it's everything I've dreamed of!" She clung tighter to Issei's arm, her grin stretching wide.

"Don't think you'll have him all to yourself," Run chimed in with a mischievous smirk. "I'm going too. And unlike you, I'll make sure our high school romance is perfect—walking to school together, studying late nights, sharing umbrellas when it rains. It'll be adorable, Darling." She pressed against his other arm, eyes flashing as she glared at Nyaruko.

The two women's glares clashed like thunder, both pulling Issei's arms tighter until his shoulders ached.

"H-Hey! Ease up! You're gonna pull my arms out of their sockets!" Issei whined, trying to wriggle free.

He sighed as they bickered, muttering under his breath, 'Man… I wonder what Shiraori, Henrietta, and Yukina are gonna say about all this. They haven't even spoken up yet.'

Behind the group, Evangeline's smirk faded into a thoughtful frown. She crossed her arms, her blue gaze drifting toward Issei's back. "…Enough nonsense. Now that your little meeting with the devils is over, it's time to think seriously. We need to begin your training again."

That made several heads turn.

"Training?" Karura's golden pupils lit up instantly. "What kind of training? Fighting? Combat drills?" A sharp grin spread across her face. "Finally, something useful. Tell me when we start, husband. And after training… we can begin making children."

Issei stumbled over his own feet, nearly face-planting onto the sidewalk. His face turned bright red. "W-Wha—don't say that out loud! We're in public!"

Several heads turned as passing pedestrians gave him bewildered looks before quickly scurrying away. Issei groaned into his hands. 'Great. Now the whole town thinks I'm a weirdo.'

Priscilla, walking calmly beside them, inclined her head. "I agree with training. But before that… perhaps a date." She glanced at Issei, her gaze steady but not unkind. "The others deserve their moments too."

"Yes!" Nyaruko jumped in, pumping her fist into the air. "Dates first! Training later! Darling, you owe me a date after all the drama we've been through!"

"Correction—you owe me a date," Run interjected, flipping her hair with a smug grin. "After all, I kissed you first."

Issei turned beet red. "S-Stop bringing that up!"

Meanwhile, Furina twirled on her heel, her ponytail swaying dramatically. "Ugh, so dull! Walking through streets, talking about dates… I need something exciting! A grand performance, a stage, fireworks—anything! When will this world give me something worthy of my brilliance?"

Lala tilted her head, her expression calm but her tone carrying an odd excitement. "I agree with Furina. This world is different from mine… so different. If it hides devils, angels, and more, then surely there must be thrilling battles to experience. I want to see it."

Issei rubbed his temple, his patience fraying. "Look, look! We'll figure it all out later, okay? Training, dates, performances, whatever. Right now, let's just get home. I've had enough near heart attacks for one day."

The group fell into uneasy laughter and bickering again, their voices echoing down the quiet Kuoh streets.

—------------------------------------

By the time the group reached the run down church, the familiar silhouette looming against the sky, Issei felt the weight of the day pressing down on his shoulders. 'Finally home… maybe I'll get five minutes of peace before trouble starts.'

But peace was the last thing waiting for him.

As the heavy doors swung open, the sight that greeted them made everyone stop in their tracks.

The throne room was no longer the barren, echoing hall it had been. Bright, silken curtains cascaded from the walls and ceiling like waterfalls. Soft carpets and thick rugs muffled their steps. Cushions and pillows of varying sizes lay scattered across the floor, with sofas and low seats arranged in clusters. Blankets of shimmering white and pale gold folded neatly across the armrests.

It looked less like a throne room and more like an opulent lounging hall, warm and inviting.

"Eh…?" Issei blinked dumbly, scratching his cheek. "Where the hell did all this come from?!"

The girls looked around, equally stunned.

Priscilla folded her arms, her golden-green eyes narrowing. "These furnishings were not here when we left."

Lala lifted her head from her arms, tilting it at the silken curtains. "Strange… such fine material. Where was it obtained?"

Immediately, everyone turned their eyes toward Nyaruko, suspicion in their stares.

Nyaruko pointed to herself in mock shock. "What? Me?!" She puffed her cheeks indignantly. "Don't look at me like that! I've been with you the whole time, remember? I didn't sneak back to redecorate our castle!"

Issei rubbed his temple, already feeling a headache forming. "Okay… if it wasn't you, then who—"

The sound of soft footsteps interrupted him. From the far side of the room, Raynare appeared, her maid uniform pristine, her violet eyes calm as she bowed gracefully. "Welcome home, Master. Mistresses."

Issei blinked, relief flooding through him. "Raynare! Great timing. What's going on? Where did all this come from?" He gestured at the transformed room, cushions and curtains practically glowing under the torchlight.

Raynare straightened smoothly, her voice composed. "These were the creations of Mistress Shiraori. With her ability to produce silk, she wove and crafted these furnishings herself. Lady Yukina, Lady Henrietta, and I did our best to place each piece in its proper room."

Everyone then felt a presence and turned at once toward Shiraori, who was seated in the corner silently, her crimson, many-pupiled eyes t. Her delicate hands twisted the hem of her sleeve as she tilted her head faintly.

"…So you can do this too?" Issei muttered, his jaw slack.

Kaguya quickly spoke and broke the silence. "Hmph. Impressive. Quick thinking, and well executed. This castle did look rather plain before. Its creator may have had strength, but taste in decoration? Hardly." She cast a pointed glance toward Evangeline, her lips curving in a smug smile.

Evangeline froze. Her blue eyes narrowed, and the smirk that curled across her lips was sharp and venomous. "Excuse me?" Her voice was low, dangerous. "Creating this place took hard work, princess. Without me, you'd be squatting in ruins. You think you could have done better?"

Kaguya's fan closed with a sharp clack. "Undoubtedly."

The atmosphere in the throne room darkened instantly. Sparks practically flew between the vampire and the empress as their glares locked, both women unwilling to yield an inch.

"Uh oh…" Nyaruko whispered with a grin, nudging Run. "Catfight incoming. Place your bets!"

Run smirked. "Kaguya has the height advantage. But Evangeline's got bite."

Issei groaned, stepping between the two women before it could escalate further. He raised his hands, placing one gently atop each of their heads, pressing down just enough to ease the rising tension.

"Alright, alright! That's enough!" He said, his tone firm despite the nervous sweat dripping down his face. "Both of you shouldn't fight. And Evangeline, thanks for building this place in the first place. So can we please not fight?!"

Both women pouted in unison—Kaguya averting her gaze with a huff, Evangeline folding her arms with a sharp "tch." But neither pressed the matter further.

Issei let out a shaky sigh, glancing around at the silken paradise the throne room had become. He turned toward Shiraori, who still sat quietly, watching him with those unsettling, unblinking eyes. He smiled sheepishly, scratching his cheek. "Uh… thanks. It looks amazing."

The faintest flicker of a smile touched her lips, barely there before fading back into her calm silence.

But then two figures stepped into the hall, carrying with them the faint aroma of freshly cooked food.

Henrietta appeared first, but gone was her layered, puffy royal gown. Instead, she wore a modest blouse and skirt of soft ivory and navy, her hair tied back simply, giving her a far more approachable air. Walking beside her was Yukina, no longer in her cyan kimono but in a plain but elegant dress, the fabric light and practical while still complementing her gentle form.

Issei blinked in surprise, his mouth opening slightly. "Whoa… Henrietta, Yukina… you two look amazing."

Henrietta, graceful as ever, gave a small curtsy, though a faint blush touched her cheeks. "I am glad you approve, Sir Issei. These clothes are… far easier to move in. Less weight to carry than my gowns."

Yukina, however, froze under his words, her pale face quickly heating as she fidgeted with her sleeve. "…T-Thank you…" She murmured, her crimson eyes darting away as though his compliment burned.

Nyaruko leaned in with a sly grin. "Ooooh, Darling's turning the shy ones red now. Guess we know who's weak to a little praise."

Run smirked, folding her arms. "Compliments are cheap. A real husband proves his love through dates."

Issei's face went red. "H-Hey! I was just being honest!"

But curiosity soon replaced his embarrassment as his gaze lingered on their outfits. "Wait a sec… where did you even get those clothes?"

Henrietta smiled warmly, her hands smoothing down her skirt. "Lady Shiraori provided them. She fashioned these garments herself. They are quite comfortable, and the quality is remarkable."

Yukina nodded shyly in agreement. "They're… very soft."

Issei turned toward Shiraori, who sat silently in her corner, her many-pupiled eyes watching. He rubbed his neck sheepishly. "Man, Shiraori, you've really been going above and beyond. First the furniture, now clothes? You're like our tailor, decorator, and interior designer rolled into one."

Shiraori tilted her head slightly, her expression unreadable. A faint, almost imperceptible hum left her lips—whether acknowledgment or dismissal, it was hard to say.

Before Issei could say more, Yukina and Henrietta both clasped their hands together, their expressions bright. "How did the meeting with the devils go?" Henrietta asked, her tone both curious and a little anxious.

Issei opened his mouth, ready to answer—

Grrrrrrrrr.

The sound was loud, unmistakable, and it came from Issei's stomach.

The boy froze, his face turning crimson as he laughed nervously, clutching at his gut. "Hahaha… I guess… I'm kinda starving."

Silence hung for a moment before Nyaruko burst into laughter, nearly falling over. "Pffft! Darling, you can't win against an empty belly!"

Karura smirked. "A warrior cannot fight on an empty stomach. Best we eat before anything else."

Evangeline pinched the bridge of her nose, muttering something about "idiot boys" under her breath.

But Henrietta and Yukina only smiled, their eyes kind. "Then it is fortunate," Henrietta said, "that Yukina and I have finished preparing dinner—with Raynare's help."

Raynare appeared again from the side hall, bowing in her maid uniform, her violet eyes calm. "The meal is ready, Master. Please, come to the dining hall. Everything has been arranged."

Issei's stomach growled again, even louder this time, betraying any attempt at composure. He raised his hands defensively. "O-Okay, okay, I get it! I'm hungry, alright!"

The girls chuckled among themselves, though even Kaguya's lips curved into the faintest amused smile behind her fan.

Henrietta clasped her hands gently. "Then let us eat together. You can tell us of your meeting as we dine."

Issei's shoulders relaxed as he let out a sigh of relief, a grin tugging at his lips. "Sounds perfect."

And with that, the group followed Henrietta, Yukina, and Raynare toward the dining hall, their voices mingling together—some teasing, some curious, some quietly thoughtful—as the scent of warm food grew stronger.

Finally done. Tell me what you think and if I made any mistakes. Which summons do you think will like to go to school? What favors will Sona ask of Issei? Like always this commission was brought to you by Deus Ex Mima. So be sure to thank him. Come show your support at my patreon.com/orengeflame. Also one extra chapter in patreon.

Uh, hey," Issei whispered nervously, tugging at his collar.

So, enjoying that harem life yet, Issei?

And then—of course—Nyaruko popped up like an overeager child in class, waving her hand. "Ooh, ooh, I've got a question! Why are you so uncreative with your name? 'Souna Shitori' to 'Sona Sitri'? That's, like, barely even trying. Did you just roll letters around until they looked cooler?"

And here, folks, we see a young Devil being mocked by a Cosmic Horror from Beyond the Stars for being uncreative.

Evangeline only smirked wider, her lips curving into something sharp and amused. "Oh, little devil, there are so many things in this world that your kind has yet to understand. Perhaps she is simply proof of that."

Evangeline: Get gud scrub.

Several heads turned as passing pedestrians gave him bewildered looks before quickly scurrying away. Issei groaned into his hands. 'Great. Now the whole town thinks I'm a weirdo.'

You mean they didn't already, Mr I-Will-be-the Harem-King?

Everyone then felt a presence and turned at once toward Shiraori, who was seated in the corner silently, her crimson, many-pupiled eyes t. Her delicate hands twisted the hem of her sleeve as she tilted her head faintly.

Shiraori: *Silent screaming in her head over being forced into social activity*

And with that part done, I will say the part about them discussing going to school or not on the way home felt out of place. It was too soon after the previous conversation and was mostly the same statements as before.

Thinking on it, Evangeline might have a way for issei to master and fully control juggernaut drive
But it would be a challenge for him to do it .
A form of Magia Erebea then there is the Pactio system which could work and if the dxd magician faction found out about the system would go mad for it and may lead to them trying to pay to learn that system.
Then there is the other magic systems as well

All right to answer your question about which summon would want to go to school?

Nyaruko: YES, why on earth would she pass up on a chance to live a high school romance?

Run: DOUBLE YES, she is going to have her romance and would have to be in a coma to pass this opportunity it's everything she dreamed for.

Evangeline: unfortunately she has been living high school life for way too long and its safe to say she got tired how it seemed to be repetitive granted she never was part of the class and was more or less a spectator in the grand scheme of things. Never really got close to people so that paints a tinted view of things. If were to go to school it would have to be "entertaining" and I am not sure Kuoh would be able to accomplish it since a lot of the action occurred outside it and all.

Kaguya:...it would depend if Kaguya would see Kuoh as a graceful place to attend and even then it would in a sense rankle her to have to obey the teachers and staff as a student let alone Sona who is the student council president, That is if they tried to boss her around. As for the other students......hard to say how they would view her.....in stereotypical high school animes Kaguya would be considered a Yamato Nadeshiko and be part of the tea ceremony club however....being Issei Fiancé would certainly make people question why she is engage with him and she can't exactly tell the real reason and that would make people look at her as if she had her head kicked by a horse.

Lala: sadly no, as much as it would be funny/interesting to have her there she ultimately would have to keep her "human" appearance up all the time so she would not want to attend.

Priscilla: Sadly no, she just would not be able to fit in.

Shiraori: no she would not survive, she doesn't really talk and being stuck in a high school? Having to talk to students and socialize? It would be suffering for her, sure she "lived" in a classroom but she never really had to talk to the teacher let alone the students. It would be mentally exhausting for her.

Henrietta de Tristain: surprisingly....yes, right now she is not a ruler of a nation but she is "henrietta" and she can experience a "normal" life and socialize with other people who don't need to be be careful how they act around her and she doesn't need to worry about causing political issues let alone political scandals. This would actually be a wonderful opportunity for her.

Furina De Fontaine: this is.....tricky on one hand she experienced being in a school and didn't quite had the most enjoyable time yet being in a school is a place where she can "thrive/enjoy" herself as it is a stage for youth trying to find out who they are. After all we know that she would be in drama club/Theater but it's a coin toss at the same time since she would have to deal with boring/annoying aspects of school as well......

Karura Kure: no, just no if Kuoh academy was a martial arts school like something from Ranma 1/2 where a buncch of martial artists gathered and all sorts of fighting in martial fights occurred then Karura would have a perfect attendance but here? No. she won't go.

Yukina: okay this one was....tricky to figure out. I suppose she would not mind going to school? looking at her bio and everything its hard to say since she never interacted much with other people besides the main and supporting cast but I suppose she would not mind since she would interact with others and not have to be cold as ice as her community is.

okay to answer your question, Sona first "favor" would probably be something safe/tame like hunting stay devils or so, just to get a vague idea of what Issei harem could do in a fight. Or at least see them in action. Not going to ask for a training session given how violet they can get *looking at Nyaruko and her bombs*. Sona second favor would probably be getting something that isn't easy to get, it won't be something impossible like Kaguya challenges she gave to her potential suitors but something that is difficult for some reason. Sona third favor would probably come in aid to defend Kuoh from an outside attack say like kokabiel and the whole Excalibur event (actually with Freed dead he's going to need to find another attack dog to get the pieces as well as you know fight for him.) Sona fourth favor could be either to help Rias with her situation (not sure how to be exact) or it could be something silly as needing a place to lie low since she is being hounded by her sister who wants to get affectionate with her. Another idea is Sona favor having someone from Issei harem be diplomat to whatever species they are from and try to deal with some matter that is occurring. (ex Evangeline going to talk/deal with say the Carmilla Faction)

does this help?

Honestly yes. Thank you

Will issei actually have sex with his harem?
Probably not at this moment for quite a while, lmao. He's still drenched in Devil politics and the inevitable rise of certain Serafall coming over if she feels Sona being threatened, meaning our guy might need to summon more waifus inevitably. Which again, needs more time fr.

Karura Kure: no, just no if Kuoh academy was a martial arts school like something from Ranma 1/2 where a buncch of martial artists gathered and all sorts of fighting in martial fights occurred then Karura would have a perfect attendance but here? No. she won't go
Karura literally went to a normal school, we were told so in the Kengan Ashura manga, and also to college in Kengan Omega, she should not have ANY problem with going to school. The Kures, in Canon literally have normal jobs and other occupations aside from being assassins.

I'm sorry, but just because she is from a fighting manga does not mean all she wants to do is fight or train. That is not her personality. Christ, she is actually one of the most chill people of the manga, I read the manga and she is an empathetic, and mostly cheerful girl. Aside from being crazy about making babies. For example she befriended an innocent girl and got angry when the girl's brother got almost killed.

I really think you all need to inform yourself more about the character's personality if you want to include them, because this does not feel like Karura. More like an OC with her looks.

Is that so? All right then though the current circumstances are not "normal" as she did learn the supernatural is real and that brings in a whole new perspective to things. Granted please feel free to PM the author to help him/her write the characters in character so they don't feel OOC.
