It was made worse because he only knew these 2 girls for like, a day or so, before he decide to kill their father.

I've spent a lot of time today reflecting on my resentment.

Now, as anyone familiar with my posting history knows, I'm not a violent person. I wouldn't call myself a pacifist, but I definitely do not choose actual violence unless it's absolutely necessary.

So the kind of revenge I contemplated was to eat a big meal of pickled eggs, stewed cabbage, and baked beans washed down with a tall glass of milk.

Let that digest a bit before going to the places full of people I resent are and just… hang out

I've heard of better board games than Monopoly—like Catan or Ticket to Ride—but I don't really have people to play them with. Kinda sucks when you want to play but can't.

If you have Steam, or possibly some other digital services, there are online versions of numerous board games.

I've become one of those people.

I was getting my rollergrill meal today and realized how I was preparing my hot dog:

Spread out the bun a bit, carefully so as to keep it together. Put in a thin layer of diced onions and pickles slices. The dog goes in at this point. Onto the dog first goes some hot sauce, then mustard, and then finished off with a layer of relish.
The hot dog itself is not visible and I've become adept at eating this thing without making a mess.

I properly realized what I was doing when I started contemplating going light on the relish and adding coleslaw to the dog as well.

This didn't happen all at once, this monstrosity has evolved over time. I've become jaded about hot dogs and had to make them more and more elaborate to maintain interest and be able to eat them.

I was expecting this to happen with my taste in porn, not food.

The flavor is complicated and distinct, doesn't properly blend together, if you're interested. Not bad, but it feels like it could be better

I kinda want to go there just because I haven't been in a long time.

Everything else is going badly, to say the least. I remember how just seeing the ocean out a bus window made me so happy I cried when I returned to Florida after the divorce.

Would the ocean make me feel better now?

Sadly there is no kimchi at Circle K. The only things I've yet to incorporate are salsa and sauerkraut. Salsa wouldn't fit and I think I'd need to rebuild my setup completely for the sauerkraut.

I was a banker. I know that means I kinda deserve to be an unsuccessful panhandler now but it's still a deeply unhappy and unhealthy life.

All the boys going on about Europa and their precious fucking ice wouldn't last one rotation on Io.
I flew drops and CSS (Close Space Support) on that hellhole for 20 cycles and I still get nightmares of colliding with all the hypersonic lava plumes I had to fly through. When top of the line Lunar made neuro implants don't do shit to bury the memory, THEN talk to me about how shit you had it on your tour...
It's worse than that time i had to escape a corporate work camp by hijacking one of their large construction mechs they reiftted with military grade weaoonry and avionics...

Dumb question: do you eat them or do you just kill them because they're horrible. If you eat them, how are they prepared? If you don't, kill a few for me.

First things first is that you pluck off all of their feathers and down (you have to do this properly or else you'll rip their skin clean off AND DON'T THROW AWAY THE DOWN FOR FUCK'S SAKE! Goose down is equal to gold if you know how to properly use it). Chop off the head and wings, open up the stomach cavity and start removing the organs (don't throw them away, you can still use them for fish bait and such).

Now, when you cook a Canadian Goose, you'll realize two things:

1. It's very greasy
2. The meat is very chewy.

I'll keep this recipe short and tasty.

Before you start, make a nice juice out of some oranges and limes, then add a whole head of garlic (minced), some heaps of Salt & Pepper. Once done, take your goose (if you left the skin on score it because we're going to rub the juice in there good). After that, pop it into your pot with a dripping rack and stuff it in the oven (same temp for a turkey). While that's cooking for the next few hours, roast some red bell peppers and season them with cracked black pepper. Once all done cooking, take out your goose and slice it up (I personally like mine in thick slices) and serve on some panbread/tortilla with your roasted peppers and you've got an explosion of flavor along side some crunch.

Enjoy. On that note, i think you can use the rub for a turkey too if your can't find a goose.

No, its very much legal and the federal license for migratory waterfowl (ducks, geese, etc.) is only $17.

Its swans in the UK that are protected as they're property of the Crown.

I'll be getting mine this summer.

Country of residence aside, I thought that, while still capable of aggression, swans were notably less aggressive than ducks and geese. Combined with their overall greater perceived elegance and aesthetics from human perspectives, they are more well looked upon in general.

Though their young are more weird looking, as that is the root of the whole "Ugly Duckling" story, how a strange-looking chick grows into the beautiful-looking swan instead of the other ducks.

And the whole thing gets weirder when you consider the thing about ducks and swans being different species such that they would barely interact anyway beyond being in similar territories. Courtesy of a quick web search, they apparently can interbreed, but they almost never produce viable offspring, and even if they did, said offspring would be sterile as a mule.

I guess it's like animal characteristics don't map to human morality very well. Who would have thought.

Just a curious question, but how do you search for fics/quests here on QQ?
 
If I'm looking for something specific, I just try searching for threads with that tag, then I look at thread titles to see if anything jumps out at me... or, f I'm not looking for anything specific, I go to the CW subforums and look at thread titles to see if anything jumps out at me (90% of the time nothing does). Then I try reading the first couple chapters (and 90% of the time, walk away and don't come back)

Most of the stuff I actually stick with gets recommended somewhere or quoted in the Questionable Quotes thread.
 
What do you call that feeling where you don't want to do something but feel when you don't even though said thing is completley my choice to make?
