Yeah, I love charred meat. I just try to avoid it when I can because it's bad for my health.

Not that I'm not tempted, mind you.
bits of meat, chicken or pork skewered alongside onion and pepper then cooked right over the embers of a small wood in the open, right under an open clear summer sky. 🥰

Perfection.

I've tried a new recipe this weekend, a fairly simple one, and in doing so, I also learned how to debone a chicken leg. So that's useful for future kitchen work. It was chicken legs in a bacon wrapping with a two-herbs marinade and carrot sticks simmered in butter and sugar. I'll post the recipe and instruction video for deboning later in the recipe thread, it's fairly good!

Hey everybody, Posting a question here since I don't want to make a topic about it.

Has anyone read A Young Girl's Place in the Sun Youjo Senki/Saga of Tanya the Evil fanfic on Spacebattles? I've just read chapter 12 and needless to say I am very much not happy with it. Which is a damn shame because the whole premise had me hooked on it. Spoilers ahead in case anyone wants to read it.

Later on in the story does Tanya ever catch on to her groups idiot ball moment regarding Jews? Not only is it just plain stupid when Tanya has put so much effort into stamping out racism and combine that with Tanya's misunderstanding field that seems so prevalent in fanfiction regarding her makes me fear that she will NEVER catch on to her underlings utterly dumb racism against jews. This is a dealbreaker for me if I drop the story or not.

Some guy in my neighborhood is crashing out pretty bad. Apparently, he took datura.

...Yeah, that's fucking cracked.

I'm looking to make some chicken dishes that use mushrooms. Any recommendations?

Preferably something a middle class bachelor can make on his own, my budget and skill are both limited.

Waiting for moving help to arrive, was supposed to start at 9am, woke up at 7.30am for last minute prep, current ETA is "before 11am".

Such an early start because the half with the van want to watch the hockey at 4pm and it takes an hour each way on travel for them, and they're the ones running late.

Ah, family.

... Weiss? Why is one of the Schnees getting yet another anime?
It's an anime adaptation of the hentai manga The Shy Snow Woman and the Cursed Ring by Puuzaki Puuna.

A friend sent me some wasabi. Does anyone know what goes best with wasabi? I've never had any before.

I think I'll just send it to my sister. I'm not all too fond of raw fish, but that girl will eat anything.

Shower thought of the day: if you entrap someone into entrapping you, do you just both go to prison?

...Mostly want to see the look on the Judge's face when they read the case.

Apparently the reason my grandmother can understand what her foreign maid says is because her own dad used to be a military officer in the old days, and their native servants taught her their lingo.

.....she really did have a much more interesting life than I ever will.
