I just had a realisation that people here (and on SB) are quite a bit older than I assumed. I turned 21 in June and thought for the longest time that most users are in their twenties. But a majority of the people, atleast those who have their ages visible, are over thirty.

It shouldn't be surprising, but somehow it is. I wonder what's the average age of QQ user base.

Mood, I first joined Discord in my first year of Uni and was very intimidated by all these very adult people having very adult conversations while all I could add to it was the latest anime I watched, fastforward a few years later and suddenly I have the baffling realization that I've become one of the resident geezers.

Being thirty and seeing hordes of Uni kids doing Gen Z shit is a true Snap Back To Reality moment.

I'm old enough for a mid-life crisis and walk with a cane, not that that's helpful in identifying anything :V

That and I'm sure people get mid-life crises way earlier now than they used to.

I don't know about specifically "mid-life crises", but I can tell you that people lose hope in the world and their fellow humans earlier than ever.
 
After watching vidoes about Army Men, I wonder if there's any novelty army women molds that aren't just 3D printed wargaming figurines. Emphasis on novelty in regards to having actual cleavage instead of BMC's Plastic Army Women.
 
The oxygen sensor on my car is out/going bad and I can't reliably drive it anywhere. It stalls out super easy, I get towed I am boned.

Here's the full story I've posted elsewhere:
I'm basically posting this everywhere because I'm desperate and on a time crunch.

Things have been turning around for me, still no luck getting a job but I've been slowly starting to make money writing fanfic. As usual, as soon as things start looking up I got kicked down again.
My car, my only lifeline has a bad oxygen sensor. This means I'm screwed. I don't bring in enough to do anything about that and my car previously wouldn't move fast enough on its own to go anywhere. The forbearance of the Circle K I'm parked at right now isn't going to last long, The manager of the place is already telling me to move on. And the car won't start at all.

I'm honestly terrified. I had so much hope that I was starting to turn things around but that's gone now.
