Anyone been to some store or restaurant, gotten a really strong impression of it, and then years later learned it's famous for being not that? For example, I've been in a Whole Foods once in my life. The impression I got was thst this was a run down, dirty and shitty grocery store that I wouldn't trust anything from. Obviously, not supposed to be that.

That's a reasonable impression of current (post-acquisition) Whole Foods.

It's just that it's also very expensive.

I am getting significantly less tolerant of children being let loose or even existing as I have to listen to my neighbors brets.

I was the Easter Bunny a few weeks ago for the holiday and a room full of reasonably behaving kids having a great time and taking pictures was a delight.
