Godslayers and Goddesses (Nikke X Destiny, Semi-Crack)

Burningum's at the very least, legitimately well intentioned

The Raptures are/were their main concern and since they'll be dealt with, probably great relief

but even if perhaps Johan and Cecil feel dissatisfied or like Crow they have no satisfaction that the raptures were displaced by a force that appeared from nowhere.
and not to mention that Lucas and other guardians show superior technology to Eden like the ghosts.

And I don't know how Cinderella and Grave will feel about the destruction of the Ark and that they are in a new world and that they now have to team up with their old enemies, remembering what they saw in Old Tales.
And I don't know if Syren, like Hamsel and Gretel, are with them in Last City.

They're adults, people won't take whatever bullshit they got for long, may even get shot

It's a question of "what now?"

adults? in that way?

I imagine that Liberalio was looking for a place to sleep.

Lucas may ask Nihilister and Indivilia to dress more appropriately.

I wonder what Marian, Rapi and Red Hood's interactions with their ghosts will be like.
I hope Red Hood doesn't turn his ghost into a pervert like he did with Rapunzel.

Being over 18 on average, Marian/Modernia can be forgiven due to amnesia, makes them adults

With this story here, we can make lewds. Neat.

*Looks again* Damnit we were so close to greatness!

This fic is semi-crack, so perhaps expect more of "You Killed The Commander, You Bastard!" because he's well, immortal

Now that I think about it, just how much did he have to avoid doing? Given that he's again. Immortal and as such in no real danger

Did he have to avoid healing and actually be a cripple for awhile?

Canonically, he heals fast.

I don't want to pressure you but will chapter 5 be uploaded or was the story abandoned?

I've just been busy, I'll get it posted eventually.

Also, a note: unless a new chapter for a story was paid for in some manner (like Patreon), it is considered profoundly rude to ask an author about updates.

I just got hired for a new job and my first day starts in an hour. I've had higher priorities for the last few weeks.
I didn't know. and congratulations on getting a job.

Going back to Nikke so they don't ban me from this page like spacebattles.

How would Snow White and Pioneer be handling the fact that they may have to work together with the raptures and chatterbox to face the Vex and Taken.

but also how Rapi and Red Hood managed to separate?

Rapi still retains the power of red hood or is she just a normal nikke now?

Was Marian with Pioneer when the Vex attacked?

What do you think of the game's commander and how do they handle shift up?

1. Rapi still has some of Red Hood's power. No one knows how they both retained their memories (and it will remain a mystery because all the explanations I put up for discussion on SB were universally seen as underwhelming, plus the Light has enough oddities that it could just remain an ontological mystery and no one would care). Them being separated involves an oddity where the Ghost that scanned them had Multiple Personality Disorder and spontaneously split in two (or it might have been two ghosts that accidentally formed fused together and split from the scan, I am flip-flopping on it).

2. Snow White Pioneer have weird feelings.

3. Yes, but Marian was turned into a Risen during the events that lead to her having her memories erased from canon.

4. No Strong Feelings with the Commander.

1-so the ghost that separated Rapi and Red Hood had multiple personalities and his light was able to separate them more safely?

2-Yes, it is strange that now they have to work alongside the enemy they fought for a century.

3- That Marian is a resurrected person like that? is it a zombie?

4- Does that mean you hate the commander of the game or am I wrong?

I admit, I'm still kinda slow on the main story of NIKKE

But in-regards to Crow, how bad is she actually? I have heard before that Bond Story and Main Story Crow are very very very different characters

And frankly, if she behaved the way the latter did, I could see Lucas quickly giving up the act, revealing that he's a killer and tearing into Team Exotic, because he treats NIKKE as people and he's killed plenty of people

I am guessing you're basing her more off the Bond version….because I get the feeling the canon would decide to start provoking the Last City's inhabitants even if there's no real purpose to her actions…she didn't need to try and bomb the train again, she already got her point with how humans view NIKKE and how they needed to see the enemy for themselves….then again she mentioned how she had a hard time feeling anything much more and that maybe because she's a machine now….so she was gonna do it for shits and giggles

There's also the thing with Yuni and Mihara, the latter was still mind wiped and the first is still extremely pissed about it. Yuni probably isn't an isolated case of what a NIKKE would do with Vapaus(Andersen and Lucas could probably help mass produce it now). They're now in a new home where the old rules don't apply anymore and the "rules" involving the NIMPH seem to be open to abuse.

Crow is somewhere between her bond story self (which is implied to be either the result of a mind switch after the main campaign or Crow lying through her teeth as a manipulation tactic) and her main campaign self. Lucas pretty much figured her out from day one and made a joke out of screwing up her plans in hilarious ways. She's also going to be effectively sidelined as a villain because, well, the Darkness and the Witness are bigger threats.

There's also the issue that the Last City won't let her wander off unsupervised.

Also, Lucas essentially cowed Exotic into compliance in "Listless" by making it clear that he was willing to use Sin to mind control the whole Ark to speed up the evacuation process. Crow wants to know what possibly makes him so scared that he'd cross that line so quickly and if that can be used to her advantage. Suffice to say, she will probably wish she had remained ignorant once the truth of the Darkness comes out.

I've already stated it in the SB thread, but Lucas was able to save Mihara from a mind switch. It involved him getting briefly separated from Wardress and Counters, after which he subjected Chatterbox to the power of the Light. Chatterbox now has a fear of Lucas that he will never admit.

Diesel and Crow shouldn't be in the same room, just to make sure, it'd be ironic if it's now she could/would really try and kill her for what she did all those years ago

Would also be conflicted on the Last City? Because they like and respect their Guardians and possibly go out more often to know/see the threat or it comes to them? Hard to hold onto nihilistic hatred, when there's no more reason to

So Rapi didn't get to kick Syuen by pretending to have lost her memories? Did Lucas Brazilian kick+Black Flash her instead?

I know Chatterbox isn't in the current crowd, but any chance he's listening in or hearing about how "the human" was someone/something that could have challenged even the Goddess Squad? And maybe kill the Queen on his own and/or with his fireteam? And that now he's stuck in a city full of many others who might see him as material for more weapons?

Because it'd be darkly comedic, to find that they just want to kill you and your subordinates, to make more guns rather than any real good reason

Lucas powered through Syuen's attempt to knock him out with Migara's ability to share sensory input and told the shrimp exactly how little she matters to him. She's a little scared of him now, even if she won't admit it.

Chatterbox is somewhat scared of Lucas. To be fair, everyone will be once we get to Chapter…I think it is five? That will be Lucas's first crucible match with Rapi at his side.

It will be a match of Mayhem, before you ask.

I haven't played Destiny, but how quickly can you actually switch builds/armor/weapons/abilities?

Because that would be an eye opener, sure they have "Classes", but from what I can tell, they each have subclasses and players can switch….but can they do so in combat?

Could he move like he has a Combat Computer in his brain predicting enemy opponents?

Also, man, I can't help but feel that had he shown those abilities much earlier, he would have had a Satoru Gojo-esque reputation

Burningum: "I-I say, that we-we can't keep letting that man do whatever he wants t-to do around here"

Andersen: "He is immortal and could kill off who knows how much of our forces on his own"

Doban: "If we let him do as he pleases, it'd signal to rats like those in the Outer Rim they could too"

Unclear.

One of the big draws for The Final Shape is being able to unlock the Prismatic class, which allows you to build craft with abilities from all five of the existing elements. So I'm not sure how fast guardians can switch between skill sets in universe.

Shame

Is Chatterbox really lacking in malevolence right now? In canon, he looks particularly into brainwashing Marian into being his Queen

And whilst Marian took control, I don't think she has the personality and goals that he desires

Not even sure if killing off what remains of humanity was even a high priority for the Raptures and Heretics

Chatterbox and the Heretics effectively had the rug pulled out from beneath them. They're not sure what to do now.

Marian's order are still in effect (she gave him more offscreen), so they don't really have a choice about helping.

Since they're in The Last City instead of The Ark, I guess there'd be a lot less people with reason to fear and hate them

Probably OOC, but living amongst people who are well, just living their lives, could have a bit of an effect

Not sure how much the Heretics have in terms of their NIKKE memories, let alone their human memories

But it's a pity they don't know what it's like to "just live" even without some big role or being a walking disaster

Yeah.

They're kinda wondering what to do now that they have outlived their purpose.

Yeah.

I don't know about the other heretics, but I know Nihilister's rather upfront personality

She holds no loyalty to either Queen, she likes burning people and wants power, but knows her limits enough to plan ahead

Current number one problem for her, is likely Marian because she can just order them all to follow and they will

If any of the Heretics think they can take down the other Guardians, would like to see an assessment
