Supposedly, someone posted a link to the page of a prodigy walker driver he transferred into the stormtrooper corps due to them pointing out the ATATs could be relatively easily & cheaply taken down using cables (like in the battle of hoth) and left him to waste away in the tatooine garrison where his critiques of the walker doctrine would not endanger Veer's career (built it on pioneering ATAT tactics btw)

huh, but in all honesty the problem was a literal 1 in a million, remember the cable manuveur was only done once, and could easily be negated by a single modification.
