Governor's Gambit - Star Wars SI into Imperial Governor

Also! While I've done some research, if there are any ships y'all think would fit the use of the shipyards, feel free to comment on them! As they berths get delivered in batches of three, by next chapter the first batch will be there, with production to begin within two weeks. Assuming, of course, that everything goes well.

So far, the ships being built are on the smaller size, as this is more in line with what the Outer Rim needs, no matter how many crybaby Imperials scream and yell for their overpriced ISD's. Spicy tortilla chip has a logistical shit stain a mile long.

Despite knowing that it highly likely it can't happen due to palpy being unapproving I still want to see the venator class make a return to active service.

Just change the bridge design to match Imperial standards and some general improvements to get it in the ballpark of modern ships and you have an amazing carrier that can still land on some planets speeding up ground deployment and giving great fighter/Bomber support to both alot of fleets and ground operations.

Maybe Give it an "ironic" new class name under the Empire like the virtuous and if questions are asked about using such an incredibly Republic esque ship design from the Imperials higher up on the pecking order just go with the story of using the cruel irony method of beating the Republic obsessive rebels with a ship based on those used by that same institution, you play it right Palpatine might let a limited run be made to both test it's effectiveness and getting to potentially bully the rebels with some delightfully cruel irony.

Considering how much of a black sheep the design is in the modern empire it's one of the very very few very star destroyer designs our governer could potentially get primary ownership of at a rock bottom price aswell to reuse and tweak as he pleases alongside what else I've mentioned.

You know, it just dawned on me that people assigning the SI's siblings to Minda think they're doing the SI a solid and are doing it as a way to indicate favor and it's absolutely missing him with the context.

They think they're giving a valuable asset new subordinates that he can fully trust. Unaware that Las sees his sisters as agents of his would be executioner.

If it's a carrier you want maybe consider the https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Secutor-class_Star_Destroyer

As it's kinda of a successor design

Darna is getting to be that super scary super competent assistant that everyone wants.

As for construction, I think we need a swarm of frigate and corvette sized ships, we need numbers over fire power as most of our enemies will be pirates, and some rebel fighters. there is little chance we are going to have to deal with bigger ships. Though we could design a special carrier that can handle our new TIE's with some decent AA lasers

Funny given the ISB agent isnt a family member, his sister is Military Intelligence, not ISB.
Technically there is a potentially more terrifying option for Las that really has no actual backstory that would lead to incoherent panic...

Ysanne Isard has a younger sister...

The existence of which was due to a timeline hiccup during the Dark Horse Comics Clone Wars stuff that involved her father mentioning he now had a baby daughter when Iceheart was already born, she's also mentioned as existing in one of the rebellion era comics as following her families footsteps though only that she's a liason between the ISB and Military Intelligence and not as obsessively devoted to the job as her sister, but never actually named and just put on an onpage file display and looks like a younger Ysanne Isard with the white bang mirrored.
