Also! While I've done some research, if there are any ships y'all think would fit the use of the shipyards, feel free to comment on them! As they berths get delivered in batches of three, by next chapter the first batch will be there, with production to begin within two weeks. Assuming, of course, that everything goes well.
So far, the ships being built are on the smaller size, as this is more in line with what the Outer Rim needs, no matter how many crybaby Imperials scream and yell for their overpriced ISD's. Spicy tortilla chip has a logistical shit stain a mile long.
Despite knowing that it highly likely it can't happen due to palpy being unapproving I still want to see the venator class make a return to active service.
Just change the bridge design to match Imperial standards and some general improvements to get it in the ballpark of modern ships and you have an amazing carrier that can still land on some planets speeding up ground deployment and giving great fighter/Bomber support to both alot of fleets and ground operations.
Maybe Give it an "ironic" new class name under the Empire like the virtuous and if questions are asked about using such an incredibly Republic esque ship design from the Imperials higher up on the pecking order just go with the story of using the cruel irony method of beating the Republic obsessive rebels with a ship based on those used by that same institution, you play it right Palpatine might let a limited run be made to both test it's effectiveness and getting to potentially bully the rebels with some delightfully cruel irony.
Considering how much of a black sheep the design is in the modern empire it's one of the very very few very star destroyer designs our governer could potentially get primary ownership of at a rock bottom price aswell to reuse and tweak as he pleases alongside what else I've mentioned.
