How did you find QQ?

First encounter of the glorious name of Questionable Questing?

I first discovered it while I'm surfing through Tvtropes. During my time there, I stumbled upon a fanfic called The Cultist, an NSFW crossover quest of The Cultist Simulator, The DCU and Hazbin Hotel, and upon clicking the link to it, I came here.
 
Spacebattles. Few teases from fanfics at SB at first about QQ stuffs.
Made an account, tho i was stupid enough to not scroll down enough to notice the NSFW CrW section, so i just scrolled the regular CrW section.
"Oh wow, not a lot fics recenty posted in here that interest me."
Proceeds to forgot QQ for almost a year.
More recent teases from fanfics at SB made me come back. Glad that i remembered my
it was the same login detail as my alternatehistory.com's account
Scrolled down enough.
"Oh, it was there. Damn."
Now i have some more fics to read.

Tbh, i prefer forums like SB, QQ, althist.com, etc. for reading fics, because of the search system and don't have to go through categories first if i want to browse for new fics to read.
 
I saw it in Google. I am not sure what i was searching, probably something like "interactive fiction forum".
 
I found out about it when I was trying to find a fanfic that Zarlann used to post on SpaceBattles and from a Reddit post I found, it led me to this site. It was the one fic where Taylor from Worm basically came back from the locker incident as a grown-up Artoria and can physically switch between identities.
 
Found a self insert Adam Smasher fic at spacebattles. Then I saw there were some bits not posted there. And here I am now

Damn they just pulled his whole account? I can't find any traces of him from a search engine or on ff.net. Unfortunate.
I found QQ because Cambrian mentioned he had more smut on here. Took me a bit to understand I had to make an account to see NSFW content - I think it was some RR author that finally brought me over
 
SocialistBukharin (or JBukharin here) introduced me to this from FanFiction.Net when I read his stories (I don't remember when or how that started, though)…

I'm still getting my bearings on this website, and I didn't expect to make an account to read the 'good stuff' (but I can understand the reasons for it, considering all the NSFW Content) — hence my choice for the username: Single-Use.
 
i haven't really been here long or rather I haven't contributed much if anything but I actually came here from a discord server for the waifu catalogue... since for some reason most if not every fanfic for that cyoa seems to lead here...

i was pretty much confused as to what the questing and pbp threads were and how they worked and I still remain clueless to how it works I just know at most its a rp thing

I stayed a guest for a year or two before I made an account.
The reason I made said account is due to my habit of trying to figure out why people are banned or muted,makes me feel like a detective.
Was trying to figure out why I couldn't see the messages of someone banned,didn't realize at the time they just restricted who could see their account,thought that becoming a member would allow me too.
Glad I did join though.
 
Found about Questionable Questing from a friend sharing a few stories. Chastity's archive, the 'Kazuma as an Orc' konosuba story, a Worm story, and I think World of Women but 100% sure on that one.

As for why I made an account, seemed like a great a place to share some writing along with Archive and possibly help set up a Paetron and Subscribestar.
And to read other's smut.
 
I was participating in a quest with a really interesting anti-isekai concept on Sufficient Velocity, when the mods got into a hysterical fit over where a update could have been going and brought down the hammer; lost a lot of respect for them listening to their stretched logic for doing that. So the quest went over to Spacebattles and I followed, when Spacebattles (one or two mods in particular) also pitched a tantrum and gave it the boot. So when it came over here, that was when I made a QQ account and have been rewarded with many excellent updates ever since.

I am glad indeed this site exists; smut aside, sometimes an author just needs a little more freedom to spread their wings and get the job done right.
 
Other, I found QQ through AO3. Was reading a story but the lewds were on this site so I checked it out. Now I read on here as well.
 
Honestly, you'd think I'd have heard of it from Spacebattles since I was a member there first, but instead I happened to have typed in the name of a story here—Don't remember it's name though.

As for how I got in Spacebattles? I just searched up Spacebattles and it showed up :V

Someone on the Citadel subreddit (sub for ASOIAF fics) linked a fic on QQ that featured Laenor Velaryon being replaced by Lelouch so that's how I found myself here.
 
I found QQ while I was browsing some gaming forums, looking for a community that felt friendly and engaging. I think I first saw a link to it in a Reddit thread about indie games, which is a big passion of mine. I joined because I was curious to connect with other gamers and share experiences.
