All my images together totalled 450 MB a week ago

Downloading all images now just give me a 22 B zip.

You could still download them individually, though.

Have you tried putting all the images in an album and downloading that album with the "download album" function? That's what I did a week ago to save some of the last stuff I uploaded.
 
Meh I have all of them saved on my computer somewhere but I just thought having all of them collected in one place would be nice to remember what I had posted. I'll try again tomorrow morning and if it doesn't work I'll just manually download stuff.

Nope downloading albums doesn't work and downloading single images using the button next to the picture on the side doesn't work either.
 
Downloading stuff has been fixed.

I might delete my NSFW stuff later though I'll probably leave a handful of images to see if they get detected by whatever software Imgur will use. How did Tumblr get rid of their NSFW stuff?

I think everyone's just in the scrambling period to find an alternative.

I also have a feeling some of the other image hosting sites are playing catch-up to try and fill in the Imgur-shaped hole

It works for me about 95% of the time, but I won't pretend the other 5% of the time doesn't exist. Between load issues and bad actors, I suspect this is the future of "free" image hosting. Can't really expect fringe stuff to be subsidized after the end of the quantitative easing/free money era.
 
I'm totally unsurprised by this. I never trust a website to maintain content I like. If you like a thing, save a copy to your own local storage. A 1tb USB SSD is under $100 and can store twenty years of porn, memes, greentexts, and cool pics. If you've got a decent modem/router it may even have a USB port so you can use it as a NAS.

Save your shit, the only one you can rely on is you.

On the hosting side, shit sucks and I can't help. All I can say is: if it's free, they can take it away.

Edit: actually gfycat moved all the NSFW content to a different site, redgifs I think? And that ended up with a different owner... so for once, the porn one is staying up when the SFW one is killed.

Sounds to me like the porn was the only thing keeping gfycat alive. :p
