If there's anything this thought exercise has told me is that Taylor and Emma seemingly trying to patch things up between them would create very mixed feelings with the Boston Protectorate. On one hand, the Protectorate wouldn't have to be so afraid and hyper vigilant hiding Ampere away from Phase all the time which is good. On the other hand, Weld and his comrades will privately become even more bitter towards Taylor since Emma is the main culprit in Taylor's trigger event and yet somehow she gets the opening into Phase's life but not them after 2 and and half years lol.

Some part of that still managed to overwhelm my rational side and give her a last chance. You and nearly all the Boston Wards? You were part of Piggot's coverup for what Ampere and Shadow Stalker did to me. Love bombing me to get me to not set off the PR nuke I held the trigger for, oh and to get me to use the powers those two caused me to get for you. Where in that was anything I'm supposed to think fondly of?"
