Mon of the Dead

[X] Oh, it's lunch time now?
- - [X] Get some food... make sure to feed Smoke...
- - [X] Take things easy... and get this odd image of you and smoke being pasty heads filled with red bean paste?!?!
- - - - [X] Go to the roof, relax there with Smoke...

[X] What's Cindy been up to? In your house.

[x]Focus on the lifesaving not the creepy. The Life Saving.
[x]What's Cindy been up to in your house.

so umm. is the rest of this going to be put in Quest Archive? or is it still on SB?

edit: reading through on SB, just got to the point where whatshisface outriht tells us that zombies ignore lightning and thunder (perhaps think its natural?) unless they are attacked with it.

then you got to vote for your psychic power after rolling a nat 100

not a single fucking vote for electrokinesis

seriously?

Beacuse of the levels needed to be of any use at all against dead foes. Barriers Shennanagins can happen much quicker and easier plus really fucking useful when a single bite or blood covered scratch is the end.

Also, train a bit with Barriers again. Get a bunch of peppbles or something else easy to throw but light and start getting a feel for holding a barrier up longer/stronger.

eh, it would have taken the same amount of time to make lightning useful as it will to make barriers useful, except that barriers might save us from a single attack, giving someone a chance to rescue us, where as a single lightning bolt could remove the threat completely.

also, in the first post it says "Nurse Joy has survived. Without advanced medical equipment, however, recovery time is vastly slowed. Still knows medicine."

i just read the thread on SB from start to finish, i don't remember Joy ever being injured.

did i miss a scene?

Nah.

It's just pointing out that you were lucky enough that Nurse Joy made it from the southwest quadrant of the city to the northeast one. A lot of people didn't. Odds were kind of against it. But, hey, you got to start with someone with medical training available~

Medical personal in any apocalypse is kind of essential...

Hojo has enough experience to do operations, with his biology experience and experiments. Benji could kind of muddle his way through figuring out how the equipment works. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to take off the spray-top of a potion and go 'DRINK THIS'.

But, yeah, things would be much more difficult without a Joy, or someone with suitable medical training.

Hey, I gave you the option to get a job in character creation~

Hahahahahahahaha~ Doctor Blue?

Hmmm, could we become Nurse Joy's assistant, and help her ?

oh, i guess i misunderstood "Nurse Joy has survived. Without advanced medical equipment, however, recovery time is vastly slowed. Still knows medicine."

as ""Nurse Joy has survived (her wounds). Without advanced medical equipment, however, (her) recovery time is vastly slowed. Still knows medicine (meaning her brain still works fine, even if she cant walk, ect)."

glad to know i was wrong about that.

[X] Check on Cindy?

Actually, Cindy doesn't seem to spend a lot of the day alone in your house.

Or at least, she isn't here right now. One or the other. Currently, she seems to be .....

It takes you a few minutes to track her down, but she's hanging around with your mom, and the pair are playing with a few scavenged knitting needles and some scraps of yarn that got left in someone's cupboard around here.

Mom's mitten looks okay, though she's never been as talented with this sort of thing as she'd like to pretend. The scarf Cindy is working on looks like it's trying to come to life and strangle her.

You carefully withdraw before you are noticed and dragged into things.

You catch the tail end of a conversation between gym members as you mill aimlessly about for a bit. Something about 'Servers', re: their importance, and how the cave across a river somewhere could likely be a horror-vomiting deathtrap to even venture near.

You weren't really paying much attention, in full honesty. The dojo is making shredded meat in sauce for sandwiches, after all, with a mass of boiled and mashed root vegetables.

You savage one side of the meal, Smoke mostly prefers the other. Though he does seem to like the sauce.

[ ] ??

[X] see if you can find the gym members and ask them about the cave.

Only thing I can think of at the moment.

Pulled pork sandvich and mashpotatoes!

[X] Continue the relaxation and see about getting smoke back up to 100%
- - [X] Go over the map of the city and see if there are any convinence store to loot, for luxury goods like smokes, and booze... and those magazines that Smoke likes~
- - [X] See if the Jenny is doing okay...
- - - - [X] Go chitchat with the gym members, and find out why the cave could be a horror to go near~

They mentionned the servers.

We might want to see Sabrina to see if we actualyl want to risk that or someone reactivating them carelessly.

I think there are still stuffs to be done here before going to other cities. Like, getting the police's equipment and medical items (this is important).

Leave the servers for later.

[x] Go hang with the depressede pokemon, the one with the abusive maid. (forgot his name).
-[x] Maybe you could help him and nidoran male cheer up.

I'm looking foward to adding them to our party to our party.

6265, we JUST survived almost becoming Arcanine chow. We are totes not going back there.

Pokecenter/hospital, maybe.
