Suddenly a woman appears with long blonde hair. She looks rather tired as her outfit is showing some wear and tear.

The girl yawns before looking at the people who called out to her. "Enterprise?"

"Hello, Mighty Mo," Enterprise says with a smirk.

"I thought you were scrapped," Missouri says in shock.

"Like big E would die that easily," Georgia says with a snort.

"Wait you can all see me?" Missouri asks

All the ship girls nod.

"Yep, just waiting till we find Heerman as a razor blade," Georgia says

"O'bannon would be a toaster," Enterprise says

"Yes the taffy would manage to pull something like that off," Missouri says with a little mirth as well.

"So what brings you to my neck of the ocean?" Missouri asks

"We are sailing back home from Australia." Says a voice

Missouri turns around to see Salt Lake City and Independence.

"You!" Missouri says pointing at Georgia.

"Me?" Georgia asks

"I don't recognize you, yet IFF is reading you back as some cross between an Iowa and a Montana. You brought them back didn't you?" Missouri asks

Georgia just smiles.

"I'm your cousin that was never built. I'm USS Georgia, displacement wise I'm closer to a Montana, but speed and armor wise I'm closer to an Iowa. I have 3 double 18-inch turrets and a whole lot of Pittsburg Steel." Georgia says

"You sound a lot like grandma texas," Missouri says with a smile.

Enterprise laughs realizing that she does in fact seem similar to texas

"It's just a bit ol southern hospitality. Just because we both like sweet tea and spicy things doesn't mean we are the same. After all she shoots the freedom sedan while I shoot the minivan ." Georgia says

Salt Lake laughs with Independence following shortly afterward.

"So what are you here to do?" Missouri asks sitting down on one of the display shells used for the tours.

"A full repair of course," Georgia says touching the deck with her hand.

To anyone watching the historic battleship that had the treaty signed on it flashed before it looked nearly brand new. The hull was painted and the guns were almost new with little wear on the rifling. Most of the corrosion due to time is gone, to steal a term from the brits it is Spic and span.

Missouri feels full of energy as her boilers nearly ignite.

Looking at the cousin who helped her she is a little worried as the girl in question is now standing unsteadily on her feet. It reminded her of when her crew from the midwest first stepped aboard.

"That actually took a decent amount out of me. When was the last time you were dry-docked?" Georgia asks out of breath.

"I was supposed to be dry-docked in 1992 but active ships in the navy take priority and the navy is struggling to maintain its fleet with leviathan constantly attacking coastal cities that have naval bases," Missouri says shrugging

"Who cut the line?" Enterprise asks

"Kitty Hawk, I actually sailed with her a bit during Regans time. She's watching over Japan right now. Our ally is hurting." Missouri says

"The United States abandons its allies," Georgia mutters

"I don't think that's fair. We do try to help. They just need to learn to help themselves too." Enterprise says

'You obviously missed Afghanistan, China, Egypt, the CIA did that thing to Greece, then Panama.' Georgia thinks

There is a cough "are you all enjoying yourselves?"

All the ship girls look over to see Captain Erik.

"I think I'm doing a lot better now."
Missouri says

"I would say you are," Georgia says looking at Missouri.

"Could you make it so others could see Missouri?" Erik asks

"Why?" Enterprise asks

"Well, at first I was skeptical then my officer runs up to me talking to me about a conversation he had with Atlanta, he trained on her a few decades ago and is 2 years from retirement. Imagine my surprise when she names him and even tells embarrassing stories from his time aboard her." Erik says smiling

"I think having Missouri acting as a tour guide and telling stories would really help the museum," Erik says


"Actually, where is Atlanta?" Enterprise says realizing the cruiser isn't here

From the outside, it looked beautiful, pleasant, and modest. Bricks and huge, stone pillars made up most of the building's outer structure.
It's near impossible to see through the high windows, but the loud and passionate voices from within can be felt outside.

Looking into the pub through the decorated, wooden door, Several navy vets could be seen along with a lot of active service members. It was an impromptu reunion spurred on by one single pink-haired girl.
The bartender was working hard and barely managed to keep up with the crowd.
"CHUG CHUG CHUG CHUG!!!!!" Cheer several men.

The shipgirl was downing ale directly from the keg to the amusement of everyone there.

Panama was a wreck. The entire country was literally and figuratively on fire, mostly literally.

The canal was in ruins and General Manuel Noriega was still in power. The American base was abandoned, and there was empty hulls all along the coast and some even in the streets on both sides of the canal.

"Well, this is completely destroyed." Salt lake says

The girls were standing on the water looking at the entrance to the canal from the Pacific Ocean.

"I knew it would be bad but not this bad," Georgia says sadly.

"I'm astounded by our time." Independence says holding her bow.

"8 days. That's honestly impressive. Though maybe we could've been faster if we didn't stop at Hornet, Iowa, and Midway." Enterprise says

"You enjoyed seeing your sister and you know it," Georgia says

"Are we going to be able to get food here?" Knight asks

"It's probably not a good idea too. Why don't you girls run ahead and I'll be right behind?" Georgia asks

"You are looking for more of those cubes Huh?" Enterprise states

"I think we'll stop by the old naval base and raid the freezer the food might still be good," Atlanta says

"Fine just be careful," Georgia says

"We've been by it plenty of times," Enterprise says reassuringly.

Georgia nods trusting the fleet to meet her in the Gulf of Mexico. After spending a cube on each spirit they visited on the west coast to make them visible to humans and able to interact with the physical world she was down to 12 that could be used without sacrificing another spirit.

"I think I'll stick with you," Archerfish says having surfaced.

Taylor was cleaning up the basement to the house. She needed a place to hold her spiders that didn't scare her dad. He knew she was a cape and was fine with it, however, she needed to take care of her bugs.

So a box of stuff labeled desk decorations was being carried upstairs by the black-haired teen.

"Hey, dad? What's this box of stuff?" Taylor asks

"Oh? That, it's a box of knick-knacks your mom used to decorate her desk with." Danny says

"This thing is literally a plate of steel." Taylor deadpans pulling a hunk of metal out of the box.

"That plate of steel is a section of armor off of Warspite….." Danny says going silent.

Taylor looks at the metal plate in her hands in shock.

"Does mom have any other odd navy stuff in the house? I thought she was a literature professor." Taylor says

"Your mom had a masters in history and literature. Her main area of study was the Second World War. She was even an editor for James D Hornfisher." Danny says

"Do you think Warspite's spirit could be like Enterprise?" Taylor asks

"We will have to ask Georgia when she gets back. She was last seen off the coast of California heading south." Danny says

There was a knock at the door. Danny and Taylor looked at each other Taylor looked at the box in her hands before looking at her dad and nodding.

"I got it." Danny says

Taylor runs upstairs to her room with the box of stuff not wanting it to be seen.

"Ah, he finally made it. He wasn't kidding when he said the government was slow at making progress." Danny says walking over to the door.

The front door to the house opens to reveal a man in navy uniform standing there.

"Danny? You've certainly grown up Huh Kid."

"Captain Avatar," Danny says with a smile

The old bearded man grabs the rim of his captain's hat lifting up the front and showing an amazing smile.

"Danny you don't have to call me that anymore. In fact, I think I'm here for your boys today." Avatar says

"Right, the dry dock correct?" Danny asks

Functional dry docks were a rarity with the decline in shipping the need for them had almost dried up except for the navy and they had their own dry docks. So the fact that there was a new civilian dry dock really would help after that duel with game master.

"Yep Enterprise and Samuel B Robert's need some repair. The fact we don't have to sail them around South America to Pearl would help a lot." Avatar says before his phone rings.

A simple push of a button mutes the phone sending it to voicemail before the ringing starts again with a vengeance.

"Maybe you should get that?" Danny asks

Avatar looks at the phone before recoiling in shock.
"I do need to yes."

"Hello? Captian Avatar speaking?… what? No no, say it again, slower." Avatar says in complete confusion.

"What do you mean the Panama Canal just fixed itself and the fridge on the base is empty? What base?" Avatar asks

Danny watches the vice-admiral sigh tiredly.

"Danny, I have to run back to Norfolk. Probably stop by DC on the way. I'll be here when Enterprise and her escort group arrives though." Avatar says leaving the house in a hurry.

"The Panama Canal fixed? Do you think shipping could return?" Danny asks himself.

Ratings: it is believed that all of BB70's previous ratings are due to sandbagging when conducting initial power testing. This is supported by footage from the SIMURGHS attack on Canberra. Thus, the THINK-TANK has put together the following ratings for all directors and Level 3 personnel.

Brute: 11

BB70 has demonstrated a resilience for numerous munitions when conducting initial power testing. The Rating was increased when during the siege of Canberra, she had powered through entire buildings and alternately thrown through buildings. On top of the resilience, she has stated she can enforce up to 212 thousand horsepower in a pushing motion and 44 thousand horsepower in a pulling motion.

You heard the man the lady can take a beating what he isn't telling you is how much of a beating she can take. I had a chat with some of my buddies who where serving a tour on the Constitution, and they mentioned that BB means Battleship. The last battleship had the alpha numeric designation of BB-64, so we are looking at the resilience to take anything that isn't Naval grade artillery to the face and shrug it off. So, unless you have a literal ton of explosives don't shoot the lady. If you do, she has the strength to literally rip your arms out of their sockets and beat you to death with them.

Breaker: 0

The Breaker designation is simply the manifestation that allows BB70 to access most of her powers. The extent of her powers that are accessed when her breaker form is manifested is unknown. The manifestation of her breaker state appears to be a combination of a ship hull with her cape name painted on, as well as miniaturized guns ranging from what appear to be 5"/38 caliber guns to an unknown dual barreled main gun. She has also demonstrated the ability to change between either weighing at 64,000 Tones to 153 LBS this ability is separate from her rigging and thus it is safe to assume in a hostile situation that she is weighing at the former rather than the latter.

Don't have a lot of words from what the man the myth and the legend has already stated except when the rigging as my navy friends have taken to calling it is deployed in full be prepared to start paddling up shit creek. Now for anyone who can't convert a pound to a ton, its 2 thousand pounds to make a ton. So even if you wanted to move her, she can literally sit down and never move an inch no matter what you bring. The only way she is moving at the 64K tonnage side is if she wants to.

Mover: 3

BB70 has been stated on the record that she can theoretically run 40 knots for several hours. The conversion to a conventional speed states that she is capable of running up to 46 miles per hour, for what was recorded during testing at 3 hours.

Anyone remember their eighth-grade science class when Newtons 3 laws were discussed. This is confirmation that Newton is the scariest motherf***er on planet earth. Essentially, she can impact an object at 1,315,840,000N. Anyone who isn't a nerd this is basically flatten a city at top speed levels of force. This combined with her brute rating, and you realize that she can rip you apart with her bear hands, take all but heavy ordinance to hurt, and can run at speeds approaching Highway speeds and you have a very scary picture.

Shaker: 7

She can instantaneously repair any ship and break down a ship into a singularity for later use.

Ok self-explanatory she is the Navy's wet dream and the bane of dockworkers. The singularity thing is something that I had to research on, but I think it is better to give this a tinker sub-rating due to the sheer amount of whisky tango foxtrot energy this ability somehow has.

Master: 6

BB70 has demonstrated the ability to command others and they follow orders to the best of their ability. We have yet to determine what the limitations are however we have noted that this power effects those who have prior military experience.

So, what the Think-tank forgot was when looking over the footage and records from dragon she is using old military radio frequencies. When I asked my navy friends about it, they explained that you have one ship that is set up as the flagship. This ship has extra equipment for commanding a task group, which correlates with the frequencies used. Plus, I found a peculiar patch and when asking my friends, they explained that she is a W-5 whatever that is. But that apparently means that unless you have some stars, she can pretty much do what ever you want or something.

Tinker: 0 2

BB70 has demonstrated an ability to create modern military equipment and weapons that are related to ships.

Here I am gonna have to call bull, I got ahold of some footage watching several museums including one that had a good look and the Constitution. The camera was a tinkertech camera that had 18K definition and could capture the wings of a hummingbird with a thousand stills. Well in the footage BB70 temporarily turned the ship into a blue cube and then I guess somehow reversed the transformation. As mentioned in the shaker ratings, I don't know what that cube is, but I think it's some hammer-space that can repair ships and if that's not tinkertech then I don't know what is.

Thinker: 5

BB70 has demonstrated the ability to see and track objects in her a full 360-degree radius and up to 600 meters. She has alluded to being able to see further but refused to test due to safety concerns. She has informed the testers that she can track targets up to 30 miles. When testing to see how many objects she can track she managed to track it is noted that she can identify up to 500 objects past a certain size and actively track close to 200. It should be assumed that this is on the low end of what she can do.

She sees you when your patrolling, she knows when you are flying, she knows if you are a plane or not, so you back the hell off. This is another thing I asked my navy friends, apparently you can't have radar systems on when you get withing a certain distance to the coast because the waves will disrupt any radio signals and electronics and can literally cook a man standing in front of a radar dish while it is active. Speaking of can we reprimand the guys in charge of power testing because I don't want to have to report to a testing chamber because someone's hamster god nuked. Back to the thinker rating, well it is rather strait forward with her theme being a battleship then clearly this we are looking at an SC radar set equivalent. Old fashioned but legend is right she is probably low balling it so assume that if she is close to 30 miles away from anyone who cares, she can see you no matter if you are on the dirt or in a Helicopter.

Blaster 10 13

This is the only rating that we can safely confirm to be a subrating of her breaker form. The cannons that are mentioned in the breaker rating are capable of launching shells that have similar power to the normal sized projectiles. We have confirmed that she can shoot up to a 40mm anti-air round, and it is believed that the 5"/38s have a similar capability. Thinkers are still having trouble identifying the larger guns, but we can safely confirm to be at least 356mm capable gun.

So, she is a neigh unstoppable impossibly strong and absurdly fast killing machine, well guess what she doesn't need to get in melee to give you a bad day. She can do it at range with the equivalent of naval artillery. So when you combine her mover rating with her thinker rating with the ability to track and hit you if you are withing 15 miles from her and suddenly you realize she owns the place you are at, doesn't matter what you have she owns it. Back to classifying the ratings, once again I am going to call bull, the design of the guns means that they are a minimum of 16 inches. What Legend has not stated is the design of the turrets is different depending on the mark of the gun. Now I am not an expert, but the design is closer in line with the 16'/45 calibers of the Colorado's. Now if I am right which I wish I am not then that means that she has the capability to shoot katies, for anyone who doesn't know what that is, it's a f***ing nuke with a yield of 15-20 kilotons. With the potential of 6 of these falling on your head if you mess up bad enough each one has the equivalent power of the bomb that wiped out Hiroshima. Frankly I still think she should be given the Blaster yes designation on PHO.

Trump: 1

She has demonstrated the ability to manipulate thinker into a constant loop of and I quote "Is ship yes" this has made getting specifics difficult and resulting on higher ratings by a factor of 1

Gentlemen you heard the man the think tank and watch dog is useless on this and good old sleuthing is required. However, I did hear from the ENE base radar operator found a ship on scopes where there wasn't one. So, it's not just powers that she affects but also radar equipment. Good news about this is she is an easy target for radar guided missiles.

She was the dockyard, when she came alive is a tricky question. Though she remembers everyone who worked on her. Was she still dying? Slightly though with USS Georgia's plan she should recover once again.

"Um, Miss are you lost?" Kurt asks

"I'm fine Kurt. Just waiting for Georgia to get back." Bay says

"How do you know my name?" Kurt asks

"You're a member of my crew silly. Of course, I would know your name."

"I'm gonna call Danny," Kurt says

"Oh! He's my favorite commander almost as good as his father." The girl says happily.

"Uh Huh," Kurt says pulling out an old flip phone.

Renick was in charge today since Piggot had an aneurism followed by her kidneys failing for the last time. She was on bed rest after Panacea had healed her since she was unconscious and unable to turn down the healing.

Was a medical staff member going to get fired over that decision, yes. However, he would make sure that they got a better job at another division of the protectorate.

"Colin… has your friend been able to remove the post?" Renick asks

"She's trying but we all know how the internet is. PHO has actually been taken offline 3 times." Armsmaster says

"Any news on who was responsible for the leak?" Renick asks

"Someone at an IP address in DC." Armsmaster answers

"This is a mess," Renick says as the phone rings once again.

"Navy?" Armsmaster asks

"Yep, wonder what they want?" Renick asks aloud.

The sound of a dull thud is heard echoing throughout an underground bunker.

Coil's head was slamming into his desk in this timeline while in the main one he was talking to Lisa in a panic.

Unknown to Coil, Lisa was purposely feeding him false info thanks to the talk she had with Georgia over in Boston.

"Boss, I am telling you there is no way that report is accurate. There is no way one singular person can have that many different categories even for a grab bag. Maybe she isn't even a parahuman?" Lisa says purposely trying to get a rise out of Coil.

"What is she then?" Coil asks seething

"Well, if youve ever talked to a former naval service member they always seem to agree that their ship is alive right? I mean what if?" Lisa asks

"There was never a BB-70 built. Tattletale i need something else from your powers just anything." Coil says

"Well, boss you have her identity? What if you try to attack her while she's at work and not active as a cape?" Tattletale asks

"You know? That might actually work…" Coil says hanging up the phone while in his secondary timeline he had died from hitting the desk too hard with his head. It makes you wonder if he sustains brain damage between timelines.

March 6th 2011

The sun was rising over the edge of the water in the distance. Georgia and Archerfish have been searching for Enterprise and have yet to find the task group.

"Maybe they are already at Huston?" Archerfish asks

"… I think they got lost," Georgia says

"As long as they don't repeat grandma Texas' shakedown cruise they should be fine," Archerfish says

"Please if those girls are raiding anything it's a pantry. I really doubt they are going to capture a town in Mexico. Yep, they definitely wouldn't do that at all." Georgia says speeding up by a significant amount on the water.

"Salt Lake!" Atlanta shouts in a whine.

"No! I have discovered that the heat from my gun barrels can be used to cook hot dogs. so they shall do so." Salt lake says with finality.

"And you still want your triple 8inch guns turned into two 10inch guns? Because I don't think you would be able to stuff a hot dog down the barrel then." Atlanta says

"That's fine, I'll tie it to the surface guidance radar. I mean it cooked the thanksgiving Turkey well enough." Salt City says smiling

Enterprise sighs if it wasn't for the fact her damage control crew and Salt Lake's damage control crew used to exchange pointers and tactics. She wouldn't be used to the green-haired cruiser's antics. She still remembers the time that a maintenance mechanic decided to his underwear to the inside of a Dauntless's dive break to dry them out after washing.

"So this is Huston? It's changed a lot." Atlanta says

"Why are the buildings showing signs of water damage," Knight asks

"It was probably hit by the aftermath of whatever hit Panama." Independence says

"Oh! I see grandma texas! Her 14 inches look a lot bigger than I thought they would." Gregory says

"That's her alright. The last time I saw her was when she was underway to Okinawa and I was returning for repairs." Enterprise says recognizing Texas.

"Permission to come aboard!" John C Butler shouts.

A few seconds pass the girls standing in a formation on top of the water. listening for radio traffic.

The static of an old vacuum tube radio responds with an "affirm" before cutting out.

Texas was excited. She was picking up old radio waves that were used back in the war.
They were quite a distance away and the signal was too weak for her communications suite, however, she just knew that Georgia was on her way. After all she had visited most of the museum ships on the west coast before reportedly heading south.

"It would be nice for people to be able to see me when I interact with them," Texas says with a smile.

Missouri already had a dedicated PHO account and several dozens of historians were losing their collective shit.

"This is gonna be so much fun," Texas says smiling.

The news channel was on speed dial and several of her surviving crew members were flown in and spending the week in the hotel.

Would the navy have done that normally? Maybe but unlikely. However, the reports of the Panama Canal being repaired received a lot of attention on BB-70's next destination.

Texas feels a Volunteer call her name. It was David, he's been coming here for a few years now. Though he sounded nervous.

Texas appears in the old boiler room right in front of the man.

"I don't know if you're here or not. But you've no doubt heard me complain about Keith and Rebbeca. About my job, if you could maybe not mention who I am and what I do? As a small favor to the grandson of Baker?" David asks

Texas is a little shocked because her former captain didn't have any children as far as she was aware.

"Ah, right here," David says putting down a pencil.

"North for yes south for no," David says

Texas gathers her remaining strength to move the pencil so it pointed north. It was rather straining considering she used most of her energy to make her curator and crew coffee earlier in the morning.

Hours later.
Georgia and Archerfish pull into Huston.
Georgia praying to whatever she would as a ship girl that the city is not on fire.

"See I told you it wouldn't be in flames," Archerfish says

"I guess Eidolon hasn't found out that they are here," Georgia says with relief.

"Who?" Archerfish asks

"He's one of those superhero's one of the strongest ones. Probably the only one besides maybe Alexandria that could stop an AP 5inch shell. A few others could become impervious to them. However, he would probably be hit and then the shell would flaten." Georgia says

"Interesting," Archerfish says

"Yeah luckily we have a few heavy hitters here," Georgia says smiling

The USS Texas was surrounded by a news crew and several veterans it looked almost like a last-minute barbecue/ tailgate.

"Is that my former navigator?" Archerfish whispers in excitement noticing a crew member almost immediately.

"Go to them. I mean look at everyone else. It's a family reunion." Georgia says with a smile

The sub nods enthusiastically running ashore.

Georgia was looking at the spirit of Texas.
To say she isn't a little bit intimidated would be a lie.
The spirit looked relatively young however they all did except for Constitution for some reason.
Texas having cat ears was something Georgia wouldn't have expected from the super Dreadnought. Even still the stare-down was slightly entertaining.

"Enterprise vouched for you. In truth, I was excited about finally being repaired. However, with the recent mess you caused in Australia and all the girls I am seeing. It has the navy jumpy. Something, something master, some good folks are getting scared. The bad ones even more so." Texas says staring down the never built battleship.

"Well, do you have any sweet tea? New England just doesn't make it right. We can talk about it over drinks or I'm fairly certain I saw a Cracker Barrel down the road. Though my crew is now telling me there is a What A Burger nearby and I'm wondering if they are still serving breakfast." Georgia says

"Are you trying to stereotype me? I mean cause if so you forgot that chicken place." Texas says

"Chick fil a is closed on Sundays. Everyone should know that." Georgia says

Texas is just looking at Georgia.

"I can still call you grandma right? And what I did is nothing compared to your shake-down cruise." Georgia says

"What did I do in during my shake-down cruise?" Texas asks rhetorically.

"Tampico? Or did you think I was referring to the time you ran aground and New York came by to cheer you on?" Georgia asks

Texas smiles a little.

"Not many folks around remember those things. I mean back in my day" Texas says with a smile at the memory.

Georgia starts giggling at that statement.

"What did they do use mules to build battleships?" Georgia asks rhetorically

"They actually did. I remember the ramp those poor things had to haul my steel armor up." Texas remarks

"Okay miss gangster lean," Georgia says with simile

"... You know a lot, what blackmail material do you have on me?" Texas asks

"One of the first ships with an anti-aircraft gun. Sitting on top of an anti-aircraft tower." Georgia says with a grin.

Does texas flinch a little at the mention of the cursed anti-aircraft tower? Yes yes, she does.

"Or the cobra blood incident," Georgia says

"That one wasn't my fault!" Texas shouts

"They were your marines!" Georgia shouts back

The two battleships eventually break out into giggles.

"So sweet tea?" Texas asks

"Yes please," Georgia responds, following the older spirit.

Taylor was watching the news. Georgia had shown up in Texas after pummeling the end bringer.

"Dad? Did we do the right thing by trusting her? It's going to put you at risk." Taylor says

"I don't think we'll have any problems," Danny says with a smile

"What makes you say that?" Taylor asks a little bit sarcastically.

"I met a rather intriguing girl today, she called herself Brockton bay and said she was an installation," Danny says

"A what now?" Taylor asks

"Miss Enterprise!" The tv barks

"Yes?" Enterprise says on the

"Georgia's identity has been leaked at this point right? How do you plan on defending her?"

"You're kidding, right? You do realize us ships have very few nonlethal options. So if someone challenged her in her civilian persona they aren't going home. On top of that, it may be an open secret, however, it's still a secret if someone breaks the unwritten rules we will respond in kind." Enterprise answers

"Like that threat BB-70 made on PHO?"

"Exactly that threat." Enterprise says before turning around and continuing to talk to a vet in a wheelchair.

"Hello, big E." An old man says with a smile his walker had an oxygen tank attached to it. The man himself was in full-dressed whites and was clearly weighed down by the number of metals attached to the uniform.

"Dick best? Aren't you 101? I'm am surprised to see you up and about." Enterprise says in shock.

"I am as well to be completely honest though I think I'm too stubborn to die like yourself." Best says with a smile.

"I get that, I personally clung on to my stern plate as they were ripping my body apart. There were several times where I thought I would cease to exist then Georgia found me." Enterprise says smiling.

Emily Piggot was watching a sinking ship.

From her personal contacts in the court system, this case would destroy the reputation of the protectorate east northeast. Luckily it's also destroying the youth guard, and Emily kept the emails and recordings of the conversation where her boss told her too bad about the mess that was shadow stalker. Luckily Maine was a one-party consent state. So she was going to get off next to free and probably get early retirement.

"I still don't understand why they won't take a settlement!" The lawyer shouts

"That would be because they want to take this to court," Piggot says

The lawyers and Tagg look at her.

"It's a matter of principle for them. To top it all off they are hiding behind one of the most powerful capes in the world." Piggot says

"I still say we should arrest her and force her into the PRT," Tagg says

"Yes, piss off a battleship and the navy at the same time why don't you," Armsmaster says blandly

"The navy?" Piggot asks

"According to Dragon, ONI has been poking around to places BB-70 has been and is likely to go." Armsmaster says

"Why would oni want to deal with her?" Tagg says

Several of the lawyer's facepalm. Everyone has heard of the reopening of the Panama Canal

"So, we're fucked?" Legend asks his voice coming from the video call.

"Royally so," Piggot says

"Just because!"

"No that's not!"

Several voices are doing what the peanut gallery does and it was loud.

"That woman with the white hair was the USS Enterprise, I might be strong but even I would have a tough time against those girls. We all saw BB-70 fight The Simurgh we've all seen her threat rating. So I think we should approach this calmly cause even I don't want this fight." Eidolon admits, silencing everyone.

Was it because David had met her the day before? Maybe, however, he knew ships his favorite thing to do in his downtime wouldn't be to volunteer at the Texas ship museum if he didn't know ships. And Georgia is a ship he did not want to fight.

Newport News Virginia

The USS Monitor, that was her name.

In truth, the replica gave her something nice to inhabit compared to the trinkets that were recovered from her wreck.
The news of that battleship theme cape making her way around the country making the ship's spirits visible to the humans had her excited; however, her ship and museum was out of the way. There is no way they would know to stop there.
She has been alone for years with few visitors since they pulled her up from the bottom of the river.
She wouldn't get her hopes up though, who would want to visit her?

"No one, that's who…" Monitor mutters sitting down in the spot that would be home to her boiler.

Then again Hunely was visited by the mysterious battleship. So who was to say she would be ruled out?

People outside started shouting. At first in worry then amazement.
One of her guides had recognized what was happening.

The fact that an escort carrier had not been seen in nearly half a decade ever since the museum ship failed and had to be scrapped. The fate of all ships who couldn't get enough visitors… the scrap yard…

She loses herself in her thoughts, forgetting that there are supposed to be no escort carriers left.

The USS Independence was sailing into port, its deck lined with aircraft was a rather impressive sight.
The TBF's The F4F's and the SBD-3's were a magnificent sight to behold to all who would watch.

The people around her eventually disappeared over the period of an hour, not even the tour guide had disappeared. I mean she was seeing significantly more people these days than she had in the past few years. Likely because of that BB-70 cape old ships were beginning to get attention again. Something about ship spirits coming to life and giving tours and telling stories themselves.

That was when a girl walked in and for some reason, Monitor shivered looking at the Yellow and blue eyes. It's been so long since the ironclad has made eye contact with anyone. Let alone someone acknowledging her existence.

1 hour ago.

Georgia was watching Independence steer herself. It was surreal to be honest the Escort carrier maneuvered herself well beyond what she should've been able to do.

I mean at one point Eurobeat should've been blasting when the carrier docked. She was drifting sideways, managing to stop just within a foot of the birthing.

The gangway was dropped down as the escort group was ready to give surprise tours to the people visiting the monitor museum.

Georgia herself however would be exploring the museum that had a replica of the USS Monitor and it's not the actual thing like the Hunley. Though Archerfish constantly calling Hunely grandma was rather entertaining. She still had to check she would never forgive herself if she forgot to save a family member.

All the patrons at the museum were aboard independence while the town seemed to buzz to life at the impromptu meet and greet from the ship girls. A cape team named AzurLane had been established on PHO though she hasn't filed the paperwork for it yet.

Georgia shakes her head from her musings as she arrives at the museum and gets a good look at the model Monitor.

A small ramp led up and on to the model ship which Georgia marched up with ease. Before crawling down into the space which would've held the boiler.

Georgia notices a small girl sitting in the corner alone. Her eyes seem to be nearly empty, devoid of emotion.

"Hello?" Georgia asks trying to get her attention.

"I guess I wasn't forgotten" Monitor mutters happily.

Monitor had not been this happy since her duel with CSS Virginia at the Gosport navy yard. Virginia was her fated foe after all. She was built to counter the confederate Ironclad being built. The fact that the south was building the CSS Virginia wasn't even a secret; it appeared in both northern and southern newspapers often with regular updates on the progress of the ship.


"Of course, I wouldn't forget you, you're family after all." Georgia says with a smile patting Monitor's head.

"I'm older than you," Monitor says pouting.

"Sorry, I blame archerfish. She keeps asking for head pats." Georgia says with a smile

"So? How does this work?" Monitor asks

"Just stand still and it's gonna sting a little," Georgia says pulling out a blue cube.

Georgia and Enterprise were driving through the state of Florida.

The state had seen better days. Disney had pulled out and failed after the 9 visited Disney California. The Zombie Mickey Mouse's running around attacking park guests did a lot to the Disney brand. Miami was fully underwater, and Meritt island was a ghost town. The island which in another world would be the spot for space tourism was abandoned.

"Are you sure that this is the right place Georgia?" Enterprise asks looking out the window of the borrowed tan honda odyssey.

"Yes, it is. Though this isn't how I remember it." Georgia says sadly.

Minutes later Georgia rolls up to a military checkpoint.
"Ma'am, are you lost?" The guard asks

One could hear the audible click of the safety being turned off of his M-16.

"I'm just trying to get to the Kennedy Space Center Visitor's complex," Georgia says

"It's been closed ever since the incident in 81." The guard says

"What happened in 81?" Georgia asks

The guard looks at Georgia skeptically. "Columbia was lost with all hands, between that and the golden man it killed the space program."

The radio suddenly barks to life on the guard's shoulder.

"Ma'am… I don't know who you are but they are saying to let you through. There are things the public yet doesn't know about. I suggest you stay quiet about them."

The guard heads back into the checkpoint and opens the gate for Georgia and Enterprise.

"I kinda wish we brought Independence and her escorts," Enterprise says

"I know right? I smell a mystery." Georgia says driving forward in the reappropriated van.

Georgia pulled up to the visitor center parking lot from her memories. The place was severely weathered and the concrete was cracked. There was a total of 3 cars in the lot.

"Georgia, why is it so empty?" Enterprise asks, trying to ignore the gloomy atmosphere.

"I don't know," Georgia says, putting the van into the park.

Enterprise opened the door and stepped out of the van.

Georgia was short to follow.

"I guess, we should head on in," Georgia says walking towards the ticket booth.

The first thing Georgia saw was a stone monument before she even came close to the rocket garden.

Georgia collapsed onto her knees upon reading that plaque.

"That's not what was supposed to happen. Scion didn't even appear until 82. The timeline should've been the same till then." Georgia mutters horrified.

"The disrepair is quite a sight isn't it?" A voice says behind Georgia and Enterprise.

James Hansen was the name of their guide.

It felt familiar to Georgia yet she couldn't tell why.

"I just want to say thank you for that pounding you gave the Simurgh," Hansen says

"What happened to this place." Georgia asked

"The golden man and the tinkers happened." Hansen

"It got this bad? What happened with the shuttle? I mean Columbia's launch was known to be a test launch. It being lost should've been a set back not the death of the space program." Georgia says

"You're correct, Challenger should've been done in 1983 instead. It's still half put together in a hangar. Congress cut the budget after STS-1, then the Parahumans showed up. They cut more budget, and someone showed our administrator the video footage from aboard Columbia and it was suspended indefinitely." Hansen answers

"Footage of Columbia?" Georgia asked

Hansen nods to himself.

"I can show you, your vice admiral friend gave you some amazing clearance. We found the camera intact among the debris." Hansen says

The trio walked toward where the IMAX should've been. Instead, it was an old theater that smelled of mold. The interior looked like it hadn't been updated since the 70s.

"You two take a seat, I am going to go start the film," Hansen says

"Thank you," Enterprise says knowing Georgia is still in shock.

The film begins several minutes into the launch.

"Crew is cleared 73 nautical miles down range." Mission control

"It's a pretty bumpy ride. Feel's like my truck." John Young says

The blue sky begins to turn dark.

"Velocity reading now 16 thousand 4 hundred feet per second." Mission control

The curve of the earth is clearly visible and it is an amazing sight even on an old film camera.

" Standing by for single engine press to Miko, call out from capcom, Brandon sight." Mission control

It's a tense few seconds as the shuttle begins to enter a suborbital path.

" From here you're a single engine. Press for Miko. You're good for orbital insertion even if two engines go out."

"Mark 7 minutes 30 seconds. Columbia, 67 nautical miles altitude, 4 hundred 85 down range."

"G force's building you're now up to 3 Gs."

"We are really feeling, it now." John Young says

"Mark, 7 minutes 45 seconds."

The entire camera view jolt's violently

"Master alarm going off!" John Young shouts

"Code 7700," Robert Crippen reiterates

"The cabin is depressurizing." Mission Control

"We Read you on the ground Columbia. Keep those suits on." Mission control

"WHAT IN THE HELL IS THAT!" John's panicked voice is picked up over the radio

The film camera facing out of the window had the Simurgh looking directly into it. A cruel smile on its face as its wings came down and sliced off the wing of Columbia.

"It's an Ang-" Robert's sentence was cut off as radio contact was lost.
The Orbiter was shredded by the end bringer.

The film camera goes fuzzy before it catches the flames of re-entry.

The camera cuts off again only to capture itself tumbling along the ground before facing upwards. It caught bits of debris falling to the ground.

It sat like that for several minutes shaking slightly as the pieces of the spacecraft hit the ground.

Georgia was clenching her hand. She had cut herself with her fingernails and was bleeding oil.

"That was 1981! Why was she there!" Georgia shouts.

"Shortly after that encounter, we started losing satellites by the dozen, Eventually decades of progress in space exploration was halted. We lost contact with our probes with nothing to relay the signal and every sattalite we put up she would knock down." Hansen says

"Our rematch will be much more decisive." Georgia state's flatly wishing she had used Katie shells and just killed the false angel in Australia.

"Why is this secret?" Enterprise asks

An endbringer appearing 20 years before her first known appearance should be a big deal.

"Regan, when he saw the footage back in 1981 didn't know that it was a monster. He didn't want it to be known that an angel of the lord had decided mankind didn't deserve to explore the heavens. Knowing what we know now, we know that monster isn't God's angel as much as Eden's gate and the Fallen argue otherwise." Hansen says

Enterprise nods "And you couldn't get the executive order overturned."

"Yep, trying to get an audience with the president in this current political climate is impossible too, why do we need engineers? We got tinkers. There are so many problems on earth, why would we need to go to space? Especially since SHE is blocking us from going beyond low earth orbit." Hansen says with as much spite as possible.

"Tinkers have ruined technological progress. I mean theoretically, we could copy what they do with rarer metals. However, the last time a device was made without a tinker tech component was 1995." Georgia says

Dragon Enterprises produced CPU chips at the cheap which was tinker tech it was impossible for manufacturers to match especially at the price the scrap component tinker tech device could get. That was one example of many, the tech was black-boxed by the space whale and ultimately damaged humanity in the long term.

Hansen nods in understanding.

"What would you two like to see?" Hansen asks

"Could you do the bus tour?" Georgia asks

Hansen looks at Georgia in shock.

"We don't really have the buses anymore, I could do a van tour for you," Hansen says

"I want to show Enterprise the Saturn V building. The Apollo program is something her daughter took part in so I think she would enjoy learning about it." Georgia says

Hansen looks at Enterprise with a critical eye.

"We can do that… So, the rumors are true?" Hansen asks

"That's right, she is CVN-6 and I am BB-70. USS Enterprise and USS Georgia respectively." Georgia says

"Well, you're not a Montana from what I've seen of the pictures so your the 18-inch gun paper ship which was never actually built.." Hansen says

"That's correct," Georgia says

A van suddenly rolls up to the area by the constellation ball where the bus terminal would've been in another world, in another time.

The old astronaut transfer van was still running, when in truth the Clark-Cortez motorhome long since belonged in a museum. The van had been running astronauts to the pad since the first Apollo missions.

"Well, let's go see a moon rocket," Hansen says

Georgia was following the old battle carrier, she was following the guided tour in awe.

Georgia was remembering a better time on a different earth. She had an annual pass to this place here every weekend she had off. She went to visit or see a launch. The last flight of the shuttle, the first successful Falcon 9, falcon heavy, and the Space Launch System were all a sight to see.

"So, the false angel started knocking down satellites and did nothing else after Columbia?" Georgia asks

"Every rocket we sent up was knocked down, the soviet Soyuz couldn't make it to space either. She's been up there doing nothing but stopping our progress into space. There was a gag order threatening anyone who talked about her with treason. Technically I am breaking it right now, but no one will charge me. She first appeared on earth in 2002, though we knew it was likely she would come down after Behemoth showed up.

Georgia is trapped in thought while Enterprise asks about the F1 engine.

Timeline-wise, it would make sense for Scion and Eden to try and land around the end of 1979. The Simurgh was activated first, probably something like stop the experiments from escaping. It was likely Eden's crash and following death is the only reason why all the other endbringer's weren't active until Eidolon.

"Right, Georgia?" Enterprise asks

"I'm sorry I was lost in thought," Georgia says blinking at Enterprise.

"I was saying that there is no way the soviets stood a chance when we had something as amazing as this." Enterprise says

"True, although the N1 was pretty genius in its own right." Georgia says

"You have details on the N1!?" Hansen shouts in shock

Georgia pauses again realizing the Iron curtain never fell here.

"Most of my knowledge is useless after 1989. Unless it's about the Slava of the black sea fleet." Georgia says

Hansen is shaking "H-how?"

Georgia smile's knowing that her smartphone could tell her anything about the old soviet union of her earth since most of the files leaked before Russia managed to resurrect the rust-covered iron curtain with dozens of holes in it a few decades later.

"We need to keep this quiet. The soviets would come after you in a heartbeat." Hansen says

"I could prepare an info packet. Though I am surprised that rusty old curtain is still up." Georgia says

"Not only is it up, but the B-52s are also still flying and the DEW line is still manned as unlikely as bombers are," Hansen says

"We still got nukes? I thought that the end bringers target those, I mean look at Behemoth getting the reactors and Leviathan sinking the nuclear subs as well. That Sunami in japan created an absolute ton of radioactive water." Georgia says

"We knew it was bad but, if they are deliberately attacking places with nuclear power or weapons it's a whole lot worse. Is anyone else aware of this?" Hansen asks

"I can give you a copy of my findings however I am not certain if the world is ready for that just yet. It seems a bit, much." Georgia says

"Can you possibly pass your info on the soviet union up through your admiral friend?" Hansen asks

"Sure, and I personally wish I had more info on the CIU. I don't near know enough about the Yagbang and the crap they pull." Georgia says

Hansen was starting to feel faint because she was mentioning organizations that were whispers in the intelligence community. His friends in the CIA would pay big money to pick her brain.

"Could we maybe see Challenger?" Georgia asks looking at her phone.

"I mean sure," Hansen says

The van pulled up to an old hangar. The place was clearly run down as chips of paint was flaking off of the tan walls.

"Welcome to the Orbiter processing facility. Or that's what it would've been." Hansen says with his arms wide open.

"There should've been a few more hangars." Georgia says and Hansen nods

Though unfortunately there was supposed to be three. Challenger would have been lost killed most large civilian payloads, Especially the loss of trust in NASA after Challenger. 15 years later Columiba was lost on re-entry, basically putting the program on its deathbed; it was safer to solely fly to the ISS so the silicon panels could be inspected. I mean could they have inspected the heat shielding without the ISS yes. The Canadaarm held a long boom with a camera on it which took several hours.

Hansen is fiddling with his keys at the door when Georgia wakes up from her thoughts.

The side door creaks open as Hansen shoulders it. The trio set their eyes on what was to once be a great spaceship, the door kicking no small amount of dust into the air which is lit up by the rays of light from the windows.

"Alright, come on in." Hansen says as a flick of a switch turns a few of the many lights on the roof.

Sitting there on the Nose of the orbiter was a girl. Her pale skin, glowing green eyes, and her translucent hair set her apart from most ship girls.

"Someone has come to visit me after so long?"

Georgia steps back at the sight of what was clearly a siren. Though the girl was also unarmed.

"Oh? You can see me?" The girl says hopping off the nose of the spaceplane.

"Challenger?" Georgia asks skeptically.

"Yes?" The girl asks with a head tilt.

Georgia pulls out a blue cube

"I feel like you need this as much as all the other ship spirits." Challenger says

"What is it?" Challenger and Hansen ask at the same time

"Wasn't there a test shuttle?" Enterprise asks out loud.

Hansen looks over at the carrier which shares a name with the space plane while Georgia shoves the cube forward into Challenger's chest.

"Ow, that was painful. Is that meant to hurt?" Challenger asks

"The state of your main body doesn't help." Georgia says looking around the much shorter girl towards the Oribter.

"Where is the Enterprise at?" Georgia asks

"It's slated for scrapping." Hansen says nervously.

"What would it take for you to give her up?" Georgia asks

"You want to buy Space Shuttle Enterprise?" Hansen asks

"Yes. I'll give you rocket plans. Maps of the universe, amazing photos that will drive astronomers insane." Georgia says

"That's"

"Not enough? Money isn't an issue. What if I were to kill the Simurgh for you? Last time I was enjoying the fight. This time it would be personal." Georgia says

Hansen starts to sweat realizing that Georgia was serious.

"I could just give her to you, Rumors of that Museum would be more than enough." Hansen says nervously

Challenger whistles in amazement.

"Take the deal Hansen, she knows a lot more than she should." Challenger says.

"International Space Station. Artemis, Orion. I could name the other 3 shuttles as well." Georgia says flatly watching Hansen's jaw drop.

"You're a space nerd? I thought those were extinct, especially with capes becoming prevalent." Hansen says

"Hansen, check your email later." Georgia says as she grabs Enterprise and starts marching towards the door.

Hansen was in his office the ship girls had come and left like a storm. He was stuck writing reports for ONI now. However the experience was worth it.

Logging into his email he sees a message that says I deliver on my promises.

Clicking the Email he sees a 500GB file.

"She does deliver on them I guess, that's a large file." Challenger says looking over Hansen's shoulder.

"It's compressed and still 500 gigabytes." Hansen says in shock wondering how that was sent through a single email.

Meanwhile on a cargo ship heading for Brockton Bay.

"Relocation to a Museum huh? Challenger sure seemed excited, shame she said she wouldn't ruin the surprise."

Georgia looks out at the city of Brockton Bay as they pull into port.

It was an exciting trip stopping by nearly every ship museum they could in the 6 days since they saw grandma texas.

(Will I write about her visiting them? Maybe as a side chapter.)

Georgia sighs as they all slowly pull into the docks.

"You okay?" Enterprise asks

"Yeah, it's just my birthday/ launching day," Georgia says

That gives the seasoned carrier pause. After all how could a ship that was never built have a launch date.

"Right, so… what do you want us to do?" Atlanta asks

"Well, you could have your crew work on the bunks? It should fit nicely near the convention center. Until then how about I summon someone's steel hull and we sleep aboard?" Georgia asks

"Could it not be my steel hull? I still have my prizes aboard." Archerfish says

"What kind of prizes…" Georgia says looking at the submarine.

The girl looks away and whistles innocently, which makes it more obvious that she's done something.

"I may have borrowed some stuff. It's normal for subs to have to acquire their own equipment and such." Archerfish explains

"That tells me nothing, what did you steal?" Georgia asks

"A pair of pants, this cool looks mask, a grenade launcher, some telephone wire, and a Mark 48 torpedo," Archerfish says dismissively.

"A pair of pants?" Enterprise asks confused

"Yeah, it belonged to that Alex woman," Archerfish says

"In LA? You pickpocket a pair of pants?" Georgia asks her head starting to hurt.

"Yes?" Archerfish responds

"Right, Atlanta you're hosting us tonight!" Georgia says summoning the cruiser's hull.

Surprisingly the city of Brockton bay did not panic at the sight of the massive cruiser in the bay. To them it was just a normal day.

Danny was looking out of his bedroom window and his instincts just told him it was going to be a long day. Or it might have been the massive Cleveland class cruiser sitting in the bay. It was hard to tell at this point.

"Dad, do you see the?!" Taylor shouts from upstairs

"Yes Taylor, I see it! It's a Cleveland class cruiser!" Danny shouts back

A much quieter "Georgia?" Is what follows Danny's shout.

The rig was in a panic after all when a massive cruiser showed up and your main base of operations was well within weapons range. It did a lot to make the government organization well and truly nervous.

"Armsmaster… do I even want to know?" Piggot asks, holding her forehead in her hand.

"Ma'am, even I have just decided to ignore them." Armsmaster admits.

"So we just are collectively deciding to ignore the active warship sitting in the bay?" Piggot asks to confirm.

"Considering how it is likely to become part of the museum, we should probably get used to a few warships in the bay." Armsmaster says

"What do you mean by a few?" Piggot asks

"Looking at their PHO page it's looking like it's going to be 5 ships that are there semi-permanently with 2 that swap out every month or so." Armsmaster says

"That would be beyond expensive if it wasn't for BB-70 and her powers… Wait, where do they store those ships while they aren't docked?" Piggot asks

"..."
"..."

"I guess I have to get the power testers and watchdog in a video call again." Armsmaster says

".... Why are the guns trained on the medhall building?" Piggot asks while squinting at the Cruiser.


"That is a very good question," Armsmaster says looking at the cruiser out in the bay.

Aunt Georgia was back in the bay and here to declare war on the gangs. Miss Enterprise seemed to despise lung and any remnants of the empire of japan. Though if there was one thing all of them hated it was Nazis. The fact that the navy was secretly backing the ship girls was the icing on the proverbial cake.

So the bay was about to have a lot of fun for a few weeks.

Lisa picks up the phone.

"Yes boss?" Lisa asks over the phone.

There is silence as the speaker in the phone buzzes. The blonde nodding every now and then listening to the crazy snake slither on as he tried his hardest to plot around the force of nature.

"Well, Boss ahead the sea lies calm awaiting the storm."

Dock E terminal 12 used to be an ocean liner dock ferrying people from Europe to the United states and back. Some of the great ocean liners had made port in Brockton from the Queen Mary to the SS America and SS United States.

So the facilities there saw a massive update and upgrade. The fact that it was near the slipways was a big factor in choosing it for the Brockton Bay naval museum. The fact that the drydock was just across the narrow was also another big reason for choosing it.

To be honest the most surprising part of the trip back was stopping to see Big Ten, after all in Georgia's original earth big 10 was scrapped because they couldn't risk taking her up the Mississippi river. While on earth Bet they did get her up the river she is just enjoying retirement in Memphis.

"So, what do you think?" Danny asks breaking Georgia from her thoughts

"It is a surprising amount of work for a union to get done. Especially since you are also technically a government contractor now." Georgia admits

"Well we had help." Danny admits

"Really, like an exterior company or cape help?" Georgia asks

"My help!" a voice says

Georgia suddenly sees a massive spot on the radar at point blank range as she whips around summoning her rigging.
"Who are you?" Georgia asks to see a girl who almost looks like she could be Taylors twin.

"I am Brockton bay." The installation says introducing herself.

"Oh, I made an installation? To be honest I wasn't expecting to be able to do that.' Georgia says as her rigging disperses into motes of light.

"Well you did," Bay says

"I just realized Panama also probably became one as well." Georgia says a little worried.

"I have a vice admiral's phone number." Danny says.
"Yeah if you could give me that and I'll give him a call when it's not sunday," Georgia says

"I'll say that your timing is impressive. Enterprise should be arriving tomorrow." Danny says

"Yay another surprise for the Big E then." Georgia says with a smile.

Brockton Bay laughs a bit before looking at Georgia

"You aren't gonna tell Enterprise her daughter is coming?" Bay asks barely suppressing her giggling

"It's gonna be a great reunion." Georgia says with a nod.

Though archerfish seemed adamant about needing to sleep in the bottom of a pool.

Clamagore Archerfish's younger sister agreed with the slightly crazy sub.

"I don't understand why you think bunk beds underwater is a good idea. Slightly crazy submarine." Georgia says

The scene in front of her was a freshly blasted hole in the ground filled with water with two floating mattresses atop it.

"Why am I called slightly crazy again?" Archerfish asks

"You used the mark 14 torpedo as a blunt weapon." Georgia says unfazed

"It wasn't gonna detonate anyways. I was told by Balao to try and get a mark 10 whenever I could. The mark 14 might as well have been used as dummy training rounds." Archerfish says with a hand flourish.

"We all know nicked a mk 48 from pearl." Georgia says

"There is no proof of that." Archerfish replies ginning like a cat.

"She did what now?"

Archerfish and Georgia look over to see vice admiral Abraham Avatar.

"Ah, vice admiral… What brings you here?" Georgia asks

"Enterprise and her escorts pull in tomorrow of course I am going to be here for the debrief." Avatar says.

"It took her a while to get here." Georgia remarks

"They had to take Roberts undertow. Her rudder was knocked out and the hull had some nasty damage done to it." Avatar admits

" So what is this i hear about plundering the naval warehouse?" Avatar asks

"I just acquired the necessary supplies the old fashioned way."

"That… Can you point out the security flaws you saw on base?" Avatar says

"I didn't steal anything." Archerfish insists

"Yes definitely not especially with the-" BOOM Georgia is cut off by an explosion as automatic gunfire is heard in the background.

Then that of course is followed up by several dozens of explosions and low flying aircraft.

"There goes the naval brigade." Georgia mutters

An ear shattering roar is heard in the distance.

"Is that a dragon? Almost sounds like New Jersey's cannons." Archerfish comments shaking with excitement.

"Hey, you should summon Nevada and Prinz Eugen to join!" Archerfish says

Piggot was drinking something hard. She didn't know the exact name of the Liquor however she needed it Tagg was doing something stupid.
He managed to usurped her control of the local PRT with his own prt forces and planned a joint operation against BB-70 or Georgia.

Her name Georgia Beryl was probably the most open secret she had. Her base at the new historic dock over in the dockyards was a well-established fact.

Luckily her officers were not idiots so they also called out sick. If only the grunts could've seen the threat ratings.
Thought all those poached from the marines were nowhere to be seen.

"Leaked a ward identity." That was what Tagg is planning to bring her in with and force her into the PRT. The fact that she bodied an endbringer and came out no worse for wear meant nothing to the dense idiot. He is worse than Pierre Sprey, worse than Captain James M. Shoemaker, worse than Douglas Haig. He would cause the death of the PRT if he had the power he wants.

The radio barks to life causing Emily to turn the volume up.

2 Gage Rangers, 2 lancio Bearcats and 1 Bradley Fighting vehicle.

The air around the bay had been declared a no fly zone. As helicopters dotted the skies and a few phone calls were made to some friends for some SAMs.

Did he burn a few contacts, sure, and all he seemed to do while calling the navy was piss them off. Well, that one secretary laughed for a full minute before hanging up on him.

"Sir we are almost there.. Are you sure you wanna do this?" A man wearing a prt combat uniform and gas mask asks.

"Absolutely, we need to show them that they can't just keep getting away with it." Tagg says

"Getting away with what sir?"

"She leaked a ward's identity." Tagg says

"Why is the youth guard not involved where the protectorate is?"

The transport rocks as they enter the roads by the docks.

"Armsmaster will be meeting us there. Thomas Calvert called in a few friends and the Wild Geese have been hired for this." Tagg says

"Wild Geese? The French group?"

The armored transport continues to shake as it rolls over potholes.

"I feel like the protectorate should've been able to field more people for this sir."

"It's an off the book operation. It was hard to get what we got for this mission." Tagg admits

"…"

Tagg looks over to see the driver door open and the driver not there.

The convoy comes to a stop as Tagg takes over driving the bearcat.

Georgia finding her was a surprise considering she was stuck to an Oerlikon 20mm cannon which had made its way aboard Kidd in February of 1972.
The destroyer seemed extremely happy to have a pirate for a sister.
The installation girl freezes for a second before running off towards the city.

"Fletcher, come on!" Bay shouts making amazing speed for an installation.

The redheaded destroyer looks on in amazement before chasing after Brockton Bay.

James Tagg the warpig of Arizona a man universally hated by both hero and villain capes alike, if they even call him a man, marched down the halls of the RIG flanked by 4 of his loyal troopers. As the procession maneuvered towards Director Piggot's door with a folder in hand and a mad smile adorning his lips he knocks on the door with a jolly beat.

"Come in." came Piggot's voice from the other side of the door. Opening the door to the all but broken woman's office. Briefly casting an intuitive eye at the 5 men she sighed and spoke once more. "Good morning, Director Tagg, how can the ENE assist you today?"

"I have with me orders from Chief Director Brown ordering a series of joint training exercises between the ENE and the WSE. As per the rules of the joint training you Director Piggot will be 'hospitalized due to injuries sustained during the Elisburg incident' and I will be temporarily the acting director of the ENE. Any questions?" replied Tagg with a smug grin while sliding over the folder in his hand. Emily picked up the documents and read them confirming all that the warpig of Arizona said was true. Lightly putting down the folder she nodded, got up and grabbed her cane and started walking out the door. But before she opened the door to go, she turned around and looked at Tagg in the eyes.

"I will inform you this before I step down for a little bit. Brockton bay will take you and chew you up only to spit you back out, and I am not talking about the capes either." With a dark smile spreading across her scared face, "The local swat team consists of former special forces from all branches, 3 of the ambulance paramedics are former PJs, and the dockworkers are predominantly ex-military with a good portion of that being Seabee's if I remember correctly. All of them are barely holding their ground against the Empire and the ABB regulars, and not the street grunts that are grade A idiots, no these are the guys who show when a gang fight occurs. So, I would encourage you to rethink your usual policies when guiding this branch."

"I will keep that in mind." Responded Tagg with a dismissive wave.

After Familiarizing himself with the office over the next hour he hopped on the intercom, "Will Thomas Calvert report to the director's office." After waiting for 5 minutes a well-dressed man with a 'PRT Consultant' badge walked into the office.

"You wanted to see me?"

"Yes, I am in need of some additional forces for an off the books operation to arrest the rogue villain known as Georgia Beryl code name BB-70, and bring her to justice. I am aware that due to the nature of Fortress construction you have had to hire mercenaries to protect new construction sites yes."

"I do believe that I can get some contractors to do this job. It may take a while for them to get here however."

"You have 3 days."

Thomas nodded and walked out of the room before smiling to himself. "This might be the golden opportunity to get rid of that pesky woman." Meanwhile inside the office Tagg had a maniacal smile at the thought of bringing the defiant cape to heel, and daydreaming of having her as his personal attack dog.

The next day

Fortress construction meeting room

"So, this is the only mercenary group willing to do the job? This is 12 people with some FAMAS's."

"Do not worry director, we have a platoon coming in tomorrow with all ze extra gear. Zo tell us what is ze Wild Geese hunting."

Looking at the director Thomas sighed, "We had to give rough estimates on the casualties, they were the only ones to show up." Before pulling out a folder and tossing it across the table. "Gentlemen that is what we are hunting. Georgia Beryl also known as Battlewagon BB-70. Inside is the strategy that we will be using to capture her. Any questions?" As none were made, he nodded, "Good familiarize that packet and prepare for the operation."

Kenta had been planning to attack the dock workers. Yet he never would've imagined the day that the PRT beat him to the punch. He also never imagined his roof would be blown off by naval artillery but hey there is a first for everything.

The ground shakes as an Apache hits the ground, detonating it's missiles.

"What in the hell." Lung mutters

"Lung-sama…"

"I know, we should go to ground. If those girls are attracting this much heat I do not want to be around for the aftermath." Kenta says

Fletcher had felt like she had been hit by a bus and the bus lost. The Bearcat was in a sorry state. Though Bay had led her into an ambush to ambush the ambusher. Well according to the hyper active installation it was something like that.

Now there was a ruined bearcat leaking oil all over the road and she had a dent. Which was the equivalent to a rather nasty bruise.

"Ow that hurt. Did Warspite run into me?" Fletcher asks rethorically, popping her shoulder back into place.

The totaled bearcat was unable to respond however the Bradley did. The armored fighting vehicles 25mm shells pinged off the human-shaped destroyer. Only a few that had hit center mass were able to break the "skin" of the girl. Which caused a small oil leak.

"A fight? Yay!" Fletcher cheers summoning her rigging.

The fairy crew sending out a distress signal would ensure everyone else would come join the fun.

Stanley had been a prt trooper for 5 years. He survived the Lung massacre and so many other live fire incidents. So many that some had begun to doubt that he was human, even himself. Stanley also had the history of being a master victim. He is the only surviving victim of the bucket.

Stanely has a hatred for steel masters. Kaiser, The Bucket… Georgia fit that bill according to the PRT. So he hated the battleship cape. When Tagg came to him it was a match made in heaven. Stanley was able to get a few squads to follow the idiodic plan and here they were storming the docks.

That was until a red blur ran in front of the convoy. The lead Bearcat hit the object a near top speed and did a somersault. The 8 Ton armored transport which most people would qualify as an unstoppable force had hit an apparent unmovable object and lost.

The front rambar was shoved inside the engine bay while the truck itself rested on its ceiling engine oil drizzling down from the bonnet which now held the shape of contemporary art.

The bump on the road starts to pick itself up. Its joints move irregularly popping back into place before the creature stares at the rest of the convoy, its eyes glowing an Incandescent yellow.

"Holy hell shoot that thing!" Stanley shouts as Bradley's main gun locks onto the humanoid opening fire.

20 rounds are fired in just under 5 seconds causing the figure to stagger back.

"Lights! Turn on the search light!" Is shouted by the driver.

The high beam cuts on illuminating the girl right as her rigging as it was called starts to form from blue particles of light. The maniac grin on the girls face along with the fact she was bleeding black blood made even some of the veterans literally shit themselves.

"Hit her with the TOW!"

"But sir?"

"NOPE NOPE FIRE IT!"

The Tube-launched, Optically tracked, Wire-guided missile missed the ship girl by a good two feet blowing a massive crater into the concrete.

"Fuck we missed!" Stanely shouts as there is a bright flash and the Bradley was no more As a high explosive shell had detonated all the stored missiles and ammo causing a roaring explosion.

Georgia is looking into the distance as planes start to drop flares and star shells are shot into the air. One hitting an unlucky helicopter blowing it to kingdom come.

"What in the hell is going on over there? Are the ABB trying to attack us or something? I mean, isn't Lung smarter than that… Was that an apache? How would a gang get their hands on that?" Georgia asks rhetorically.

Did she know they had military vehicles? Yes, Fletcher broadcasted that. However, she needed to play it up for vice admiral Avatar. Some of the trump cards the fleet had should remain hidden. As obvious as they were.

"I need to make a few calls." Avatar says

Georgia continues to look out the window as 20mm and 40mm tracer rounds fill the air hunting the helicopters.

The bay had its normal mornings then it had mornings like this. One of the biggest ships in the United States Navy with over 60 thousand tons of steel used in its construction was pulling into the decrepit old port. The ship looked pristine with its gray paint, The 3 ships following behind it FFG-58, DDG-78, and DDG-94.
While that was happening and distracting the masses the police were conducting a raid on Winslow. To say the unions had pull with one another would be an understatement. The Teachers Union had also decided to abandon and kick out several members who worked at Winslow the previous night. So it was open season as soon as the superintendent figured out what was going on.

Yet the navy provided the perfect distraction. The fire that was Shadow Stalker's crimes was about to burn uncontrollably.

Georgia who was stalking the police radio waves stared at Danny and just watched the man yawn.

"Too early for you or did you not sleep at all?" Georgia asks

"Second one," Danny admits

"Can I just say you managed to light a fire under the protectorate's ass with this." Georgia murmurs

"Can't wait till Taylor finds out. You need to come over for dinner." Danny says

"If you would have me… It is way too tempting to make an inappropriate joke there." Georgia says

"Woman, I am a dock worker, try me," Danny remarks sarcastically.

"Nah, it's ruined now," Georgia says with a laugh.
"Do you ever sleep?" Danny asks

"I am equipped for night operations, Danny. So in other words sleep is for the weak."

"I dare you to say that 10 years from now," Danny says with a laugh.

"I'll still be the same as now, Danny. Enterprise is 75 after all." Georgia says with a smirk.

"Say you know that girl Fletcher?" Danny asks

"Yeah? I mean she's not as bad as her sister Johnston or William. Though she can still cause some chaos." Georgia admits

"She looks like a younger Emma Barnes so please try to keep her away from Taylor." Danny says

"They are their own people, Mr. Hebert. I don't control them." Georgia says

"… Right sorry, I forgot you're not actually a parahuman." Danny says, yawning.

"Are you going home to take a nap?" Georgia asks

"Probably, I'm a bit worn out." Danny admits

"Go home and get some rest, old man." Georgia says with a slight giggle.

"Sure thing grandma," Danny says as he walks away.

"Hey!" Georgia shouts

"You're invited to dinner tonight. Taylor is making Ann's Lasagna." Danny mentions as he closes his office door behind him.

Enterprise was with Saltlake at the dry dock locks. The wounded carrier was lumbering its way in and to say the girl sitting on the edge of the flight deck was the spitting image of Enterprise would be a lie. To the carrier herself, it was like looking in a mirror.

"Is that your hat?" Salt lake asks

"It appears to be. I mean the one Georgia got for me was nice but if I could have the real deal back that would be nice." Enterprise says

The white rim naval captain's hat was nice however having her hat back would… well actually her daughter should carry on with it.

"Never mind… let's help them get the mooring lines down," Enterprise says

Saltlake nods before following the carrier.

Lewis was sitting down in a courtroom. A judge was here and a jury was being assembled. The police raid happening at the same time was something Danny organized with the Police union to throw off the opposition. After all, how was black well going to be here with her lawyer if the police were raiding her office for evidence?

The school board was looking at corruption while the PRT was likely to get hit with gross negligence of duty. The poor agency thought it could settle out of court however Lewis smelled blood in the water and the local judge and the judge or the circuit court had a bone to pick with the agency themselves.

A specific group should've known that's what happens when you purposely put parahuman-hating judges into power so you can have Canary thrown in the birdcage for an accident. Truly shot themselves in the foot there.

Lewis's phone rings suddenly, along with the judges and the lawyer for the PRT.

"I think we should all pick up." The judge says.

Taylor was on a beach standing in the water. .The sun setting behind her, as the waves broke crashing into her legs. It was that recurring dream where she just stared out, and sometimes something seemed to stare back.

The sunsets, the sky turns dark, and the ocean is glowing blood red. With black splotches spreading it had the consistency of oil. All it would take was a spark to ignite an ocean of flames.
"You don't need to be afraid of the ocean my little owl."
The air starts to ring after those words were said and Taylor flips around managing to catch a glimpse of her mother's face.

6:00 Am

The ringing of a classic alarm clock is going off. Until a small squad of insects crawls into the bells deafening the ringing. However, it was too late. Taylor was awake.

The teen was wide awake after a dream like that. Though she was slow to start her morning routine, taking time to try and figure out what the dream meant. It may have been a Monday however she had not been to school in just under a month. She hadn't gone since the Union Lawyer filed a lawsuit against the windslow.

The clinking of cereal hitting the interior of an empty glass bowl is heard as she prepares her breakfast. A thought has a small bug flick on the TV as the old CRT box lit up the kitchen.

Commercials played for a bit as Taylor poured herself some milk.

"Thanks, Paola, I am standing here just outside the DWU headquarters where last night a rogue commander of the PRT decided to conduct a raid against the cape everyone knows as BB-70."

The reporter says ignoring the helicopter that is burning in the background.

The sun hadn't even risen yet, as flames flickering lit the road.

Taylor pauses her jaw wide open with a spoon in front of her face as she just stares at the tv as the camera pans across the battlefield.

"What the fuck did they do?"


"That's right folks Emily Piggot was found tied up in her office this morning having been kidnapped while James Tagg did a hostile takeover of the local protectorate. However, that appears to just be the start of this rabbit hole. Several rogue members of the East North East are dead having decided to challenge a battleship to a gunfight. Though from what this reporter has heard Tagg survived and is likely to face trial."

"You know Micheal, this reminds me of the time when the KGB fought Soviet Hero Stalingrad." Paola

"Yes, the crazy tinker that was claiming to be a ship… Actually, considering the circumstances she may not be as crazy as we thought." Micheal says coming to a revelation.

Stalingrad was a tinker cape that specialized in miniaturizing naval weaponry. She also had a slight mover and brute rating able to move on top of water and tank conventional arms fire… At this rate, it is likely that ship girls would get the rumored case number with how common they are becoming. Though it would likely be a year or so before it leaked out. The PRT leak information like a sieve however the gangs that get the info tend not to spread it especially if it would give people hope.

Not like Taylor had to worry too much about it.

Piggot

Emily had managed to fake her own kidnapping. She wasn't getting saddled with the idiot's actions. He was given just enough rope to hang himself and he somehow managed to hang an army field office along with a portion of the PRT ENE.

If it wasn't for the M/S protocol that activated as soon as Piggot was found tied up in her office it was likely that Armsmaster would've gone along with the ill-fated plan.
The hero was truly a glory hound. Did he honestly think he could win against a force of nature?

"Colin you fucking idiot…" Piggot mutters looking at the protectorate leaders sign off on the form to attack Georgia.

Piggot was about to call and berate the tinker when there is a knock on the door.

"Ma'am… ONI are here, they are not happy."

"Let them in. Our men went crazy and attacked a port facility which was about to receive a nuclear aircraft carrier. What makes you think they would be happy?" Piggot asks

"Is there a chance we could blame this on the bucket? I mean Seargent Stanely was a victim of it?"

"That would help deflect the blame, however, I don't see it completely covering our asses," Piggot says

"It could be a long-term master effect like a certain endbringer."

"That would work if it wasn't the navy. We all know ONI employs parahumans as much as they claim they don't. I know for certain that one-twentieth of the think tank is on a navy payroll." Piggot says.

"Ma'am we are getting casualty reports in." An officer announces.

"How many?" Piggot asks

"Too many" The officer replies handing her a printout.

"Dumas died? Someone find his friend, tell her to call his parents." Piggot says

"Reardé ma'am? Are you sure that's a good idea? She's talented but a bit out there." the officer asks

"Send her in, I'll talk with her," Piggot says

With the mess of, the docks she'd completely forgotten about a specific ward.

Georgia was driving her car trying to get away from the chaos that was the dock workers union. The amount of destroyers and submarines made it pure havoc. Let's put our beds in the pool so we can sleep underwater. What do you mean that's not a pool? It's clearly a pool! Or these are oil drums? We thought they were depth charges? We can't throw depth charges out into the bay? Are you certain? Fletcher was trying her best to reel in some of them but the redhead was part of the problem too. Luckily BB-34 was there along with Nevada to hold down the fort allowing Georgia to go out on the town. Enterprise was off with her daughter who now had a physical form. Salt Lake had followed along and Georgia had no clue where they went.

Brockton bay, the place that put Detroit and Columbus Ohio to shame. The abandoned houses were likely already stripped for the valuable metals in the piping and wiring; the buildings didn't even look livable. Georgia was slowly driving down the patchwork road till her GPS told her she had arrived. The fact that the GPS on her phone worked knowing there are little to no satellites in space still surprised her.

Georgia pulls in next to the corvette stingray. Meta knowledge means she knows that Danny only has that old truck, so it is likely she is not the only one over for dinner.

CVN-65 was sitting at the edge of the flight deck as her crew finished with the Mooring lines. She noticed a Green haired teen following behind a woman who could only be her mother. It was like looking in a mirror as the two disappeared up the gangplank. Enterprise adjusted her prosthetic left arm, something she did whenever she got nervous which wasn't often.

Enterprise CVN-65 looks out towards the city before she hears a cough behind her.
The nuclear carrier spins around on her heels like she had a gimbaling propeller.

"Mom?" CVN-65 asks her voice squeaking a little.

"You've gotten so big!" Enterprise says as she launches herself hugging her daughter.
The last time CVN-6 saw her daughter was as she was being scrapped.

CVN-65 was smart and just took the hug from momma Enterprise.

"Enty what happened to your left arm?" Enterprise asks

Causing the other carrier to flush red before flinching.

"It started when the exhaust from a jet ignited several rockets." Enty says

Her mother suddenly flinches, hugging her tighter.

"The explosion threw aircraft fuel everywhere and ignited it. Most the planes at my rear were caught in the fire, and since they were on the flight deck they were fully loaded." Enty says sadly remembering her crew running into the flames only for a bomb to explode and wipe them all out before more took over attempting to fight the fire.

"Let's go somewhere." Enterprise suddenly says

"People can't see me you know?" Enty says

"Georgia gave me this." Enterprise says holding out a blank mental cube.

"What is that?" Enty asks

Suddenly the blue glowing cube is shoved into her chest as she suddenly feel like she is no longer physically tied to the ship. Is the ship still her? Yes though, now it's an extension of herself.

Georgia nervously knocks on the door. She was never good at social things she was so good at faking it she could fool herself and others.

"It's open come in!"

Georgia walks into the house leaving her sandals at the door.
"Georgia? Welcome to our home!" Taylor says with a smile suddenly hugging the cape.

'Uh what? When was Taylor ever like this?' Georgia wonders knowing meta knowledge was a cheat but with ship girls who knew what was going on.

"I'm excited to have you here! I made my mother's lasagna so you better enjoy it!" Taylor says with a brilliant smile.

'Okay, no what in the hell is happening?'

"You? like Italian food?" Georgia asks

"Yep! It's good though foods that are Americanized are great too." Taylor says

"Don't mind her when she gets into an Italian mood she'll have us call her Lanciere. Though she hasn't done that in years." Danny says

" Alright then?" Georgia says sitting down at the table.

"Georgia, I wanted to thank you for getting the dry dock working, and agreeing to defend the fleet while it's at port." Avatar says

"Your welcome vice admiral." Georgia says with a smile

"I've got a gift for you." Avatar says sliding a Manila folder over to Georgia.

"Look at it in a secure location and I didn't give that to you." Avatar says

Georgia nods in response.

Taylor suddenly barges in humming anchors aweigh as she puts the Lasagna down on the table.

Georgia suddenly hears a cough behind her.

When no one else reacted Georgia decided to turn around anyway.

"Warspite?" Georgia asks

In truth, the only thing the girl shared with the Azur lane game was the sword she looked like an Artoria Pendragon from Fate.

"Finally you took forever getting here you know?" Warspite says with a smile.

"You knew I was coming? You're a British ship, how could you possibly understand my thoughts and logic?" Georgia asks

"What do you mean, you Americans have such simple logic? If one gun isn't enough, let's add more of them. How many anti aircraft guns do you have on board?" Warspite asks sarcastically.

"Enough to supply the enemy with a sufficient amount of freedom." Georgia replies, puzzling everyone else in the room. Warspite giggles.

"You yanks are as entertaining as always."

"Georgia, who are you talking to?" Danny asks

"Warspite, for some reason she's here in your house." Georgia replies

"Ah, Anne liked to collect warship memorabilia, we have a small segment of Warspites' armor plating in a box here in the house." Danny says

Warspite was watching as the not a naval base was under construction by the dock workers.

"They are not as efficient as they used to be… it must be all of that work safety stuff I keep hearing about." Warspite says to herself.
"I like it better this way. An installation is nothing without its workers." A voice says behind her.

Warspite turns around and looks at the girl in shock.

"Taylor, what are you doing out here?" Warspite asks

"I am actually an installation girl Warspite. I am Brockton bay." The girl says

"Warspite!" Is shouted in cheer in the distance.

The old battleship turns to see Nevada and New York approaching her.

"Friends," Warspite says in shock.

Georgia was sitting down in her office.

"Hey?"

"Yes, though we need to get more creative. Not much has been done to improve cannons so we need to enhance them where we can. Des Moines-class have automatic cannons and we could just scale up the design from Salem." Georgia says

"Hey?"

"You can prepare it, however, I want to see a better design with less wear, maybe a coil gun. We could call it a Mass accelerator cannon. It would have to be mounted in the front of the hull." Georgia says
"Hey?"

"I want to save weight so how about transferring to Gas or Diesel instead of oil?" Georgia asks her crew

"Hey…."

"Right the folder from Avatar, let's see what it is." Georgia says opening it and dumping the contents onto the table.

"Hey Hey!"

Georgia just stares at the paperwork in front of her. Did she know what some of these systems were? Yes, though she didn't expect the navy to have the LAWS system in 2011 that wasn't really used into the 2020s on her earth, then there was the rail gun schematics followed by a plan for a nuclear power plant for herself. Well, it was for a modified Montana class which was never built, however, it could easily fit inside her hull. It actually saved some room considering she wouldn't need the fuel bunkers anymore.


Georgia is suddenly stuck staring at another paper. Well, a letter is sealed with the presidential seal and was at the bottom of all the blueprints she had gotten.

The ship girl carefully opens the letter reading it.

"April 10th I am to report to Washington DC to revive a Presidential unit commendation," Georgia says in shock.

A small battle star also falls out of the envelope.

"Is this because of the endbringer fight?" Georgia mutters.

When all was done Georgia was looking at a massive retrofit.

Modern triple base powder for propelling the shells.

There is also a large coil rail down the middle of her bow which acts as an impromptu MAC cannon. The weapon of mass destruction still needs to be fit and programmed properly however her crew is going to start work on its installation during this retrofit.

"Christ. How long am I going to be in the drydock for?" Georgia mutters as her phone starts to ring.

The caller Id is for Sarah.

"Sarah? Is everything okay?" Georgia asks

"I am coming over cousin, Coil found out I am plotting against him and he is after me." Sarah says in panic.

"What about your team?" Georgia asks
"They are coming as well, sorry for the little to no notice," Sarah says sadly.

"Sarah, are you sure we need to burn this place!?" Is shouted in the background.

"Alec the boss turned on us. We need to run, burn it all, anything to help cover our tracks." Sarah shouts back.

"The destroyers will meet you at the gate," Georgia says as her crew dials up the radio.

Georgia looks at the calendar and realizes today was the day the undersiders were supposed to rob the ruby dreams casino.

The timeline matters not. The bay was going to see its war.

Emily Piggot woke up to incessant knocking on her door.
Little did the portly woman know that the knocking was happening all over the United States.

In New York legend was having his door knocked on. In LA Alexandria was having hers knocked on. In Huston Eidolon was having his. Even in DC Rebecca Costa Brown was having her door pounded on.

Piggot swings the door open.
"Hello?"
An envelope is suddenly thrown in her face.

"You've been served!" He shouts as he starts to run away.

Piggot looks at the envelope before sighing to herself.

"God damnit," Piggot mutters

Georgia was staring at what appeared to be a tear in reality in front of her.

A kid with naturally green hair falls out of it.

"Umm… you okay kid?" Georgia asks

"Ow… I think so. Did I get knocked into next week?" The kid asks

"It's 2011. Feels like a blast from the past." Georgia says half-heartedly since it is the past for her yet to her surprise the kid panics.

"Damnit Mei, this why I said your babies shouldn't involve wormholes." He mutters Georgia just barely able to understand it.

"This doesn't look like Japan."

"It's not? This is America. Why would you be interested in the small island nation anyways? I mean they have been suffering since the Island of Kyushu was sunk."

"What? That's impossible. The island was saved well over 200 years ago when the endbringer thing was killed by the savior." Broccoli says

The teen turns and looks at Georgia before freezing up entirely.

"It's actually 2011… Oh, dear Almight. you're Georgia! Cousin of the black dragon, bringer of the fleet, savior of Japan, hero of the human race…" the boy mutters both horrified and in wonder.

"Okay… So time travel fuck my life didn't need to know all of that." Georgia mutters

"You speak Japanese!? Wait no I shouldn't have let you know those things."

Georgia squints at the boy before realizing that live-action anime is horrible.

"Midori… I know a great many things already. I'm already planning to kill the great lizard. And good old Smurf wants to stay away from me at the moment." Georgia says smiling

Midoriya flinches at the bad pronunciation of his name.

"You know me?" Midoriya asks

"All for one and one for all." Georgia says smiling

"How? What? … It's a shame you die in the collapse. You would've continued to be a great hero." Midoryia mutters the final part.

Suddenly the Broccoli disappears out of thin air probably being ripped back to the future.

"Collapse? Oh lord the great collapse won't be our end. When the world falls into the flames we will rise again." Georgia sings

The cape walks away continuing to sing unknowing of the cellphone now recording her.

Unknown to Georgia a woman wearing a fedora on a parallel earth was having a seizure.

"Okay, way too much information. My hero Academia happens in the future? Maybe I'll see it someday. This must be part of the chaos era for them." Georgia says trying not to giggle.

Sarah had finally arrived at the docks. To say she was surprised by the girl standing in front of her would be an understatement.

"You're related to Cassin right?" Sarah asks

"How could you tell?" Fletcher asks

"Your five inch guns look similar. You've also got 5 of them. If you squint most countries would probably mistake you for a cruiser." Sarah says

Fletcher giggles at that statement.

"You know the ship girls." Brian mutters

"Of course I do, Georgia called me her cousin. Which I kinda am in a way." Sarah says

"You don't look like an Iowa or a Montana class though." Fletcher says

"My dad was part of her crew." Sarah says

"That would do it…" Fletcher mutters

"We tend to look after our crew. I wish I could've seen Enterprise and Dick Best when those cameras were turned off. Probably a lot of mothering he was one of her best pilots after all." Fletcher says smiling

"Where do I keep dogs?" Rachel asks

"Georgia talked to Danny about you. Would you be up for training dogs?" Fletcher asks

"I like dogs." Rachel says

Fletcher just nods at the statement.

"Well since Georgia is out I believe she left the care of the base to Nevada and New York," Fletcher says

"She's out?" Sarah asks

"She went for a stroll and said she would be back in April," Fletcher admits.

"That's more than 2 weeks," Sarah says in shock

"Ready as I'll ever be," Georgia says

She was trying to sound brave but in truth leaving the docks unsupervised for two weeks scared her.

"Is the area secured?" Georgia asks

"Hey?"

"That's not a yes though it'll work, I trust Taylor," Georgia mutters as she lays down in a steel tub and the world goes dark.

"Carol… why are we taking a drive at this ungodly hour?" Amelia asks

"My lawyer senses are tingling so my dear daughter I'm going to visit an old friend… make sure you take a good look at his daughter okay?" Carol says

Amy freezes, that was the first time Carol had ever called Amy her daughter to her face. Something fishy was going on. Carol seemed nervous… She rarely ever tapped on her steering wheel except for the week leading up to a big case.

"Carol. What have you done?" Amelia asks

"Nothing that can be proven in a court of law sweetie," Carol says absently as she is looking out at a house.

Amy, having had enough of it, gets out of the passenger seat and starts walking back up the road.

"AMY DALLON WHAT ARE YOU DOING?"

"I don't feel like being an accomplice to what is likely a premeditated crime." Amy states bluntly as she starts to run.

The healer was legging it. Having hopped a fence she was trying to clear obstacles and break her line of sight. Once that was done she could hide and be in the clear. This isn't the first time she has run from her adoptive mother.

There is a tearing sound as Amy had caught her foot on something. With a crash, a section of the backyard she is in collapses and the healer is taken by the earth.

If one were to look at the hole the healer had created they would see it was being patched up post haste by a significant number of ants.

In the dining room of the Herbert family.
Taylor was eating eggs while her dad sat across from her eating cereal.

Taylor was feeling happier these days. It probably had to do with sneaking out to the docks and befriending the ship girls. Not that her dad needs to know about it. The fact Fletcher looks like a younger Emma Barnes is kind of disturbing, however, she doesn't feel like the current Emma Barns more like the old one who was practically her sister.

Taylor's head snaps up looking at her dad.

"Is everything alright little owl?" Danny asks

"Not really, I have to go check something." Taylor says in mild panic.

"If it's that bad then go. I do want to hear about it later." Danny says

Taylor nods her head before she takes off out of the door.

Danny sighs to himself, he's noticed his daughter is getting shorter.

"Maybe it's just the bug powers changing her… Hopefully." Danny mutters looking over at a locked box Annette had stored away.

"Be careful who we spread this to. That singer is considered a messenger by our lord. If they were to find out she fought an angel on even grounds." Mathers says

"It would be interesting though. Shouldn't we test her faith?" Joseph says

"I don't think she is going to go to Montana." Mathers says

"Send the Crowleys then. They love the violence." Joseph says
"Why not your children?" Mathers asks

"Jacob would be the only one who stood a chance and it wouldn't go to well." Joseph says

"Your visions tell you that?" Mathers asks in shock causing the cult leader to nod.

Amy grabs her head and it is pounding in pain. Then again she hit it on her landing so that was bound to happen.

"Where the hell am I?" Amy mutters as she gets up unsteadily

Amy squints as the low light of the cave is barely enough to see.

"Don't head towards the light Amelia. I wouldn't need to if you let me have my utility belt." Amy mutters as she starts to follow the light farther down the dirt and stone cave.

Unseen by Amy an army of insects was observing her.

Amy eventually finds the source of light.

It was Georgia in a tub full of black blood. Her body was dismembered as her eyes sat open looking at the door frame. She was dead.
Amy opened her mouth to scream as a gloved hand covers her mouth.

"Don't scream, she's fine." A female voice says

"She is and I quote undergoing a retrofit and left me here to guard her." The voice says

Amy panics because a bio tinker had captured one of the strongest capes in the city and was experimenting with her.

Amy struggled free and ran her hand through the figure holding her captive insects died in droves as Amy attempted to kill her attacker.

Amy had killed thousands of insects before she realized it was insects that were dying her vision was no longer blurry as the adrenaline wore off.

"You calmed down yet?" the voice asks again

"What is going on here?" Amy asks

"Georgia decided to do a retrofit. Her body is slowly modifying itself and she will come out stronger. According to her." Taylor says, stepping out of the shadows.

"That is idiotic," Amy says

"She knew she would be vulnerable and decided to do her upgrade in my den rather than at the docks." Taylor says

"True, everyone is watching the docks… Who are you?" Amy asked

"I haven't decided on a cape name yet, however, I am allied with the ships." Taylor admits

At the Hebert household.
Taylor and Amy had become quick friends after their chance encounter in taylors bug nest. The basement/cave was an idea Georgia had given her after she had come over for dinner that one night.

"Why are you over here again Amy?" Taylor asks

"I got into another fight with Carol," Amy says

"What was it about this time?" Taylor asks

"Apparently I am adopted Tay…" Amy says with clear sarcasm

"Didn't you already know that?" Taylor says with a smile

Amy snorts in response.

Breaking news is suddenly playing on the tv.

"It was a normal Wednesday morning. Students at Cornell University were just getting ready to start the classes when at 7am an explosion shook the campus grounds. It was followed by alarms and several dozen more explosions as the sprinkler systems were finally set off." The reporter says as smoke is rising from the building in the background.

The camera pans around showing several armored police vehicles along with the local protectorate group. Staged behind them are the paramedics.

Amy and Taylor watch the news as a streak of light flies into the building.

"There goes the Hero Legend, into the danger zone." The reporter says with awe.

Amy turns the tv off.
"That's nothing compared to the bay." Amy says with a scoff.

When you have a dragon that gets upset and levels 1/8th the city in his biennial fight with the blender dog. Though that might not happen this year since according to Tay, Georgia almost blew off his leg with a 40mm armor-piercing round.

"True, I wonder if someone went Carrie again," Taylor says

"Who's Carrie again? I keep hearing about it but, I don't actually know of the incident." Amy says

"I wish we didn't have to use that Steven King book as an adjective," Danny says from the kitchen.

"Well, when one of the best horror story writers writes something that mirrors a parahuman triggering and getting revenge on her bullies. It makes sense that it would be seen as the "First incedent." " Taylor says

"Wait, it's a book. Not an actual incident?" Amy asks in shock.

"You… How do you, of all people, not know that?" Taylor asks

Unknown to them Cauldron was plotting in the background with a move that would have long-lasting consequences. Assuming their plan wasn't interrupted by something stupid.

The best-laid plans of mice and men often go ary.

After all what was a plan in the face of overwhelming firepower? His mercenaries literally could not get past the gate before they were shelled into oblivion. The one that survived the first salvo said he had been hit by a freedom sedan.

Though, this was the farthest one of his timelines have made it without the city being nuked. So this gave him the rare opportunity to learn about his enemies.

He got more from Tagg's charge than he did from several dozens of timelines.

"It should stop knives and small caliber arms hopefully." Taylor murmurs to herself.

"Could it stop me though?" Taylor asks, looking at the hole she punched into the concrete pillar which had height marks on it.

She punched the pillar in a rage after she realized her powers were causing her to shrink.

Hannah was out for a walk. She couldn't stand being on the rig at the moment. Someone had hacked the PRT and leaked most of the confidential files relating to cover-ups and other incidents. They had claimed that it was the Herbert case that made them do some digging since it was leaked a ward was responsible for all of the sufferings the girl went through.

Assault was MadCap… That was the second biggest problem with the local ENE, the fact that Armsmaster killed a girl was probably the lightest crime leaked. The biggest one was the Identity of Coil or Thomas Calvert who was running a black ops group trying to take over the criminal element of the bay committing all sorts of crimes in the name of taking over the city.

"You look like you've had a day." A woman says

"That is not even the start of it… You look exhausted as well." Hannah says

"Kids." She says with a smile.

"Your's?" Hannah asks

"It feels like it. Though they aren't. They tried to start a fire to see how hot it felt recently."

"I'm Hannah,"

"You can call me York." Newyork says

Good morning America was playing.

"I am just saying with the recent news and leaks within the prt are heroes actually heroes? Do they deserve that name?"

"Honestly we are seeing that parahumans are just that, human."
"Yes however when a human gets upset and punches a support pole he hurts his hand, when a parahuman does it the whole building gets brought down."

"Yes, however we all know some of those with powers never wanted them in the first place. Look at Weld, imagine never being able to touch anything metal."

"Then we should help them instead of parading them around like circus clowns."

"What about Termite? We all saw the report there." A man says shuttering.

"Termite has been dead since the 90s. It is not like he can face justice for that accident."

"We can stop selling his toys to children. I dont want my son having an action figure of that sick criminal."

Lisa had done it, Though apparently she's Sarah now. She broke the internet, distrust of hero's is higher than it has ever been and the world was on fire. Yet she has the gall to claim she didn't start it.

The most damning thing of all though was footage of Armsmaster killing a woman in cold blood.

"Armsmaster, how many times must I tell you to stop chasing me!" Hookwolf shouts, grabbing a civilian from the crowd of people.

Armsmaster finally stops fully looking at the monster holding a woman hostage.

"You are going to let me go or she dies." Hook wolf says

"We all know you won't do that. They'll Birdcage you." Armsmaster says

"Yeah, well I would like to see them try. You wont ever catch me anyways. You'll aways be a discount bargain bin of a hero." Hookwolf says

"Just come quietly blender dog." Armsmaster says

"I don't think I will." Hookwolf says tightening the grip on his hostage.

Armsmaster takes a step forward holding his halberd in a threatening way.

Hookwolf takes a step back a blade cutting hostages arm.

"I'll Kill! her back off you tin can!" Hookwolf shouts

"I'll be painful but it wont kill her." Armsmaster mutters

"What did you say!" Hookwolf shouts

"You can't kill her when she is already dead!" Armsmaster shouts

With a lunge the halberd plunges through the right side of the woman's chest before stabbing into hookwolf.

The villainous cape jolts back in shock letting go of the hostage. Shocked that the hero would stab the woman.

"Something is wrong, There is too much blood." Armsmaster says his voice quavering.

The woman who hookwolf was holding hostage was dead on the ground and armsmaster froze up allowing the villain to escape.

Suddenly armsmaster looks up at the camera.

"Turn that phone off!" He shouts in a commanding voice. As sirens drown out the noise in the background.

Armsmaster looks down at the ground ashamed

"Less than a 1% chance and you hit it. You shouldn't be stabbing people in the first place… If it wasn't for the chief director You would be getting replaced like I am." The old man says

"I killed her." Armsmaster says horrified.

"I dont know why I did that. It just felt like the most efficient way to save her and Capture hookwolf.


"You would've stabbed through her lung even if you didn't hit her heart. She would have drowned in her own blood." The director says disappointed.

David hears Armsmaster shout You can't kill her if she is already dead.

Turning around he watches the hero impale his deceased daughter.

David drops a stack of plates on the floor "Those bastards lied to me."

"Sarah, did you have to go and do that?" Taylor asks

"Obviously, it's all according to plan. Georgia was very clear about what she wanted me to do." Sarah says

"I don't think she said to do that," Amy states flatly.

"No she very clearly said to give the PRT Hell," Sarah says

"She said that to the Union Lawyers," Taylor states flatly remembering that meeting.

"Oh… I just wanted to do my part." Sarah says bashfully.

"Your part? How is letting the world know of the corruption of the PRT your part?" Amy asks

"I think we should turn on the news," Taylor says

"It's still talking about the death of Dead Meat and the destruction of Pyne Poynt park," Sarah says

"... True a serial Killer cape who could control dead bodies deserved the response he got."

"New Jersey Cratered a public park," Amy says flatly.

"A destroyed park or a zombie apocalypse?" Taylor asks

"She turned the guy into mist!" Amy shouts

"I guess he was mystified," Taylor says with a smug smile only to be ignored.

"She is a 45,000-ton battleship known as the Black Dragon, She has sunk an Island in the past and her sister leveled a mountain. Hitting a small park in New Jersey with a single 16inch shell is nothing, Amy. She's military, a hero, not a superhero, she is not to be held to the same standard as other Capes." Sarah says

The TV suddenly turns on.

"The Hostage situation is approaching the second hour and little to nothing has been done negotiation-wise. The suspect's name is David Proccolino and he is the father of that video that leaked out of the prt earlier this week."

Amy and Taylor turned to look at Sarah who looks a little upset with herself.

"Well, this just proves the incompetence of the PRT." Tayor says

"I wonder how Piggot the Biggot is doing?" Sarah says

The answer was not well. Piggot was having a horrid day.

"Ma'am I think i should go there and handle this personally," Armsmaster says

"He is demanding you, you killed his daughter and he is now holding the city office hostage. If you go he is going to try and kill you." Piggot says

"Right, well I started it so I think I should end it," Armsmaster says

"No, I already sent velocity to take care of it," Piggot says

"This just in Hero Velocity has just been dragged out of the front door by a hostage he appears to be bleeding from a gut shot."

Piggot flinches and turns to look at the screen.

"Well shit," Piggot says

"Yeah, I'm going," Armsmaster says

"If you go I am going to cut your tinkering budget!" Piggot shouts turning around to see the cape is already gone.

"Shit," Piggot mutters

Piggot presses the intercom button.

"To all personnel on the rig do not let Armsmaster leave!" Piggot shouts in a panic.

"I just want armsmaster to face justice. Why is that so hard to ask for?" David asks

The doors to the office suddenly burst open as a blue blur arrives.

"Sir just give yourself up and settle this the legal way." Velocity says

"NO!" David shouts

"David?" Velocity asks confused

There is a loud bang as Velocity takes a round to the gut.

"Why did he not dodge that bullet?" David asks aloud while all of the PRT office workers scream.

"YOU!" David shouts pointing his gun at one of the secretaries.

"Y-yes sir?"

"Drag his body outside he needs medical attention and I don't need his death on my head… Also, tell the police out there to order pizza for the hostages." David says

"Y-YEs" THe woman says horrified.

David watches as she grabs the limp body of the hero and drags him out of the front door.

Colin had escaped the rig and was taking his bike to the offices.

Piggot really didn't want him anywhere near this however it was something he needed to see through to the end. What could possibly happen to him anyways, the metal on his power armor was bulletproof anyways.

The bike was allowed clear through the police check point and Armsmaster parked it at his own parking spot before getting off and walking through the front door.

So, my contact confirmed that a WW2 heavy cruiser is sitting out in the bay. It is a Cleveland Class cruiser the USS Atlanta, it can be inferred from what the ship museum was hinting at and what we know of BB-70's powers It is very likely that that is the real cruiser.
Apparently the guns are trained on the medhall building aswell.

So, I don't exactly know how to start this... You all heard the explosions last night. Unlike most of us thought that wasn't the rage dragon fighting the Protectorate like normal... That was the protectorate thinking that 5 armored vehicles and a handful of helicopters were enough to take on an entire battle fleet. The event which has now been dubbed Tagg's charge still leaves a lot to the unknown. though we now know that the French Mercenary group known as the Wild Geese took part in the suicidal raid. The cause for the raid has yet to be determined the amount of dead is still unknown.

According to some of the report BB-70 leaked a ward's identity. which I think we all would've heard about so it's likely something to do with Danny Hebert's Lawsuit against the PRT BB-70 does work with him since he is the head of the union at the dock workers.

So while the clean-up is underway from that... thing that happened 10 nights ago. The police apparently decided to raid Windslow this morning.
Something about a connection to the villain coil and the empire lead to the principal being arrested and further looking into the finance of the school lead to a realization that Blackwell was laundering money she was receiving from the PRT.

If they were docked at British ports like those french ships were gladly. However, boarding someone who is going to fire back is a little bit difficult.

USS Arizona, the studious battleship
To be honest, Arizona had kind of missed Georgia's entire visit, having been busy studying for her exams. The fact the professors and their TA's couldn't see her was immaterial.

Arizona had been slumbering for the first 5 years after the attack on Pearl. But afterwards, she had awoken. Well, her spirit at least, her hull was still were it had been all this time. At one point, out of curiosity, she had followed students into a university aula. Applied Anthropology was kind of interesting, but not knowing the same background as the students made it difficult to follow.

Arizona had decided to search out what she had missed. She spent 3 years invisibly in a highschool. Searching out the lessons she thought she could use. While the tests weren't something the teachers could correct, due to not seeing her own copies, or herself. Arizona did always check her own results by sitting in the same locale as the professors as they corrected the tests of the students and seeing what was correct and what wasn't. After 3 years, Arizona was satisfied she had more than earned a Highschool degree and returned to the Universities.

In the following 5 decades, Arizona earned (or in her opinion she would have had the teachers known she was there and had been able to review her work themselves), several degrees. Philosophy, English literature, several history courses. Engineering. She kept a highly eclectic variety. Arizona even managed to learn Hawaiian and Pidgin. She wished she could speak to actual Hawaiians and so actually use the languages. Above all, she kept on returning to the Applied Anthropology courses.

Then one evening, after classes had ended, she was taking a leisury stroll back to her hull when she spotted Missouri, a fully restored Missouri …

Wanting to know how the hell that had happened, Arizona headed towards the Iowa-class. "Aloha Missouri, do I have permission to come aboard?" Arizona asked standing at the gangway.

After about a minute Missouri's spirit appeared at her gangway. Never actually having met Arizona while in service, Missouri didn't actually recognize Arizona. Then again, she was dressed in a flower print summer dress, not exactly something you'd expect a Battleship to wear (but it would have made her fit in easily, if the humans could actually see her). "My hull's over there", Arizona pointed, "mostly below the water, near the monument. I'm USS Arizona, BB-39."

USS Arizona, it's not fair
Georgia apparently was quite capable of giving her a physical body while still preserving the last resting place of so many of her crew. It was a bit of a strange feeling at first, but thanks to Georgia doing her thing with the superstructure piece stored in the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum, Arizona could now actually be seen. Her old hull was still part of her, she could sort of sense it. But she could now walk around and be seen.

At first, the UH had wanted to give Arizona an Honorary Doctorate. But Arizona had refused, saying she wanted a real one. And planned to do all the work. Leading to her now being an official student. At first, the UH had told students not to ask about December 7th, 1941. But after more than half a century, Arizona was quite capable of talking about it, actually, she wanted to even. On her own suggestion, she spent 2 hours one Friday evening on a Q&A with History students from UH. She also arranged an online Q&A with Naval Academy Students through the US Navy base at Pearl.

Anyway, after a day at the University, Arizona went back to the Naval Base. She had actually told the US Navy that a berth or anchorage was more than sufficient for her. But they had for some reason insisted upon her using a bed in the naval base itself. Which was kind of weird. Missouri was allowed to sleep at a proper berth, but she wasn't. It really wasn't fair. Actually, she should post that on PHO, they did start a new subgroup to discuss ships after all.

It's really not fair how we hull displaced ships are not given the same rights as our not hull-displaced brethren.

USS Missouri is allowed to sleep with her lower hull submerged in water. USS Enterprise, I mean CV-65, too. But CV-6 and myself are forced to sleep IN A BED. It's really not fair. Why are they allowed to sleep at a berth, or at least an anchorage? But we are forced to spend our nights in a dry and uncomfortable bed.

How do you humans do it, sleeping without the comfortable embrace of the water around your lower hull?

"I think it's probably best to go to your place", Arizona told Crystal. While yes, Arizona handing in all the work she had done while intangible (apart from her old hull beneath the monument that is) had ensured Arizona now had most of the work finished for her Master Degree in Applied Anthropology and Development. The University did want her to actually follow some of the classes and do the exams with her fellow students. Currently she had to do a joint work with a fellow student. A student that ended up being Crystal Pelham.

"Yeah, I don't think we're even allowed to start doing our work near the monument", Crystal agreed, "it's not too far. Let's walk."

"Oh, I'm not staying there", Arizona corrected as she walked next to Crystal, "well, not entirely that is, obviously my hull is there. But the Navy told me I couldn't simply moor myself near my old hull at night. Or on any empty berth. They gave me a bunk in the navy base. Well, I suppose having access to a desk is quite handy. And that waterbed they allowed me to bring in is at least sufficiently alike the soft movement of the waves on your hull, allowing a proper night's sleep."

Crystal sniggered, finally remembering Arizona's post about not being allowed to sleep at a berth from a few weeks back. Which several of the ships back home in Brockton Bay had replied to. "Oh yes, that PHO-post", Crystal realized, "I forgot about that." Then again, Crystal did try to treat Arizona the same as the other students. If not for the fact she didn't even try to hide anything and simply went by Arizona, Crystal would sometimes even almost forget the other student was in fact a battleship (which even with parahumans around, like herself, was kind of strange).

"Oh, you have a PHO account? Stupid question, of course you have", Arizona realized, "otherwise you wouldn't have found that post."

"I do, it's Crystal P, I suppose Laserdream too, but I'm not doing anything with that account at the moment", Crystal explained.

"Wait, two accounts, is that even allowed?" Arizona thought there was a one account per person rule.

"Laserdream is my verified Cape account, the other one is my personal one", Crystal clarified.

"You're a Cape? And you're telling me like that", Arizona thought Capes tried to keep their identities secret.

"I'm a public Cape", Crystal answered, "which is actually one of the reasons I went all the way to Honolulu for University. At least here, practically no one has ever even heard of Laserdream. Of course the PRT knows I'm here, at least I think they do. But it's actually kind of nice not to be doing any Cape things. Or nearly none. I did inform the Coast Guard that if they can use my aid for Search and Rescue, I am available. They took me up on the offer a few times."

"Does that mean you're the flying girl who found the fisherman who went overboard from the trawler Judith?" Arizona remembered.

"How do you even know that?" Crystal wondered, "the Coast Guard and the fishing crew agreed not to tell anyone a parahuman helped."

"Judith told her fellow trawlers, who passed the word to the tugboats. And tugs are even worse gossips than the trawlers, and that's saying something. Missouri somehow always finds out just about every piece of gossip spread inside the ports, both military and civilian. So she heard about it. And she told me when we were having lunch last Saturday."

"Wait, you mean the trawlers and tugboats are also alive?" Crystal hadn't known that.

"For trawlers, only the bigger ones", Arizona replied, "With some exceptions. Sometimes a smaller one does awaken a spirit, but it's rare. Some, like this Judith, who I presume is named after a loved one, have more of a chance. Probably due to the emotional connection. As far as I know, all tugs do have a spirit. I mean, I never met one without one. Yachts? In all my years, I've only seen a handful with a spirit. The cruise ships and other passenger ships all have spirits though. But they are kind of bored most of the time. Not enough people willing to go on a cruise these days, keeps them stuck in port."

Crystal suddenly stopped walking.

"Is something wrong?" Arizona asked.

"Not at all", Crystal replied, "I simply realised something. We still need a subject for our work. So what if we make it about ship spirit culture? We can interview ships. Or you can at least, but I can help think of the questions we need to ask. And of course help form conclusions out of their responses."

"Well, I can guarantee no one else will have that subject", Arizona agreed, "let's do it."
