Puellus Gamer Magica (The Gamer/PMMM quest)

Actually, you did, but you were more on discovering new abilities than actually actively grinding them. Of course, there are 20 levels in total to master the skills, so your progress is well for someone who just Contracted.
Ah, alright. I meant doing what Han Jee-Han did, when he was training his Blunt Weapon skill.

[X]Gear: First Aid Kit, Flash Light, Energy BAr, Mineral Water, Obentous
[X] Tactics: Transform into your Sorcerer form, start shooting them with Mana Bolts, and stay mobile. If they get too close, stab them with your rapier.

Why a helmet exactly? Our Sorcerer form comes with it's own armour so it's not like we need one.

And we only die when we accident our Soul Gem or Lich out.

I wanted to practice our abilities. I was the only one who voted for it. Which is weird and stupid considering that none of the 100 INT ers voted for it when that would have given them the most benefits nad damaged opposing arguments by letting us harague our INt into everything else.

I really don't see any way for eating bentos in the sewers not to be totally disgusting.
Even energy bars are pushing it, but whatever.

Regarding the training, updates spend on nothing but grinding are boring as fuck and grinding against nothing is a lot less efficient than just going into a dungeon.
Since the GM confirmed our first Witch/Lich would be easy as fuck, grinding would therefor be a waste of time and updates.

I just wanted to figure out multi shot the basic protect and maybe heal.

You know, the backstory for that Serial killer sounds suspiciously similar to a certain red-head murderer who was a participant in a certain grail war. Especially with the accomplice never being caught.

Hey guys, just a reminder before I sleep: remember to stunt this like Exalted. It will help with the combat part, as well as giving you some bonus in combat~

[X] As the enemy approaches you in the murky sewer you can't help but feel and odd scintillating sort of calm that strikes you as absurd as two rats the size of great Danes approach you. You know it is your ability, The Gamers Mind, that stills you heart and lets you calmly take in your opponents and the battlefield.
Two Opponents, levels low, fast, visibly dirty, possible diseases may be indicative of status effects, low probability of ranged ability.
Arena: Absurdly spacious Sewer chanel. lightning poor. Chanel filthy possibly poisonous. Ground murky caution advised.
Proposed Strategy. Use Ranged Abilities and Personal agility to Kite opponents through favorable terrain and draw you opponents to you in a line. Abuse circular motions that Quadrupeds have difficulties with. All of this runs through your head in the moment between heartbeats as you begin to raise your hand and your Soul.

"Henshin." You transform your robs adorning you as your Soul relocates to your neck and Rapier Manifests in your hand. You focus, flick your wrist to the left most foe , and chant as the battle begins. "Mana Bolt!"

Eh.
We did spend an entire week training and didn't get those, so I'm not sure that could be done trivially.
Not to mention that Kyubey outright asked us to go hunting, building up a store of Grief Seeds early is never bad, finding out what kind of rewards and crafting materials we get for fulfilling quests is important and developing new techniques mid-battle through a stunt or buying them upon level-up has tradition in enough RPGs/Quests to be worth trying that odds are this is more helpful for our growth.

Ultimately, while those things would be nice to have, it was more or less outright stated that they aren't needed yet so I'd rather spend our time on more excting and hopefully more productive stuff than grinding.

Also, changed my tactics vote to your write-in.

Vots tally due to no one else voting and us feeling very bored as fut...
Gear:
[2]Gear: First Aid Kit, Flash Light, Energy Bar, Mineral Water, Obentous
[3] Gear: First Aid Kit, Flash Light, Energy Bar, Mineral Water, Sewer Map

So tactics and stunt stacks, meaning that you all get an additional...+30 to rolls made in this turn.
Stacks with tactics, +10, an equivalent to a 2 dice stunt gives you +20.
Voting is now closed.

Abuse circular motions that Quadrupeds have difficulties with. All of this ran through your head in the moment between heartbeats as you begin to raise your hand and your Soul Gem.

"Henshin." You transformed, your battle armor adorning you as your Soul Gem relocated to your neck and the Rapier manifested in your hand. You focused your energy, flicked your wrist to the leftmost foe , and cried out as the battle began, "Mana Bolt!"

The bolt of energy managed to connect with the Dire Rat on the torso, knocking it to the ground where its smoking body laid unmoving, while the other was swiftly approaching you from the opposite side of the canal you were standing on before leaping towards you, its fangs baring and ready to rip you...
Dire Rat 1 loses 196 Health!
Dire Rat 1 is defeated!

[X] Dodge (DC ?)
[X] Parry (DC ?)

OOC:...I wanted to write more, but I felt that it would be better if you vote every turn, as much as I'm tempted to just roll with it and be done with the update. So please, stunt it so that I can get rid of them and then continue with the more interesting stuff -_-lll

[X] Parry (DC ?)

Ground is probably pretty slippery. Parrying sounds like a better idea than dodging.

[X] Parry (DC ?)
The rat leaps, trying to bite you. Your sword arm moves, bringing the bottom of your blade to the rats head deflecting it's jump and sending it hurtling towards the wall instead. "You'll have to do better then that."

A critical hit!

Parry (Level 1, 0.00%) - An ability that lets one to parry an incoming attack. +5 bonus towards all attempts at parrying.

You breathed a sigh of relief, as you walked away from the corpses of the Dire Rats, pocketing the single 50 yen coin and continued.

You dispatched several more Dire Rats along the way with a few well placed Mana Bolts and Power Attacks, before you felt an unnatural cold heading towards you. A faint eerie white light could also be seen coming around the corner as well, if you squinted hard enough.

(Also + a bonus of this sewer's history ^_^;)

From your knowledge of RPGs and the history of this area, you concluded that the source of this freakishness is most probably the vengeful spirits of the victims...or you had found the lair of a Witch or a Lich, the latter unlikely, but still possible.
Askillhasbeencreatedthroughaspecialaction-00-2.png
Observe (Level 1, 0.00%) - You can now observe a target and gain some basic knowledge of it. No manacost.

Code:
Enemy identified.
Name: Vengeful Spirit
Level: 8

[X] What do?

So...initiative gained, meaning that you gain +10 to rolls for the next turn.

Then with the +10 I say we attack with our strongest power.

Could we try to overcharge our manabolt?

Also: Invisitext.

[X] Use Observe on the Vengeful Spirit.

[X] Use Observe on the Vengeful Spirit.
-[X] Attack with mana bolt
Upon oberserving the Vengeful Spirit you wave your focus at it while channiling your mana to cast your blue bolt of energy right at it.

I suppose trying to create a skill like power lunge probably would be appropriate then huh?

Another enemy, this one likely stronger then the rats. However it didn't seem to have noticed you. You decided to try to do something a little risky. You focused mana into your legs, trying to get them to propel you further and faster so that your lunge had more force behind it. In addition you channeled some mana into your weapon so as to cast power strike at the same time. And then you lunged, your body moving faster then it previously had before, your rapier impaling your foe, it's health bar dropping impressively.

This actually doable?

[X]Even within the cold logic of the Gamers Mind, you can feel your heart move for this damned spirit. The pain and suffering it must have experienced to coalesce in such way you resolve to put it out of its misery.

You Focus.

You're intelect hones itself to a razor edge edge as your eye dilate to take in everything about you opponent and your battlefield.

Spirit Type. The creatures semi corporeal nature traditionally reduces physical attack effectiveness drastically. Likely Vulnerable to magic. Like able to ignore physical hardiness. Status Effects or Status Drain Possible

Initiative Gained.

Terrain Sewer Class

Suggested Technique: Alpha Strike.

As you have been battling you have kept a close watch on the feel of battle. The way you muscle twitch to dodge and strike. The Position of that the tip of your sword must be in when you release a mana bolt and most importantly the coruscating force of your mana. It is a powerful sensation releasing mana and you've been thinking about what else you can do with it. You know what mage can do in an RPG and you also know that it is a long journey to heights of power and all journeys start somewhere and so you start.

Breathe in and draw your power from your heart.

Draw back with your whole body into the fifth thrust Stance as you funnel power to your rapier's base.

Hold gathering potential and mana energy

Then Release thrusting forward with all you power!

MANA THRUST!
