Jaune needs to do an Arc Promise with both teams
He'll fight going to the Ever After with everything he is, BUT the second it's the only way for them to win? He'll do it and they have to let him

Yang and Jaune went out onto Beacon's campus grounds near the river. It was a beautiful day, and Jaune put down a blanket. They sat down together.

Jaune: "I'm glad we're going on a picnic. I didn't figure you for a picnic kind of gal, to be honest."

Jaune's Brain: And she brought the food too?

Yang: "Hey now, just cause I like a good fight and a good party, doesn't mean I don't like enjoying nice quiet day." she starts blushing lightly "With the guy lo-like"

Yang's Brain: Damn it I still can't say it!

Jaune: smiles "You know you're really cute when you blush."

Yang: bright red "Sh-Shut up!" Laughs and smacks his shoulder

Yang began taking out dishes.

Jaune: "So, where did you get these?"

Yang smile proudly: "Made them myself!"

Jaune: "Really? Wow!" He has a sandwich, chews...

Yang watches nervously trying not to show it but her playing with her fingers gave it away.

Yang's Brain: Please like it, please like it.

Jaune: "Yang... This is amazing."

Jaune's Brain: Holy shit it's so good!

He eats the rest of the sandwich eagerly

Yang smiles brightly at both his words and eagerness

Yang: "Heh, just so you know, flattery gets you everywhere~"

She leans forward and gives him a nice kiss on the lips. Jaune kisses her back very happily.

Jaune's Brain: Damn, the kickass tomboy can cook too?! Well that makes sense... She did raise Ruby-

Ruby: "YANG! JAUNE!"

Ruby pops up. They pull apart with a jump.

Yang's Brain: Damn it Ruby!

Yang: "What is it Rubes?"

Ruby: "There's a big sale at the weapons store! Didn't you say you wanted to get some new accessories, Yang?! And-Jaune! Didn't you want to trick out your new shotgun?!"

Jaune's Brain: DAMNIT RUBY!

Jaune: "I mean... yeah, but you said you were gonna do it, right?"

Ruby: "Of course we are! But we still need to go down there to see about parts we need and if anything else catches your eye!"

Jaune: "How about you go? We trust your judgement!"

Ruby: "Nope! You need to be part of it every step of the way. That's part of then joy of building your own weapon."

Yang with a strained smile: "Heh come on Rubes, my stuff can wait, and Jaune doesn't have to be there every step of the way. Especially with your good eye I think we'd just slow you down."

Ruby: "But-"

Jaune: "We trust you, Crater Face. You'll get the best stuff, I know you will!"

Ruby stood there for a moment before a look of pure sadness came to her face.

Ruby: "O-okay I'll leave you guys alone." She mumbled quietly.

Jaune's Brain: Urrrgggghhhh...! GUILT! GUILLLLLT!

Jaune: "... Um..."

Yang though has mom instincts and is fighting against giving in. She knows Ruby's game.

Yang's brain: Fight it. Fight it! You know her game. Come on hold strong!

Jaune: "I..." She can see Jaune is about to give in. No! He needs to stay strong!

Yang is about to warn him when she is a second too late. Ruby turns and they both see the shimmering silver eyes caused by unshed tears and the wobbly lips.

Jaune: "I... W-Well, Ruby..."

Alas... Just before he caved... Weiss walked up.

Weiss: "Ruby! I got all the parts you wanted via mail order. All at a discount, so no need to pay me back!"

Ruby freezes and goes rigid. Yang eyes flash red as she begins to glare at Ruby.

Weiss: Smug little smile

Jaune's Brain: Oh geez... Well, Ruby is a little sister. I have more than enough experience with my little sisters to know how manipulative they can be...

Yang's brain: That sneaky little minx!

Jaune: "Well, that's great Ruby. And thank you Weiss. We really appreciate it."

Weiss: "Of course. I can't have you both waste your time for no reason now can we?"

Said as she side eyes Ruby. Ruby gives her a glare which comes off as more cute than anything. Like an angry little kitten.

Weiss: "Of course, that means we can chat, doesn't it Jaune?"

Jaune: "Huh?"

Jaune's Brain: What the hell!? SHE LIKES ME NOW?! HOW?! WHY?!

Jaune: "Yang and I are in the middle of something Weiss?"

Weiss: "Mhm? You mean what ever this is? Don't worry I can take you some where that has better options and you can get what you like."

Jaune: "Uh, thanks but no thanks?"

Yang of course was struggling not to lose her Temper. Jaune holds her hand. Yang squeezes on it tightly, making Jaune wince lightly.

Yang: :Yeah Weisscream! Go find that blue haired boy of yours. We were having a nice time before all of this came about."

Weiss: Narrows her eyes a bit

Ruby: "Yeah Weiss! Come on! Let's... Let's do some upgrades!"

Ruby decided she would be a better friend and sister right now... Which would have been great... When Blake showed up.

And slides right up next to Jaune's side opposite of Yang sits next to him and proceeds to lean on him while pulling out a book and beginning to read without a care in the world.

Jaune: "... Blake?"

Blake: "Hello Jaune. Yang. Ruby. Weiss."

Jaune: "Uhh... What are you doing?"

Blake: "I thought we were having a picnic."

Jaune: "Yes. Yang and I. Are having a picnic."

Blake: "It's very nice."

Jaune: "Yes... A picnic. Alone."

Blake: "Mmhm?"

Yang: "Grrrrr...!"

Pyrrha: "JAUNE!"

Jaune: "Oh great..."

Pyrrha: "I just-"

Yang: FULL BURN MODE "DAMNIT THAT'S ENOUGH! HE'S MY BOYFRIEND, HE LOVES ME, SO BUZZ OFF EVERYONE BEFORE I START PUNCHING!"

Pyrrha: "I-I just-"

Yang: "I'M NOT AFRAID TO KNOCK YOUR BLOCK OFF TOO, CEREAL GIRL-!"

Pyrrha: "I just wanted to deliver a package Jaune got?"

Jaune: "Ah, yes... Thank you Pyr." He opens it up and hands it to Yang "I got you some wine! From my farm! I-I thought you'd like it..."

Yang: "... Oh..." winces at Pyrrha "Um... Sorry Cereal Girl... And everyone... Mostly."

Blake: unrepentant

Yang: "... So... Wine huh?"

Jaune: "I think it would go well with your cooking since it's very nice?"

Weiss, Ruby and Blake: "Awww..."

Pyrrha: "Awww..."

Yang: "WILL YOU JUST BUZZ OFF?!"
