  • Due to issues with external spam filters, QQ is currently unable to send any mail to Microsoft E-mail addresses. This includes any account at live.com, hotmail.com or msn.com. Signing up to the forum with one of these addresses will result in your verification E-mail never arriving. For best results, please use a different E-mail provider for your QQ address.
  • For prospective new members, a word of warning: don't use common names like Dennis, Simon, or Kenny if you decide to create an account. Spammers have used them all before you and gotten those names flagged in the anti-spam databases. Your account registration will be rejected because of it.
  • Since it has happened MULTIPLE times now, I want to be very clear about this. You do not get to abandon an account and create a new one. You do not get to pass an account to someone else and create a new one. If you do so anyway, you will be banned for creating sockpuppets.
  • Due to the actions of particularly persistent spammers and trolls, we will be banning disposable email addresses from today onward.

Smooth.

Basically this is the translation.

Guy: Pantyhose sure make a girl cute, huh.
girl: So you're saying I wouldn't be cute without them?
Guy: You're cute to begin with.
Girl: Right... -internally- Eh..eh! To begin with? He never said that to me before...

This day, 107 years ago, the ocean liner RMS Titanic sank a little over two and a half hours after striking an iceberg near the Grand Banks, with the loss of over 1,500 lives in one of the most notorious maritime disasters in history.

The lifeboats of RMS Titanic moored at the White Star Line's dock (Pier 54) in New York, April, 1912.

When RMS Carpathia rescued Titanic's survivors, she also recovered the lifeboats of the sunken liner and brought them to New York. After Carpathia arrived at New York on April 18, 1912 and disembarked Titanic's survivors, her crew proceeded to unload the lifeboats and took them to the White Star dock, tying them up where the doomed liner they had been assigned to had been scheduled to conclude her voyage the day before, in a poignant reminder of how that voyage ended. White Star subsequently had the lifeboats shipped back to Britain, where they became lost to history after being refurbished for use on other vessels of the line.
