Endbringer fight will come upAwsome!
I'm still looking forward to the "surprise" Taylor promised Alexandria for the next Endbringer fight. Which actually makes this the first fic where I kinda want an EB to show up.
On the other hand, with the ABB gone Hax will probably take on the Empire soon and thats definitly going to be fum. So many shiny powers to draw from
In this fic, Taylor can re-access the blueprints for the same device so long as 1. it doesn't exist in the world anymore, and 2. she drops and reacquires Leet's power (a momentary and costless operation). So they've got quite a few more options. So, if they blew up the pillars for the time dilation field, they aren't getting it rebuilt, right? Because Leet's power won't let him build it again even though Taylor's version is closer to "one copy at a time."
That doesn't cover his point. In this fic, Taylor can re-access the blueprints for the same device so long as 1. it doesn't exist in the world anymore, and 2. she drops and reacquires Leet's power (a momentary and costless operation). So they've got quite a few more options.
Specifically, if she disassembles something that he built (or even that she built, copying his power) and then resets her connection to his power, he can rebuild it. Also, 'self-destruct' is close enough to 'disassemble' for her power's purposes.Ack has stated on one of the other forums that Leet has a better connection with his shard due to his alliance with Taylor, so his shard has decided to allow him to rebuild anything he destroys.
So QA told L33T's shard to be less Tsun-tsun and more dere?Specifically, if she disassembles something that he built (or even that she built, copying his power) and then resets her connection to his power, he can rebuild it. Also, 'self-destruct' is close enough to 'disassemble' for her power's purposes.
Since she joined the duo, they've been involved in all sorts of cape shenanigans and conflict, so L33t's shard is reconsidering its stance toward him.
... basically.
*puerile giggle*Taylor's shard is basically somewhere between a Genki Girl and a Manic Pixie Dream Girl as far as Uber and L33t's shards are concerned. They're not quite sure to make of her, but they don't want the wild ride to stop.
She'd have to be careful so as not to 'burn out' her power on each individual component, especially if the device has lots of identical ones.Though having regular access to a fairly-universal-scope power like Leet's might well make up much of the deficit.
The suit kind of rebuilt itself. It's best to treat it as if she used a second Tinkertech power to rearrange matters a little. No extra slots were blocked out.I'm wondering about how her armor registers on that after it was adjusted by Lung's power.
It blended together the components all weirdly. So it could be pretty unpredictable in how it registers. I mean it might be like she made those components multiple times. Or it might think of the original components as unmade. Or it might register them as filling in completely different slots from what they originally were, thus locking out slots unexpectedly.
I am shocked people don't recognize the saying trump card, which you punned with the meaning of Trump in Worm. It is literally over 500 years (near 600 I believe) old at this point. That you actually needed an AN for this *sigh*[A/N 2: The overall title of this story refers to the power category 'Trump' in the web-novel Worm by J. C. McRae. Specifically, it has nothing to do with any American political figures. At all. This fanfic should not be taken as support for any such figures.]
It was just a precaution.I am shocked people don't recognize the saying trump card, which you punned with the meaning of Trump in Worm. It is literally over 500 years (near 600 I believe) old at this point. That you actually needed an AN for this *sigh*
*sigh* Moron. She seems overly sensitive to the idea of teenage girls being kidnapped. Maybe I should stage a kidnapping and lure her into a trap.
He mentally filed away that idea as 'plan B' and returned his attention to the phone call.
Anyone except us, of courseThe most irritating part, of course, was that they'd never be able to tell anyone how they did it.
Until they stole that woman's hair I thought that was what they were building up to do given the ambiguous way they were talking about it.Maybe it's the Shard Conflict Drive, or maybe it's just Taylor starting to think like a villain, but with the mostly good rep she has with Alexandria, couldn't she have tried somehow just asking nicely to get the EndBits?
Assuming that it's an anti-Endbringer weapon. If it's not something on that tier of utility toCauldronthe world, then I can see why she wouldn't think they'd let her borrow it.
