Video Games General

Do you have any advice for collecting chemicals? I am almost totally out from making repair putty. Realized I needed to use the garage upgrade that fixes parts while you're out more than that stuff, but I'd still like to not be so short on it.

I can't really help you with that. At first, I just grinded by planning on known routes where I remember they have materials then I think I kind of cheated though once storms started happening by skipping time really fast and then onto duping materials. I was unaware of a bedroom mod at that time.

MH Wilds Title Update coming next Friday (April 4th) and I'm pretty excited about the roadmap they laid out and what they teased for Title Update 2 this summer. I'm a little bit disappointed because two of the additions, the Grand Hub and the High Rank version of the final boss along with its weapons and armor feel like they should've been base game but probably got cut for time. They're already adding an Arch-Tempered Monster a few weeks after that and even though Rey Dau isn't a hard monster I can feel in my bones that thing is gonna kick my ass.

Rey's kiiiiinda the least of the Apex monsters even if he his cool so it'll be interesting to see a super duper tempered version. They're adding Mizutsune and Lagiacrus too. I think there was something about a crossover with another Capcom series. I've been wondering if it'll just be themed gear or whatever or an actual monster. If it is, Dragon's Dogma is kinda the obvious choice. Fighting a chimera in Monster Hunter might be fun.

Started messing about with Infection Free Zone. It's a zombie base-building game that's basically RTS, but it's main draw is the fact that you can use actual places on the map. Even your own street. I didn't pick my house, because the difficulty was listed higher and it's my first game, but the spot I did set down a few streets over had a large building nearby that it notes has science/research materials when I'm confident about hitting it... and I fished it up on the actual map, and it's a school. Performing arts, but still. The game even got the shape right, as it's not a normal building shape. I also see grocery stores and such which will probably be some kind of food stop if I look.

Pretty neat so far. Tutorials could be a liiiiittle more robust because I've been a bit confused about the controls here and there, but other than that it's okay so far. It is Early Access, so.

This is more a fun pair of videos to share then anything else but first some context. So AC6's multiplayer occasionally has people just straight cheating in it, as you'd expect to happen. The most common cheat that I've heard about is people giving their zimmermans (a really strong shotgun that normally only shoots one round before reloading) a full magazine and auto fire, lot's more missiles and effectively never ending terminal armor (shield that procs when you hit 1 hp and to my knowledge is really hard to wear down at all, it just ticks down normally) so it's normally impossible to kill them.
Needless to say, this makes it close to impossible to beat someone cheating like that. But as you're about to see, close to impossible doesn't mean impossible, particularly when the pilot in question seems to be a Lynx that's escaped his setting.

That last one is particularly impressive because the dude had maybe a few frames where he could get a kill on him and he still pulled it off.
