Question.

Should I actually finish my 1 finger death punch for the xbox 360 before I get one finger death punch 2 for the switch when it comes out?

I don't remember if there's a story or not and whether it continues in one finger death punch 2 from where 1 left off.

There is no story just beat all levels then beat all levels faster. So, no reason to bother.

At the end one of the devs just shows up and says thank you, please try again on hard.

What's the best Soulsborne game to get into if you're a first-timer for the genre? I've heard Sekiro is good but also brutally hard even by the standards of others Souls games.

Seikiro is a Tenchu game mostly not a Soulsbourne. Prolly just try the first one, if you've got a PS4 and aren't into kiting as much, go for Bloodborne.

Y'know, I haven't played Dark Souls 3 in ages. Did they end up nerfing the sword and board or making sorcery suck less?

Dark Souls 1. Parts of it are janky now and you'll probably need to look things up more than once, but the gameplay has aged a lot better than Demon's Souls. Designing the world map like a 3D Metroidvania was one of the best decisions they made.

So How many people have picked up Fire Emblem Three Houses. I just got it and I am wondering what everyone thinks about it.

I'm enjoying it so far and have started a Let's Play on youtube here.

I haven't. Busy with games that I own that I haven't even played yet for years.

Is the Star Wars Battleground worth buying now, or are they still at the "less content than the first SW: Battleground" stage?

So apparently there is a game coming out where you can waifu a genderbent Hitler.

I wish to god I was making this up, but well look for yourselves.

You can waifu not only Hitler-chan, but also most of the Nazi command and as of the last couple stretch goals, Stalin and Mussolini as well.

The dev team is composed of inveterate and unrepentant shitposters, well versed in historical meme warfare and who know exactly what they're doing and why they're doing it.

Case in point:

PANZERMADELS: Tank Dating Simulator

Stay! Stay! DPRK!

Attack Helicopter Dating Simulator

They've done other games that are more serious, but 'unrepentant shitposter' doesn't cover it.

I'm kinda surprised how much this Hitler looks like the one from the Rule 63 Dictators series.

...Is this game Japanese because after shit like my little sister has a hemroid I'm not particularly surprised on that front.

I hopped on board the Switch train the other day, and picked up Bayonetta 1+2 with it. Aside from Nintendo's flagship brands, what other games should I keep an eye out for? I've been doing the PC-master-race thing for nearly a decade, so I'm waaaay out of touch.

Blaster Master Zero and Blaster Master Zero 2 are pretty damn nice. First is a remake of the original game, the second is brand new sequel that is not a remake.

Super Mario Odessey, Zelda Breath of the Wild, Fire Emblem Three Houses, Fate Extella and Fate Extella Link. These are only some of the games to look out for. Plus Astral Chain a game by Platinum games comes out at the end of this month.

You know I keep on seeing things like Megaman collection, SNK collection street fighter collection and what not on the E-shop for the switch and I can't help but want a rare collection.

Banjo kazooie, diddy kong racing, uncensored conkors bad furday the works.

Considering that Banjo is heading to smash ultimate maybe, just maybe that would be a thing some day.

<---remains ever hopeful.

If all you want to do is replay those games, Project 64 is still good.

Playing them on a Switch... there's a RetroArch version for the console, I guess. I have no idea how well it works.

Project 64 doesn't handle a lot of games good. Like paper mario for instance, graphics glitch in the scenes before battle and other shit.

Honestly, I just rather buy them on the switch than rom 64 games. Not going to touch custom firmware for the switch either, I can't see that ending well.

I figured that Mario and Zelda would be good--they're flagship titles for a reason, and they're already on my list. I'm looking to flesh the list out more with things like indie games and decent ports. My last console was a Wii, so any recommendations of older games, preferably ones that aren't on PC (so no Skyrim) would be nice.

Come to remember it, Golf Story was also fun and funny.

Bastion and transistor are fun I believe indie games. Though you can find them on steam.
