Another round of voting has concluded, and so, here's how the stories are performing. Bit unusually, there's a tie at the top of this round's results, with both Recoil and last round's winner Trump Card garnering 183 votes apiece. I, Panacea follows in third, having gotten 171 votes this time around. Down at the other end of the scale, things start off with Meet the Heberts, whose 55 votes this round may be a sign of increasing interest as it nears the top of the overall standings, but still not enough to pull it out of the bottom three, followed by Danny & Taylor at 44, and finally, this round's winner All Alone, whose mere 29 votes was still enough to put it over the top, as the overall totals of all the others were still a few hundred behind. As usual, NSW turned in the best performance among the NSFW works, getting 68 votes in this round. Vote totals for the round may be found under the spoiler.
Still trying to bring it down.Since the next chapter of Trump card will be the last, are you going to add any new stories to the vote selection or are you still trying to reduce the number?
I'm actually considering just writing that last chapter on my own time to get it out of the way. Also, Ack - cliffhangers are evil. Especially something like that.
I was half inclined to only vote for Trump Card, just to ensure that it came around faster .
Any chance of opening Trump Card up for commissions so we don't have to wait so long?
Slippery Slope is now off hiatus. Is available for commissions.
Check out Jim Starluck 's spreadsheet for a reasonable prediction.
1) UP TO six votes. I will not count anything extra, and a write-in will likely be ignored (if I want to write a different story, I will, but at my own discretion). Suggestions are welcome, but I am under no obligation to carry them out. And just remember, the more stories I am writing, the longer it will take for your favourites to roll back around.
2) First vote is worth six points, second is worth five, and so on.
3) You can't vote twice on the same story. The voting code will count the last vote and ignore previous ones.
4) If I say "Voting is CLOSED", then this post comes up, with "Voting is OPEN" at the bottom, then you can vote again.
5) If I say "Voting will continue", it's still the same voting period. Voting has not restarted. You can not vote a second time.
6) When I have finished a few of the current fics, I will look at bringing stories back on to the list.
[X] Alea Iacta Est - 6
[X] I, Panacea - 5
[X] War Games - 4
[X] Recoil - 3
[X] Trump Card - 2
[X] NSW - 1
Specifically: SQUARE brackets around an X, one space, and please spell at least the first word of the name of the story properly. Number of voting points comes last. Please try to format your vote properly, so as not to confuse the vote counter.
