Vote Thread for Ack's Omake Corner

There's gonna be a jump; in the last two votes, incoming vote points have effectively doubled :D
Part of that was the transition from 5 vote choices to 6 -- which changed the total number of votes a single person can cast from 15 to 21 -- but we also seem to have picked up upwards of 18 new voters as well.

Going by the number of total votes cast and the maximum possible votes from a single person, we went from an estimate of 47 voters in the previous vote to 59 in this one. That's the third-highest estimate since the start of the first voting thread; the only times it's been higher were two voting cycles back in mid-June when you announced that Brian & Aisha was coming to a close, and it briefly shot to the top of the charts

So let me get this straight, Ack. Every time a fic updates, its count reverts to zero, but the counts on the other fics remain? Once you finish a chapter and the counter for that fic resets to zero, you start working on the chapter of the next-highest fic?

This entire setup seems needlessly complicated. But I'll give it a shot.

I love how Wyvern seems to consistently be in the top 3. People love their dragons it seems... not that I blame them.

Well of course Dragon is BEST GIRL after all :p

I am really invested in MirrorVerse even more after that last cliffhanger.
Ditto. It bored me before, but now that there seems to be more to it than everyone being asshole, I'm intrigued.

The zero-pointer probably shouldn't be there.

Missing a space between the hyphen and "1" in MirrorVerse vote.

If Ack seriously needs a single space to count my vote, he loses a lot of cred.

He uses a copy-paste into a spreadsheet, changing the format makes it go into it's own category rather than just going in with the rest of those votes.

He can still count it and does, it just makes it that much more of a hassle to do so.

Yes. If it just went on "highest voted story wins, all go back to zero" or worse, "highest voted story wins, all totals keep going" then some stories would never get seen, even if people are voting for them. This way, if you keep voting for something, it will end up being written, eventually.

The zero-pointer probably shouldn't be there.
Doesn't really bother me.

It's called common courtesy. :)

Also, you may have noted that I post up the names of people making such mistakes at the top of the vote count post.

I really do appreciate it when people take the time to format their votes correctly.

First time voting on this thread. Did I format it correctly? I copied the format from a different post, so it should be.
