You know, I was just thinking I'd like to increase what I vote for Alea Iacta Est. Would you be open to moving from a [War Games - 1 / Alea Iacta Est - 1] to a [War Games - 2 / Alea Iacta Est - 2] vote trading arrangement?

A few days ago some people were talking about not voting for stories so that they would get dropped off of the list, and other stories might be put on there. Probably not going to happen. Each story on the list has some people that like it, and they're likely to shift votes if necessary to keep them in the running. There's another possibility though. Vote for Security! Ack mentioned that it is near its end. Get it to update quickly, and it could be finished soon.

Yeah, I think I might be one of the only ones voting for Really Bad End. To be honest I'm probably voting just to see how it ends. Most of the curiosity came from how fucked up Amy could become, but she dead now so :confused:. Is anyone else voting for Really Bad End?

I was, but it took so long to rise to the top that I've abandoned it. It's just not popular enough to be worth it. Plus, it's rather uncomfortable to read.
 
After the round where Really Bad End got 0 votes a question was asked that I don't think we got an answer to:

If allowing RBE to drop off the voting list means that Ack will complete it on his own time we might actually see it updated and completed sooner, considering that it's currently looking at more than 66 rounds until it wins again and the threshold for victory keeps rising.

On the other hand, if dropping off the voting list means that it's abandoned in its entirety then the people who want to see more of it better keep voting.

I'm actually not especially attached to Security! over some of Ack's other fics, but I started a voting campaign for it because I want to see more completed fics, both from Ack and the Worm fandom in general.
 
Okay, so I had trouble getting into the next Danny & Taylor chapter. So I started writing a new chapter for It Gets Worse.

And then the chapter got way too big. So I chopped it in half. Here's the first half. Second half to follow.

Check your watched threads on your 'Your Account' page. That thing of not recieving alerts happen to me somewhat often. For a reason or another if there are too many alerts on your Alert page and you havent checked them all, some alerts go to the watched threads instead of the main alert page. I have no idea why it happens, but that is likely what is happening there. You checked this thread and started to getting the alerts for it again.
