My account is never getting approved, dawg. I can't post on any threads cuz I don't have any privileges, I didn't get any activation email or nothin'. I looked around, and it seemed like the only way to get noticed in my situation is to bother an admin directly. One of the hardest things for me to do is bother people I don't know, so I'm kinda stuck :/

Good news for everyone who couldn't figure out if I'm an amazon who climbs or if I climb amazons: I found an avatar that should clarify things a bit.
My new technique for character development is to spend time writing about the character in my notebook. I don't fill out a character sheet (although I do that as well), I just write about their thoughts, feelings, tastes, desires and history in a stream-of-consciousness.

In under a month and a half I've written almost seventy-five thousand words, and my story is coming to a close. The only thing I can really hope I get from all this is improvement in my writing. I hope all of this agonizing, fretting and frustration has amounted to a lasting something.

I just reread Most Deadly Blossom for funsies, and got reminded that Torika was indeed a blast to read! Even more so with how she started giving less and less of a crap about sticking to the "the world tells me" bs and instead just showing things she'd obviously need practice for. xD
