苏荃 (Su Quan) in The Deer and Cauldron is actually inspired by 苏麻喇姑 (Sumalagu)... I never expected this, but looking into it, Jin Yong likes to use actual real world people as inspiration for characters, such as 鸠摩罗什 (Kumārajīva) inspired Jiumozhi in Demigods and Semidevils, but some characters ruin the reputation of their inspiration, like Yin Zhiping in Return of Condor Heroes, which got changed

What a waste of a perfectly good Aoko Aozaki as daughter of Mystra, because she's a DND slut goddess, story... author ruined it by making the next stop, after Descent into Avernus and Rime of the Frostmaiden, into "Aoko Aozaki brings her lover/sister to Naruto world" for some fucking reason, what a waste...

I did find some good stories though, but they're like, simultaneous isekai type, or in faerun with a small cheat, or SI in naruto who got a memorial stone that contains other selves who died, or in the 1800's with a clone cheat but it's a fusion world

but like, you don't seem to like those kinds of stories

If you ever update your story The Slayer and if you're still planning on doing the Halloween World thing I just remembered the generic aspect of the spell from original Halloween World Fic you know people dressing up as generic characters like a wizard or hero version themselves.
