Well, he's not an obvious threat to Madoka, and at least for my read of her she doesn't hate Mami and Harold seems to be emotionally stabilizing her. On top of the fact of the soul gem cleaning. Remember, even after everything she's been through she actively tries to save Mami.

If you want, I could explain more in a PM, but essentially my own interpretation is that Homura is an utter emotional wreck held up by spit, duck tape, and prayer. And having an outsider suddenly pop out of nowhere, steal Madoka's attention from her, and seduce Mami is going to seriously poison Homura's first impressions of him.

Yeah, sorry about that. I have been dealing with some IRL stuff that doesn;t allow me much time for writing and honestly I have been struck with a lack for inspiration. I hope that I will get out of my funk at some point in the future and start posting again, but I don;t know exactly when. There is a small possibility of posting some other story to get the blood pumping again, but nothing is concrete yet.
