Not sure if you'll read this but I have an idea on your Church MC story, Angelica Amadeus from Guns and Nuns for next summon
Hey AJT! Big fan, if a silent one, and I was rereading the revised Single Father snippets. As I was rereading, I noticed that snippet 4 and 5 of the revised are actually the same chapter. Not sure if you want to fix something months old at this point, but thought I'd point it out regardless. Thanks for your work, and hope you have a good day!
It feels like once every couple of months I have to mass ignore ai slop threads to get to actual people writing stories and the paranoid part of me is wondering how many people don't bother to tag they're using it that slip through the cracks.
One of the fun stories I have from highschool took place in my first year, when my then recently met deskmate, who would become my best friend later on, was drawing on my arm without a care in the world untill the teacher sneaked up on him and said in a perfectly calm and loud voice "Mr.****** could you stop drawing male genitalia on your classmate's arm?" no more drawings were preformed during english.
There's this "substitute" type; rich girl/guy's crush dumps them because they're poor/ugly/in trouble at the time, and then goes overseas for like 5 years, rich girl/guy then gets hot/rich/powerful, finds MC, who looks like crush, starts dating them as a "substitute", and then real deal comes back, causing MC to be dumped, but then rich girl/guy eventually regrets...

isn't this FGO Kiyohime???

Anyway, the short stories here really played with this trope to bits, like every variation there is, and I'm sure there's plenty of microdramas that borrow from those plots too, I mean, holy shit, they're so soap opera

FGO's version of Kiyohime was a stalker from the start, to be fair

But if you think about it, Emiya is just knockoff Dante with swords for guns, less cool, and too much tanning spray
lmao gacha player got so mad that when he went to danmachi he became khorne incarnate

and then he became all the world's evil lmao from sheer gacha resentment

I guess it kind of makes sense for the player-insert MC to be somewhat upset, like, for example, if you spent all your resources ranking up your affection with Jeanne, but then Sieg shows up, and suddenly you've gotten NTR'd out of nowhere, you know

lmao Jeanne lying to the player-insert that she "doesn't remember the previous times she was summoned" and then immediately running to Sieg's bedroom after telling player-insert this lmao cheating like a real life person lmao
A story needs stake, stakes make people feel the tension, the necessity to do something other than eating popcorns (cringe) and aura farming for multiple chapters.
Hit the mc at the point where they have no other choice but to act, if the mc is too strong, hit them with their family, their friends, their sole weakness, anything at all.
Or you could focus on another weaker but interesting character.
Finding a Biigoh who has a happily ever after is like pulling a five-star servant in FGO with friend point gacha.
