Salutations Friends!

I am Penny Polendina and I just came into being six months ago! I was adopted by my creator, Dr. Polendina after they found out that I had Aura, thus a soul. I ,of course, asked what a soul was; but there wasn't a very clear answer given to me on that front.

Just that, all life has one and the Creatures Grimm, who I was made to combat, were soulless.

Did that mean I was alive? Even though I am made out of metal and circuitry? Well, that was an answer that I would have to find out on my own. But even though I was created in a lab, I haven't faced much discrimination caused from my origins yet.

But then, my existence as a fully combat ready aura using android is also top secrete.

Most of my early life was spent doing various tests: Personality testing, recognition testing, combat testing, you name it, I was probably tested in it.

These test were mostly oversaw by Doctor White, who taught me how to dance and dots on me like I were her favorite niece. My father, who taught me much about human interactions so I may better blend in with society. A General Ironwood, who seems hard on the outside but really is what was called, “a big softy” on the inside according to one of the lab assistants. The General mainly oversaw any of my combat tests and would give me tips on how to fight more effectively.

The General was a nice guy and a good teacher in those months.

My life while simple and peaceful. But things changed, my Father got me interested in life outside the lab with literature, and even a contraption that connects to the internet called a Scroll. It had many different features and an app called Angry Birds which was amusing for a time. But the Scroll aloud me to see things I could while in the lab.

It wasn't long until I felt a sense of longing, and the urge to see what was outside with my own eyes.

My father noticed and new it was time. So he had spoke with the good General on my behalf which lead to an interesting conversation. The General asked me what I would like to do. Would I like to be a civilian? Or would I like to become a huntress that protects those who couldn't themselves?

I, of course, chose the latter. I was created to fight and while I had the freedom to chose whether or not I should, I decided to protect the world. This pleased the general, and he said that I am the one that will save the world.

I wondered what he meant by that, though. Even my father had no clue when asked. Still, my father was fretting over my choice, and I told him it would be fine. It was days later that he gave me a gift, a weapon. A highly functional weapon that I could use to deadly effect. I hugged my father afterwards of course, and made sure I didn't accidentally break him. He is rather fragile compared to me after all.

Then, days later, it was time to set off. It was a tearful goodbye and I could tell my father was still worried about me and my chosen profession.

But he needn't worry! Because I am combat ready.

Melee Combat [Rank 4] You are about average in melee combat for a beginning Huntress. You know where the pointy end of your sword goes and how to throw a punch. Though, due to your special situation, you have many advantages that other huntresses do not.


Range combat[ Rank 4] You know how to aim and fire to great success in short distances. You have less chance of hurting yourself when you are firing your lazer.

Dance[Rank 5] You learned how to dance to the point where you do not have two left feet and wont crush your partners foot accidentally. Your favorite dance is the robot for obvious reasons.

Spoiler: Aura Abilities

Aura Control[Rank 6] You have a rather high ability to control your aura compared to your peers, thanks to your origin as a prototype combat android. Many will be jealous at your ability to make the greens lines of your combat outfit glow.

Aura Reinforcement[Rank 2] You're just slightly below your peers on Aura reinforcement on account of the fact that you could already shatter concrete with a punch and jump great distances without it.

Aura shield[Rank 4] You can make a shield using aura, though it would break if you don't constantly reinforce it with your aura. Though even then, it may break in a few hits from a relatively strong combatant.

Semblance[Rank ???] You have yet to unlock your semblance, but you could feel something deep in your soul waiting to be unleashed.

Next Generation Combat Android Prototype: As a N.G.C.A.P you are rather good at learning how to combat things.

???: You feel as if there is something in your soul waiting to be unleashed. Maybe it will happen at school?

Social Blunderer: Due to your situation you are rather hindered socially. Perhaps this would fade in time as you interact with more people? Still you sometimes behave rather erratically.

Unable to Lie: Perhaps it was just how you were programmed, or how you were brought up since your awakening, but you hiccup everytime you lie. You didn't even know you had the ability to do that. However this doesn't mean you can't omit some truths.

Anyway, since this vote will only last another 12 hours or so, I'll talk about the options. There may be some spoilers if you haven't played the games before.

Spoiler: Planesswalker

Spark of potential makes Penny have the ability to become a New walker. A new walker, unlike old Walker isn't a godly energy being that could lol nope your shit,a new walker is best described as a fairly powerful mage. From my understanding. Though there is a chance you can pick up on spells used fast, and things like that.

Anyway, to awaken the potential Penny needs to be in danger from my understanding, which is a simple thing to get into because you are on a death world. Once you unlocked said potential and left the overcharge of your awakening the planeswalking would be treated as a semblance that with over use, could overwrite your personality by the general and his research staff. But you would know better of course.

Anyway, the second awakening, I don't really know exactly what triggers it and a massive amount of trauma that was caused by being tortured by a bunnycat triggered it in a different quest. But well, I don't want that or have that bunnycat as an option.

Therefore, your second awakening will likely happen during the festival when everything goes to shit. But you would at least have a direct understanding how to traverse the blind eternities and such.

Anyway, to get the most use out of this you will be required to bond with land so you could draw mana and stuff from it and do things with it. If this option wins, more on that later.

Spoiler: Keyblade Master

Keyblade is rather different. It has the ability to open anything and that is just one thing it could do. Basically, you will be given a choice while Penny has a particular dream, specializing in warrior, defender, or mage. This would influence your fighting style and whether certain things come to you faster than the other. Then what she is afraid of and so for, though unlike the game that doesn't influence your exp growth because this quest doesn't use that system as it requires a lot of grinding.

Anyway, the keyblade could do a lot of shit. You will likely gain access to some final fantasy magic sometime in the future. A D link, aka destiny link would be available to forge. You also could travel worlds unlike everyone else.

But in order to travel worlds you would need to get a keyblade glider and your armor. A keyblade glider allows you to fly while your armor protects your heart from the darkness and such going in the inbetween worlds.

At least that is from my understanding since I haven't played birth by sleep at all.

Anyway, on to D.Link. D. Links well, think of them as a social link with someone that allows you to draw on their power and vice versa. Like if you end up with a d. link with say Ruby, you could become really fast while she gets the ability to draw and well, shoot fire balls.

From my understanding at least from the lore. In the game it was used as summoning people or entering an overdrive.

I'll be looking that back up just to be sure, or just going with my interpretation with it.

Anyway, a keyblade would come to you in a time of need. So, likely sometime during your assignments if something goes fubar or again the festival where everything goes to shit.

There is also another method to travel between worlds that may come up. Gummi ships. Your gummy ship could virtually look like anything as long as it has a cockpit, and engines. But I will likely not bother with having a vote for designs or anything like that if that ever comes up because well. It's not important.

If I am wrong about any of this, you may tell me. In fact, you should tell me because I hate being wrong.

Anyway, I will likely have an OOC vote next update to pick Penny's primary color. But I may veto 2 colors on the sense they don't really fit Penny all too well. Green, as she isn't part of nature, and Black as she isn't amoral and self serving from my understanding of her.

That doesn't mean I'm going to bar you from learning them eventually though.

Anyway, I need to do a few things before the next update. Watch a few penny clips to make sure I got a good grasp of her personality, find out how many months you now have before the festival and everything going to shit, and stuff like that.

But I will try to get the update out as soon as I possibly can.

Also, my write-in policy is I am ok with it. But I reserve the right to veto parts of it if they don't make sense. Also, try to keep the write-ins short. You will not need to micromanage everything to get a good result.
