You're too early for April Fool's day!Hello, everyone.
As part of our efforts to upgrade the forum, we decided to go over the listings and update the names of things to really match what you'll find there.
Unfortunately, as we were doing this, one of the dumpster fires spread to the porn mag collection and now the whole site is on fire.
Firefighting efforts are ongoing, but while we work on it you can continue posting as normal. Not like it's that big a change around here...
Tell me you're flat earther without saying it.
You can change it in account preferences.Ok. Nice joke. But how the f i turn this off? I came her to read and not for eye pain.
Kinda want to keep this, it's a bit eye glaring, but it has potential.
and hey, it's still better then Light mode.
Spits
Light mode is the only thing my eyes can stand these days. The immediate confusion, panic, and eventual disgust I felt when I hopped back in. Man. I'll miss you eye blasting default light mode. I'll miss you forever.
Nah. I hope the names stayI really don't see how the new names are better than the old ones. Is there a poll or something about whether or not users like the change?
The Dumpster Fire style is a fairly small modification of the Dark Responsive styles, so if you like it those are the ones to look at.The funny thing is, flaming dumpster background aside, the Dumpster Fire doesn't look that bad. Replace the background with something normal, like a plain black or grey backing, and it would legitimately be one on the site. Similar to the Blackened we have now, just with extra widescreen support. Considering that the lack of widescreen support is the only reason why I don't use the Blackened style myself, I would strongly suggest something like this for when we move to XF2.

Additionally, there is a "style chooser" menu available at the bottom left corner of every page, below the reply box, labelled in the name of your currently active theme. Should be a little gear symbol next to it. The default normally is Light Responsive.
Oh, trust me, I'm well aware. I already use Dark Responsive (Green) as it is. However at the same time, I also happen to really like the Orange-Text-On-Black-Background color combination, and unfortunately, none of the Dark Responsive styles currently have that, save for the Dumpster Fire one.The Dumpster Fire style is a fairly small modification of the Dark Responsive styles, so if you like it those are the ones to look at.
