[X]Look around for more trouble? Really AGAIN?
Drip. Drip. Drip.
It's starting to sprinkle a little bit, huh it wasn't supposed to rain today. Guess the weatherman was wrong again. Oh well, nothing you can do about it.
"So how far away is the shopping mall? Do you think we'll get there before it let's out? or will we have to take cover somewhere?"
"Not that much farther away, might take us thirty minutes if we walk? Not quite sure. I generally don't walk in the alleys after all. don't worry about the rain. Doesn't seem like it's going to get much worse. To me anyways."
You shrug. Not that likely that you'll need to take shelter somewhere then. You'll keep on making your way towards the magical shopping arcade. Nothing will go on. Nothing will go wrong at all. You haven't tempted fate enough right? Maybe once more. Nothing will go wrong at all. Totally. Absolutely nothi-
It begins pouring cats and dogs. The sky unleashes a downpour of rain and wind. Thunder begins to ring in your ears. Absolutely soaked to the bone.
"Well at least it's not hailing."
"Shut up, you don't get to make comments taunting the gods anymore."
You continue to trudge on through the rain and wind. Hoping desperately that it would let off some and allow you to attempt to dry off. No luck in that department. Maybe you should have raised luck more. No, No that's just silly. Luck couldn't affect the weather could it?
You walk out of the alley's to an open street. There seems to be a man admiring his reflection in a store front window. The people around the area are being to get that fuzzy faded out look that occurred when you first walked into the magical side.
"Destroy it all. Wreck destruction to all that bare that name. It's all their fault. You couldn't do anything. It's only their fault. She had nothing wrong with her before. It's only their fault. She wasn't depressed she was fine. They made her do it. You couldn't have done a thing."
You can hear some little hissing voice around here. Sounds like it's coming from that guy. You take a closer look at him to see a strange looking snake design curling around his ear. It seems to be the source of the hissing you can hear. You take a moment to ask your fairies about it but, Gabriel seems to know something by the way his eyes light up.
"You know what that thing is?"
"Demon marker. That's a rather nasty bit of magic. It's a bit of corruption and temptation and black magic all whipped up to turn some human into a near demon. I've not seen that mark personally before, each demon has a unique one after all. "
Undris whispers in your ear.
"Special Snowflakes."
"From the size I'd say it's relatively new. I wonder why they did it. It's not a very cheap spell to do and there's not really much reason to do it nowadays. My guess is some older demon is playing around. I don't really recommend getting involved. My father is one thing. Someone that could pull that off is not someone you want to be messing with right now. Let's just keep walking and pretend we don't see him."
"Too late. I can see you."
You turn and look at the Man and his glowing red snake tattoo. He's holding an umbrella. Something is weird about the umbrella. It reminds you almost of the rings.
"Nosy little brats. Deal with them Van. They'll try to stop you. Keep you from saving her.
He idly swings the umbrella towards Gabriel a blast of wind sends him sprawling down the street.
"Kill him. Let his blood mix with the rain."
"No. He's of no consequence. He's done nothing to me."
The Man, swings the umbrella again as a mini tornado sweeps Gabriel away.
"I regret EVERTHING!"
The rings on your hands start glowing.
"Another artifact user? Subdue him. We could use him. Bring him to us and we'll reward you.
His eyes glaze slightly as the Tattoo glows a deeper red.
Van begins to wield the Umbrella like a sword.
[]Run AWAY
[]Fight
[]Write in plan.
[]Consider that this isn't the best time to get into a fight.
[]Maybe you should go get Gabe? Maybe he could be useful. Okay maybe not.
[]Hope to the heavens that someone will come help you?
OOC note
Have fun with a General Class enemy.
Gabe was a miniboss in comparison.
I'll note that you'll need all the help you can get. Pay attention to patterns and hope that the dice gods don't fuck with you
