I guess that depends on how you count this one:
Nah, that's, like, all skill.
A 5-7-5 haiku, not bad for an accident. Well, discounting the last line anyway.Nah, that's, like, all skill.
We roll dice here super well!
... was that a haiku?
Penwriter... this is from Ciara's POV.
Technically, from the "pet" pov, she actually owns the ferry shuttle and is being paid ALOT to ferry a group of ship girls about for a few days.

It depends on the ship girl... does she reduce herself to be being the mount that obeys the crew? or is she the king of the ship that the crew obeys? That reminds me. How exactly does a crew interact with a ship girl?
What would Ciara's reaction to being told that?Penwriter... this is from Ciara's POV.

Ciara "What... no... you're joking, right? You mean the Eldanar are actually people... nooo... I guess it's possible that the evolved minions of the Realty Deviants might one day be people... but I don't believe that's possible here and now."
Oh, and what gives her the right to decide what defines a "person"? By certain standards, she doesn't count as a "person".Ciara "What... no... you're joking, right? Different physiology and nature does not mean that different species are not "people". Just that they're different.
Yes, I know. I'm a believer in educating people young, you see.Considering by the standards of space ship girls, she's basically a young child... a VERY young child...
Obviously you need to have a subspace presence to be a person!Oh, and what gives her the right to decide what defines a "person"? By certain standards, she doesn't count as a "person".

Still, your big sisters hired the service of the ferry shuttle for your stay with one plasma credit. Certainly the ferry shuttle's pet was more than happy with the payment and seem to feel that it was generous.
A bit different from previous post being that plasma credits were approximately a dollar's value. All of which was... virtually free, given their cost being a small fraction of a plasma credit.

I personally like Mordin's rule. But really belief about what constitutes "people" varies from individual to individual even within a species like Humans, scifi loves to play on it but it is actually a big wildcard what any given species will think qualifies as "people".

Even at the prices listed there you couldn't hire a taxi for days for a dollar.US dollars, yes... I never did say the location for the dollars, did I? ^_^
There are a number of countries where the dollar is stupidly strong, where you can live like a king easily... :3

The prices will actually go up if you try to do anything serious or go to the super posh posh places. Notice my commentary about " you were exposed to a surprising number of creatures inhabiting Port Royale."

Twenty years ago there were many countries where people were living on pennies a day, but these days the general wealth distribution between countries has flattened out (somehow despite inequity between individuals in already developed nations skyrocketing).
Pretty much this... tanuki are bad at explaining stuff while sleepy @_@I'm seeing the dollar as the equivalent value for a space ship girl. And if you base the plasma credit on a US dollar. Then have space ship girls based on humans. A dollar for a human is a plasma credit for a space ship girl.
Basically space ships take up incredible amounts of resources in comparison to normal people so to them what could be a pittance would be a massive amount to a person.
