I don't think Taylor is ready or powerful enough to kill any of the spirits in her head or soul or where ever they are yet. Remember these people were locked up because they nearly destroyed a universe or two and shit like that.

Taylor is not in their ball park right now.

While I would be happy at the bastard getting his just dues, this is a very bad idea that would only cause Taylor to die and him to take over.

I think you're all seriously overestemating the riptooth option.

We can be broken mentally (such as when we ate the forbidden fruit), we can take damage (such as our weakness to steel when we got our sword), but I doubt we can die, and I very much doubt we can be permanently possessed... And even temporary possession would require our permission (unless we're talking elder-god here, and hopefully we don't wander into any of their prisons...)

But Riptooth.... should be pretty easy to deal with. And no, I don't think we can kill him, but we can hurt him.

These options confuse me.

The first one sounds like a dead-end because you'll be suckered and/or just plain deemed unworthy, while the second one sounds like reverse psychology. Particularly the "can't trick me into learning" part.

Wait, so either we learn Masking by "losing," or we gain the self-admitted betrayer as a teacher (and thus still gain Masking) by "winning." And lets not forget that the stone may not actually contain Masking, or may contain Masking and something particularly nasty... I'm honestly not sure if I want to win or lose.

Not to mention he's probably using Masking to hide his true nature from us even now. My main question about his true nature... Is he Fae? Because if he is, then we can definitely trust that Masking IS contained in the stone.


I would also like to point out that the bet was he'd trick us into learning the art of BETRAYAL... Masking, while very useful... Isn't betraying anything. So even if we "lose" and gain Masking... We still haven't learned the art of Betrayal, and so we still win.

I must say, Taylor truly showed her Fae nature in the wording of her bet.

I must also say that Gremthaxel scares the shit outta me. This guy is Dangerous. Like possibly Elder God dangerous.
 
I'm eagerly looking forward to this biting Taylor in the ass. I can't wait.
