never doing that again.
.....dude, you're just showing off the cool links. :)

Is it a normal experience to feel like one needs to thoroughly read/re-read and note-take both the Bible and The Lesser Key of Solomon when writing a DxD fic? Because that is kind of the feeling I am getting as I plan out future events and try to think of ways to properly characterize people and world build.

Yes, but you'd be putting in more work than Ishibumi. You can't really fix the train wreck of a plot. Most of the readers are there for the characters and the boobs. Stick with that and you'll save yourself a headache. Even if you do fix it, you're better off publishing as original work.

Also already slightly hating myself for including actual numbers in my system, as it means I have to actually learn how to spreadsheet properly. It is nice in some ways though.

Not much is going to help you with that.

I could also do with a re-watch of the anime, and to actually get around to reading more than the first light novel, despite how dry most translations of it I have tried made the story.

Not sure how much of that is just me stressing out and trying to come up with reasons to procrastinate writing and planning.

I will be honest, I will totally read that story if you publish it. Anyone putting in that much effort into a story I would at least try to read a chapter so long as it does not disturb me. Godspeed, good sir!

*Edit* on an unrelated note, I am writing my first omake. If you guys wouldn't mind, would you tell me what type of food might you want in case you're in the aftermath of a natural disaster (whichever ones relevant to the area you live, or not I am not picky right now) preferably something you think Tony Stark would be able to turn into a good tasting MRE.

Prepackaged foods that won't spoil quickly, do not need to be refrigerated, and and don't require much in the way of preparation. Beef jerky, granola bars, MREs, etc. Instant ramen is good if you have access to an abundance of clean water.

I appreciate the help!

Oats (oatmeal) and grains like rice or wheat... perhaps ground into flour... is also essential for long-term survival. Pure carbs in easily digested form. You can even eat it raw if you have to. Not saying it'd be pleasant, but it'll keep your body going quite a while.

Thank you also for responding! Although I do not think I was particularly clear. I meant something like the world War I MRE. They were a full meal and they taste good over 100 years later. If something like that could be made that long ago a super genius in the early 2000s should be able to make something really good. Let's assume that getting fresh water will not be a problem (I have a reason for that in the omake). Still, this is enough on its own to give me more ideas. Again I really appreciate the help!

I get a lot of smoke and smog where I live so I'd go for something to clear the sinuses and wet foods like apple sauce to help with parched throats from the dry air and fires.

Something warm, soupy, and filling. For flood victims.
I appreciate the help but, I forgot I had a doctor's appointment(and other stuff popped up after that) and so I don't have enough time to do basic research on the information you both gave me, I'll get back to you on it tomorrow after I look some stuff up because I am to tired right now. Basically I'm just going to lurk for the rest of the time I'm online tonight. Anyways I hope you all have a great night/day
Edit1
So because I was an idiot and I did not check my medicine for the day after, I had to get more meds. Just got more meds but it's too late to take them. So I wasn't able to do much, but here's why I do have for ideas.

(DISCLAIMER/Note that while it might not work like this in real life I would like to remind people that Marvel verse bullshit includes a plant soaking up a super material, and people that eat that super material gaining superpowers. So I would like to think that things that are considered possibly effective in the national natural medicinal whatever it's called would definitely work there even if they are not guaranteed to work here.)

I will probably sort these out later into what type of environments and sections get what type of MRE but right now this should do.
Caffeine free tea(probably leaves) (and packets of honey) to help with sore throats and for help relaxing, and Cocoa powder for the morale boost of having actual chocolate and for it's more calming and energy boosting qualities.
For soups some ideas are chicken bouillon (and chicken chunks) with a package of mixed vegetables(warms you up, is healthy, taste good, other good things that I am forgetting / whatever), beef bouillon (with beef chunks) with a package of mixed vegetables(hearty meal, warms you up, healthy, taste good, etc.)...maybe a gazpacho too? Idk.

Regular dishes peanut butter and jelly (with actual peanuts)
Pizza (meat lovers {haha QQ :D } and pepperoni) I'll be adding in more later on when I'm medicated. All right people have a good day/night!
