General chat thread

For the love of mercy, what the fuck do they think those numbers mean in non-"math input"?
Actually, it still gets it wrong in 'math input' mode.

What he did was use a different formula that gets the correct result using its math.

And then tried to act like we were using it wrong rather than he was being sneaky.

Quick! We have to bring out the models of formal, mathematical logic to truly see if this problem is 1 or nine ala true Spacebattles magic.

Sure.

Though I was specifically speaking in defense of AC- who was pointing out that WA got a '9' from that question when Hatless up there suggested using it.

At which point you quoted AC with that [x] to doubt thing. Which made it look very much like you were insulting him, rather than WA.

Now, much as AC and I don't often get along and generally disagree on almost everything either of us considers important, I'm not a big fan of that sort of behavior, that's why I stepped in. I'd suggest editing in a bit of clarification and apology to him for that.
Thanks for the clarification.

Sorry for acting like an ass yesterday, and my sincere apologies if you feel like I've offended you in any way. That was not my intention.

I actually didn't.
If you switch from "natural language" to "math input" the formula gets changed automatically.
I am not sneaky, you people suck at using the program.

Go and try yourself. Type that sht in natural language then switch to math input and hit Enter.

Man I didn't think it would be math that got this feed all filled up. I figured it'd be something more, let us say, relevant to the tastes of the site?

Twitch allows softcore porn now, very funny.

I did exactly that as part of the test.

I still got nine.
I don't know how you can fail that hard, but congratulations.

Edit: Unless you used "÷" instead of "/ "for division. Then everything is correct, including the answer 9.

Okay, just tested it myself. Here's the link for the equation in natural language. If you click that link, you'll see this:

From there, if you click math input, then click into the text box and hit enter, you get this:
Capture2.jpg

Edit: On the other hand, if you click math input but then do not hit enter afterwards, it continues to show the previous result, like so:

You knew that, and yet you chose to use the one that was not used in the original equation presented.
In the context of algebra they are interchangeable, when shit gets more complex people use the other one.
When / appears, computers think in fractions, which will give virtually the same answer as ÷ for basic stuff.
That's where the difference comes from, not from a dumb equation which is so poorly written that the correct answer is "write your shit better".
That isn't a math problem, it's a linguistics problem.

Let's talk about porn search terms.

One thing I've noticed over decades of online porn searching is that terms are expanding and becoming more useful. In the early days back when AOL was relevant, it could be difficult to find a lot of results for terms like "skinny" (but eye-rollingly there were tons of results for "little" which isn't quite the same thing). Nowadays it's easy to find a lot of results for "skinny" though the neighboring terms are often more common (e.g. "teen").

On the subject, "teen" seems to be an abused term -- it seems to mean vaguely under 30, fewer tattoos than average, natural style make-up, no breast implants nor other obvious cosmetic alterations, and usually skinnier -- which all happens to be my type, especially if the girl is clearly 21 or over.

But it feels a bit creepy to search for "teen" even if what the term finds mostly isn't actual teens.

Anyway, some of the more fun searches I've done are oxymoron combos -- "deep teen" / "rough handholding" / etc. -- which get decent results and are mildly amusing in themselves.

What's everyone else's memorable / funny / unusual porn search terms? Or rants about porn search terms, that's welcome too.

Quick, put together an outline for a SFW fic. How much have you told them about the one you're actually working on?
I've only told them that it's a Danny Phantom fic and that's it.

What I didn't tell them that it's a crossover with a certain adult animated web show about a bunch of horny demons that kill people for a loving and the title character gets in a relationship with a certain anthropomorphic dog character and then eventually knots her. Also Sam eats bird pussy.

So now you understand why I'm hesitant on showing it, unless I make a SFW version (easier said than done) and maybe sit them down to watch said web show. Which……I don't know, maybe my dad may get a kick out of it? He seems to like Rick and Morty. My mom may have some…..objections. Though she likes Invader Zim so she might like the fact that the voice of Zim is on that show as a major character.
