Who did they get the silver bullets from. It's shown that the hunters have been infiltrated by Pentex. They could have given them the wrong bullets to try and thin out their numbers. Then strike when the werewolves on un subverted hunters are weak after the fight.

Also, it's worth noting that this is after Door called Blair a "Worm Freak" and hit the "They know too much" button.

We know they're getting some supplies from Pentex, it would hardly be surprising for them to sabotage those and mess with the silver bullets.

Granted, one would expect the Society of St Leopold to have their own silver bullets. Still, even if they're not totally in bed there's metaphysical corruption in at least this branch and with Pentex that also means the more regular kind as well.

They probably would, but would they have them available immediately. England does not really strike me as a strong hold for what sounds like a Catholic order.

Honestly, I respect the work for Hunter the Partnering. But I do disagree with a lot of its lore choices due to how I envision stuff on my end.


England is the Venture + Union stronghold and both fucking hate the Old Master / Spirits with human puppets, Penxtex would be in hell of a time trying to set up and keep its shit in working order with both of those looking and being ready to fuck them over

There being a well established Tremere chantry in Mythras' backyard is already a bit odd. Even if he's currently occupy that Sabbat shitheel's body, there's no way the sun king would allow those cretins to be anything approaching power players in land he considers his. They also don't talk like this is a new thing, but Mythras has only been in a lessened state for a few years by this point, not nearly long enough for any serious Tremere territorial gains to become the status quo as they seem to have.
