My account is logged out if I open a new threadmark

Just as the title says, whenever I open a new threadmark, the opened threadmark is logged out for some reason. Is it my browser or in the settings? Yes, I selected the 'Stay logged in' checkmark when I logged in. Will someone point out to me on how to stop this from happening?
 
Are you opening the threadmarks in a new tab or something? I have never had that problem, but I find it just barely conceivable that it's an interaction with tabs.

This is true, but I'm skeptical that it's relevant to augustus's problem. In my experience, links generated by the forum software use "the same one" as you're clicking the link from, so that the difference is only a problem with links created by users. But augustus specifically pointed to threadmarks in the OP, which are generated by the forum software.

I think this is a bug, but I'm not sure where.
 
I too, am having the same problem.
I log into questionablecontent, then the link in the story goes to forums.questionablecontent and asks me to log in again.

It is... sub optimal. I have to scroll up, and delete the forums. part to get to the link, or log in a second time.
