On a Pale Horse (Umamusume/Youjo Senki)

Destriers were supposedly renowned for their hindquarter-power and ability to coil, spin, twist, or turn rapidly. In Uma-form, this would be the equivalent of steel-bending gluteals and a core/pelvic muscle group build like an industrial spring. In a purely athletic sense
What I heard is that Shiro gotta have a big and powerful ass!
We have talked a lot about Shiro as game character but what about support
Shiro causes Umas to roll twice for a training result by scaring them after the first failure.

:V:VNot just that, but incredibly flexible hips and pelvis

Should be more or less true for all Umas, really, but the differences in muscle mass/density Uma-form is probably like between "bounce a coin off of" and "A two-ton steel car will bounce off"

As a reminder, Shirogane's weight, at a mild 140s cm height: [REDACTED]!!!

"Good goddesses, REALLY? Shiro YOU above all shouldn't be so quick to say, ne?!"

"I am actually quite proud to weigh roughly the same as an affordable and economical Volkswagen. I get better fuel efficiency myself, though"

Netkeiba is probably your best bet
Yeah I'm doing a decent job of convincing the internet I am a horse racing addict with how much time I've spent looking at that site.

And now I've planned out Shirogane's race schedule for 1998 and...uh...

She is basically playing reoccurring villain, lmao.

"Shiro-chan, stop running in the step races when you already qualified!"
"But I need the practice!"

Also poor Phalaenopsis.

How many races is she in in one year?
More than some horses entire careers is given, but by how much?

Bond villain, Ojousama villain or [mustachioed villain ??

She's just the Blacksmith, tempering the rival Uma's they either break or are reforged anew stronger than ever.

Where's Uma Connor!!??

She would be such a polarizing figure, having tons of fans, haters and confused people because of how different she's in the races and outside them.

10 years later:
Orzel Shirogane, making races more fun since 1998

If she races every other week, probably something like 48 races in her Classic year, hell maybe more if she decides that there's too much money being left on the table and she does summer training and while still running races. So probably 40 to 44 more races than most other horses in any given year is my estimate.

Also poor Phalaenopsis.

So I'm guessing Shiro screws her out of her G1 wins. I wonder how though, since Phalaenopsis seems to be a late surger/end closer. Maybe Shiro mucks up the mid-pack with her movement and causes a massive blockage? Otherwise I get the feeling that Phalaenopsis just runs her down like Grass Wonder did.

I mean Phalaenopsis originally was supposed to simply enjoy racing and winning, now she gets to race against Shiro and I'm assuming it'll be more than just during the Tiara's.

Don't forget, the reason Grass can stand up to the not fully activated Shiro aura is because she practices with her and is a classmate. By the end of the year and Tiara's Phala might be used to it, but those first races won't quite be the usual fun competitions, even if her placements don't change.
