just a fun idea of the full families treating be in the past as a nice meet up as the past selves are having mental breakdowns/freak outs

Some prompts:

-Jaune's ancestors once had Faunus slaves (not the Sith family, they were retainers). Blake is very unhappy... Also possibly turned on.

-Sun learns that Blake has a human servant, her maid Astra. He is aghast... She has a maid? Who could make him banana sundaes and never told him?! Blake is just "What"?

-Jaune the bounty hunter! Apparently he actually made some decent coin on the way to Beacon... And he got a bit of a reputation. Enough that it makes the White Fang fear him and Roman Torchwick take him seriously... Which RWBY abuses mercilessly.

And since it's Dragonslayer Month!

-Yang gets tutoring from Jaune in math. She's good at it but he's better. Math puns and romance ensue!

-Yang needs a partner for a dance competition. She recruits Jaune to help her!

-Pyrrha is upset Jaune and Yang are spending so much time together... And she decides to become Yang's rival. Which ends in violence, hilarity, and Jaune being totally oblivious to it.

Cue it all being from trap making and turn Jaune into the demented hybrid of Kevin McCallister and Macguyver!
-Pyrrha is upset Jaune and Yang are spending so much time together... And she decides to become Yang's rival. Which ends in violence, hilarity, and Jaune being totally oblivious to it.
Jeez, why not make it go full out with some other RomCom tropes.

For example, Yang happens to find a diary that won't go away no matter what she does. Throw it away? Ends up under her pillow. Burn it with Fire Dust, still there when she gets back. Throw it into a wood chipper amidst a box full of Blake's dirty Smut that she caught Ruby reading? Gets back there but now with Illustrations!

And all it is filled with is romantic, loving details about her life married with Jaune. With her deciding to disprove it all only to find it to be true, and quickly falling in love with him. Not knowing that she isn't the only one with such a book.

The Confession New
It was late, after a joint training session with CFVY. Everyone was sweaty, laughing, packing up gear in the locker room. Coco was teasing Velvet about her ears twitching every time Yatsuhashi walked by—"Girl, just ask him out already"—when Velvet paused and sniffed the air. She slowly turned to stare intensely at Blake.

Blake, tying her bow a little tighter out of habit, froze mid-motion at the stare.

"Yes, Velvet?" Blake asked quietly. "Something... I can help you with?"

Velvet sniffed a few more times. She stared at Blake.

"... When was the last time you were in Atlas, Blake?"

Velvet's voice was quiet. Too quiet.

Blake's heart dropped into her stomach. She opened and closed her mouth, slowly.

"Blake? What's up?" Yang asked, leaning from her locker. Ruby and Weiss looked with concern too.

"When was it?" Velvet pressed again.

Velvet was staring at her, ears flat against her head, fists clenched so tight her knuckles were white. The room had gone dead silent—Coco's sunglasses slipped down her nose. Weiss tensed a bit. Ruby looked confused, as Yang frowned deeply.

"I..." Blake started, but the words died.

Velvet took one step forward. "You were there."

It wasn't a question.

Blake's mouth went dry. "Velvet—"

"That night. My parents. Atlas suburbs. Three years ago." Velvet's voice cracked like a whip. "I remember the masks. The horns on one of them. I was hiding in the closet. I heard everything. I smelled everything." Her eyes filled with tears, but they were furious tears. "You were the lookout."

The accusation hung in the air like smoke.

Blake didn't deny it. She couldn't.

Coco stepped between them instinctively. "Vel, what the hell—"

"Get out of the way, Coco," Velvet said, voice trembling. "She was there when they broke my father's ribs. When they told my mother she'd betrayed her people by marrying a human. When they—" She choked. "I thought they were going to kill them."

Blake's knees felt weak. "I didn't know," she whispered. "I didn't know it was going to be like that."

Velvet laughed, a broken, bitter sound. "You didn't know? You were there!"

"I was told—" Blake swallowed hard. "I was told your mother was selling Menagerie secrets to Atlas. That we were just... questioning her. I was new. They kept me outside. I was uncomfortable—I faked a police siren to get them to leave early—"

"You think that makes it better?!" Velvet shouted. "You think pretending to be a lookout while they beat my parents half to death makes you innocent?!"

Coco reached for Velvet's shoulder. She shrugged her off violently.

Blake's eyes were burning. "No. It doesn't. Nothing makes it better."

Velvet stared at her for a long moment, chest heaving. Then she turned and walked out, ears pinned flat, shoulders shaking.

The locker room was silent.

Coco rounded on Blake. "Explain. Now."

Blake couldn't. She just slid down the lockers until she was sitting on the floor, arms wrapped around her knees.

-Jaune's ancestors once had Faunus slaves (not the Sith family, they were retainers). Blake is very unhappy... Also possibly turned on.
Possibly a fun addition;
Jaune's ancestors also incudes a bunch of Faunus slaves, as the family tree isn't nothing but humans all the way down, and things got interesting after the Faunus slaves were freed (and in some cases even before they were free).

"... When was the last time you were in Atlas, Blake?"
The fact that there was nowhere near as much looked into Blake's past as part of the White Fang makes this snippet hit even harder.

How many fammiles got hurt while she 'was there' and did nothing? How many places were destroyed with her help even by inaction? They dropped the ball on that I feel way to hard and honestly I really liked what you did.
I am starting to feel bad for Blake man. Really reminds me of the brainwashed kids in thise terrorist organisation vids Vice used to show sometime.
That's because that was what she was in a way. Now was she brainwashed fully? That can be argued considering her Trailer had her helping Adam to attack a train full of cargo and passengers, destroying drones just to leave without doing a thing to even attempt to stop Adam.

But that is something that should have been better looked at by the creators instead of what we got even before Monty's death. Because we only had about what? A few episodes where it was actually looked into?

People are complicated. Blake knew Adam from childhood. She knew he was a good person who was angry for the right reasons. She grew up watching her parents trying to get equal rights and be beaten for it. She also grew up knowing that the greatest increase in faunus rights came from a war that they won.
Organizations don't radicalize in a day, they do it slowly as old methods don't get results and new methods do. They do it as moderates leave and new members join. And slowly the methods and beliefs go from 'we should defend ourselves during protests' to 'we should organize defenses for faunus neighborhoods' to 'we should damage property to show the racists what the cost is' before ending at 'we should kill all humans and their helpers'. Blake grew up at the White Fang went from peaceful protests to the defenses for faunus and joined as they started destroying property of people who were genuinely abusing faunus. The fact that Atlas preferred to use robots as guards likely meant she was able to get deeper than before, but also prevented her from normalizing the violence.
She was able to honestly tell herself that they weren't hurting anyone that didn't deserve it, destroying machines and rescuing people. And she could tell herself that all the stories of terrorism were made up or exaggerated. She knew Adam and trusted him. She never saw his slow slide into madness. When she was faced with Adam about to murder a bunch of people she was confused and hurt, Blake knew two things to be true, 'Killing people was wrong' and 'Adam is a hero and good person' suddenly those views were in conflict and she couldn't resolve it in an instant. So she cut off Adam from the cars containing people and left him behind.
By the point of the show she's begun to look back at Adam and the White Fang and see what she was ignoring, the warnings she missed, but that likely took a while and we see she's still working on it during the first season.

Some prompts:

-Jaune's ancestors once had Faunus slaves (not the Sith family, they were retainers). Blake is very unhappy... Also possibly turned on.

Jaune: "THEY WERE MINIONS! MINIONS! HALF MY ANCESTORS WERE EVIL OVERLORDS!"
Blake: *panting as images of her in nothing more than chains, a silky top, and a loincloth, made to serve her new master with her body for the sake of her people, vividly appear in her brain*

-Jaune the bounty hunter! Apparently he actually made some decent coin on the way to Beacon... And he got a bit of a reputation. Enough that it makes the White Fang fear him and Roman Torchwick take him seriously... Which RWBY abuses mercilessly.

Roman: "Please, you're all a bunch of hormonal teenagers with unresolved psychological issues and savior complexes! That means I'm set up to be a recurring villain for one of your inane plotlines and backstories! But to the Arc... to the Arc I'm payday! I'm a one episode wonder!"
Adam: "By the laws of narrative cause and effect, I'll die for Blake's personal plotline. There are four of you, so there'll probably be some hamfisted lesbian subtext to it with... I'll say it's the blonde one. With the Arc, it's a toss between being a one episode wonder and having my own antihero subplot."

it's a toss between being a one episode wonder and having my own antihero subplot.
Jaune: I was thinking more along the lines of a buddy cop movie. I have enough sway in Atlas to make it so, come on what do you say? We'll hunt down slaving rings, discover corrupt officials and businessmen who would sell their country to the devil or something.

Miles away Jacques Schnee sneezes and spills his coffee all over the papers of another minnig ring construction in the east with below the table donations

Adam:....... I will drive the Car.

Jaune: Of course, in the climax, when you and I would have developed an attachment to the shitbox of a car, we both would have to combine our semblances and use it to take heavy fire and then bust out of a mountain to destroy a large operation in Atlas, sacrificing it but managing to save thousands.

Adam stops and immediately throws away his mask(Weiss takes a sharp breath as she sees the SDC mark but Adam is more concerned on selecting his one liners)

Yes, we need a buddy cop movie with dust explosions, Grimm being run over in a pimped out Batman equivalent armored vehicle, Nora being knee capping happy, Ren being addicted to the teas that manage his stress levels, while the girls are in the mystery bit of Charlie's Angels-esque problem solving, leading them to Jaune and Adam as the most unlikely of buddy cop/buddy huntsmen. Adam must have a redemption kick along with some CARTHARSIS!!!

Jaune Arc, Single Father 51 New
The RWBY common room was thick with anticipation as Yang stepped inside and closed the door behind her. All eyes immediately locked onto her.

Ruby was practically vibrating on the edge of the couch. Weiss sat with perfect posture, arms crossed. Blake had abandoned her book entirely. Pyrrha stood near the window, calm on the surface but with a dangerous glint in her emerald eyes.

Yang leaned against the door and sighed.

"He's not picking anyone," she announced. "He wants to go to the dance as friends. With all of us. Says he doesn't want to cause any team drama right before the big training missions start."

A beat of silence.

Then Weiss's eye twitched. "Of course he picked the coward's option."

Ruby deflated. "But… I wanted to go with him…"

Blake closed her book with a soft snap. "So he's just… avoiding the choice."

Pyrrha's smile was serene, but her fingers tightened slightly. "Understandable. But that doesn't change the situation."

Yang pushed off the door, a dangerous grin spreading across her face. "Exactly. So here's what I'm thinking…"

The girls all leaned in, eyes gleaming with competitive fire.

Yang continued: "We compete for his attention at the dance! Whoever gets the most dances, the most smiles, the most moments wins!"

Ruby frowned.

"Yang, I'm not sure about this-"

"That just means you think you'll lose," Weiss sniffed. Ruby scowled.

"I can win better than you any day! I-I'll show you!"

Weiss flipped her hair. "I already have the perfect dress in mind. He won't know where to look first."

Blake's lips curved into a sly, feline smile. "I know how to move in the shadows. He won't even realize I'm playing until it's too late."

Pyrrha's usual gentle demeanor sharpened. "I've trained with him for months. I know exactly how to make his heart race."

Yang cracked her knuckles. "Game on, ladies."

The room quickly dissolved into whispered plotting and scheming.

From the doorway, Nora poked her head in (having clearly been eavesdropping). She beamed.

"What are we all scheming about? Can I join? Ren's being boring about the dance."

All five girls turned and shouted in unison:

"NO!"

Nora pouted and headed off.

"I never get to scheme... Phooey..."

Inside the room, the plotting continued late into the night. Each girl was secretly determined to win Jaune's heart at the Beacon Dance.

And somewhere across campus, Jaune suddenly felt a chill run down his spine.

He had no idea what was coming.

But he knew he was definitely in trouble.

2: A deeper motivation and fear for Ruby: What if by being told about how amazing a Huntress Summer was, and her absence, she worried that Summer was a Huntress and heroine first and a mother last? What if she fears that to be like Summer, she has to cut herself off from others? Her social isolation feeds into this.

This, I love this idea. It follows Ruby's theme song splendidly. And I especially like the bits of characterization that we got in the trailers. Those fights told us more about Team RWBY and the world of Remnant than the whole Maya era ever did.

And here she is borne false witness. Ruby never met Summer, not unless she was one of those rare people who are born entirely lucid. And yes, those people do exist.

Ruby doesn't know Summer personally. It is weird to say but Summer is kind of an imaginary friend for Ruby. In a way, Summer was Yang's mother more than Ruby's.

It is why I like the idea of Ruby struggling as a parent. She didn't have those interactions all through her formative years, she doesn't have her own mother's wisdom to fall back on. While she would definitely love her kids, she would face a great deal of difficulty connecting to her kids on a particular level, or talking to them from a position of parental authority without confusing or terrifying them.

Basically, unless something drastic were to happen, I can easily see Ruby as trying to act like the kid in the relationship. Basically acting around her children the way she acts around Taiyang.

"It's not fair/you're not being fair to me." I see her saying things like that a lot when she is tired.

But I am not committing myself to the immature and unready Ruby route. In fact my idea that I am proudest of on this front is hinged on Ruby having grown up and not being the woman that she had been in the Atlas arc.

Her daughter idolizes her, she thinks she's a hero, she wants to be just like her mother.

The problem of course being that Ruby knows she isn't the same woman that she once was. Her problem is that her daughter all but worships the woman that Ruby sees as being nothing more than the idiot girl who destroyed two cities and then killed herself in the Ever After.

Ruby is not that person anymore. Far from it, she's a responsible parent, she is just far from pleased with her own legend. Her daughter, who she loves, sees her first and foremost as something she stopped being a lifetime ago (as Ruby Rose the hero), and which, on review, Ruby is far from proud of, and her mother second, 'if at all' - the voice in the back of Ruby's mind whispers.

And Ruby can't think of any way to deal with that in a manner that wouldn't send up taking away something from her daughter that she knows that she loves.

As such, for her own part, Ruby's daughter would feel like she is not living up to her mother, her hero's, expectations. As such, she develops, as a way to cover up her insecurities, a number of personality traits that would make Ruby at the time of RWBY hate her, traits that even future Ruby would not give quarter to in anyone, except for her own daughter because she doesn't want to punish the girl for something that she believes is ultimately her own fault.

A daughter who she loves, who is obsessed with a version of Ruby she herself hates, and who she knows would hate her little girl that she loves categorically. And consequently, Ruby struggles to connect with her daughter, or meaningfully help her grow. That would be how I would write Parent Ruby's struggle.

Onto Dragonslayer.

I've got two ideas for the NSFW and another two that can probably go here.

First idea:

Yang pays careful attention to the number of skills that Jaune displays in his various misguided attempts to court Weiss.

And she likes what she sees.

He's a fixer-upper, but Weiss doesn't know what she's leaving up for grabs.

All she has to do is get to know him, convince him that he'd be so much hotter if he grew his hair out a bit, figure out if he is any good with kids, confirm that he is as loyal as his insistence makes him appear, and then, once she's certain that he would be able to both keep up with her energy, and desire serious commitment, make her move.

Of course, I've got a version of this where Yang points out all of Jaune's upsides aloud, and she and Weiss agree to team up on him. But I kind of want to stick to pure Dragonslayer for now

Second idea is a prequel to one of the NSFW ideas that I have been working on, and it consists of Jaune confronting Yang about her change in demeanor circa V5 or V6. After it comes out that Ruby did not in fact put him up to this, Yang goes to blow off some steam on the city nightlife (Mistral or Argus, I have not settled yet) Jaune goes with her. Or I could do Brunswick farms, make it a desperate fight for survival after some emotional confrontation.

The Mistral idea would involve a fight with a gang in the lower city, and the Argus line involves nothing getting destroyed or burnt down. One is an intense battle - though admittedly against squishier enemies - the other is just Yang and Jaune have fun at a nightclub and then show up back at Jaune's sister's place together before sun-up.

Whiter Rose: "The Ghost" New
Whiter Rose: "The Ghost"

- - -

The world had ended in fire and silence.

Whitley Schnee stood alone atop the broken spire of what had once been Beacon Academy, the wind howling through the shattered towers like the ghosts of the dead. His white hair was streaked with ash and blood, his once-immaculate coat reduced to tattered rags beneath a suit of scarred Atlas armor. The glyph on his left hand pulsed with faint, dying light.

He was the last one.

Everyone else was gone. Ruby. Yang. Blake. Weiss. Jaune. Pyrrha. Ren. Nora. Even his sisters. All consumed by the endless tide of Grimm that had poured from the shattered moon like a second Flood.

But he still had her.

He raised his hand, fingers trembling as he traced the glyph in the air. The air cracked like glass, and she stepped through.

Ruby Rose.

Not the bright-eyed girl who had once dragged him to arcades and made him laugh until his sides hurt. This was the summon - a translucent echo of silver and red, her scythe spinning in perfect, silent arcs. Her silver eyes glowed with an inner light that was no longer alive, but still fiercely protective. The hood of her cloak fluttered in the wind as if she were still breathing.

She landed beside him without a sound, scythe resting on her shoulder, head tilted in that familiar, curious way.

Whitley's voice was rough, scraped raw from years of screaming orders that no one lived to obey.

"…Ruby."

The summon's eyes brightened at the sound of her name. She reached out - a ghostly hand passing through his cheek like mist - and for a moment the old warmth flickered in those silver eyes.

He closed his own eyes and let the memory take him.

- - - -

Rain. Blood. The ruined courtyard of what had once been their home.

Ruby lay in his arms, silver eyes dimming, her chest a ruin of shattered ribs and torn flesh. She smiled anyway - that same crooked, defiant smile that had stolen his heart the first time she dragged him onto the dance floor.

"Whitley…" she whispered, blood bubbling at the corner of her lips. "Use my power… It's the only way you can save everyone…"

He shook his head violently, tears cutting tracks through the dirt on his face. "No. No, I can't- I won't-"

She reached up with a shaking hand and cupped his cheek. "You have to. Please. I'm… I'm already gone. But if you take me with you… I can still fight. I can still protect you."

He bowed his head, shoulders shaking. The sword in his hand felt heavier than the world.

"Ruby… I… I love-"

Her smile softened, eyes fluttering. "I know. I love you too. Please, Whitley… Let me stay with you."

He kissed her forehead one last time, tasting salt and iron.

Then he drove the blade through her heart.

The light in her silver eyes went out.

He stayed there for a long time, cradling her body, before the roar of approaching Grimm Griffins forced him to move. He burned her remains with a blast of Fire Dust - he would not let the creatures desecrate her. Would not let anyone turn her into a trophy.

When the first Griffin landed, he raised his hand.

A glyph flared.

And she stepped through once more - eyes glowing, scythe spinning, cloak billowing like a banner of war.

Whitley's voice was ice.

"There's one significant difference between her and me… She was the nice one. I'm not."

- - - -

The memory faded.

Whitley opened his eyes to the present. The Griffins were circling, their shrieks cutting through the storm. The summon - his Ruby - stood at his side, head tilted, waiting.

He drew his sword, the blade humming with Dust and raw Aura.

"Ready?" he asked the ghost.

She nodded once, a faint, familiar smile flickering across her translucent face.

Whitley's eyes hardened into chips of frozen sapphire.

"Then let's make them pay."

He raised his hand.

The glyph exploded outward in a storm of white and crimson light.

Ruby's summon blurred forward, scythe carving through the first Griffin in a spray of black ichor and silver fire. Whitley followed in her wake, blade flashing, glyphs flaring with every step. Together they moved like they always had - perfectly in sync, two halves of the same storm.

The Griffins fell in pieces.

And through it all, Whitley Schnee - the last Schnee, the sole survivor, the man who had killed the only person he had ever truly loved - fought with the cold, merciless precision of someone who had nothing left to lose.

Except the ghost at his side.

And the memory of a girl who had once smiled at him like he was worth more than his name and money.

As the last Griffin dissolved into smoke, Whitley lowered his sword, breathing hard. The summon drifted closer, reaching out again. This time her hand almost felt warm.

He closed his eyes.

"…Thank you," he whispered. "For staying with me."

The ghost of Ruby Rose smiled - soft, sad, and eternal - before fading back into the glyph.

Whitley Schnee stood alone on the broken spire once more.

But he was never truly alone.

Not while she still fought beside him.

Not while her silver light still burned in the dark.
