malfoy sold it to borgin, borgin payed dung to get rid of it. dung might have railroaded, but we'll see.
Sounds fishy to me, animals are always drained of blood when butchered. Also raw meat is very rare, because humans are not made for eating raw food. Out digestive system is highly dependent on cooking, both for meat and vegetables.A quote about the actress' veganism claimed that she never liked the taste of blood from raw meat
silly little loony needs to learn botany. Plants are downright Vicious... you just don't get to see most of them move.Luna would have preferred to be more like a plant and not need to eat anything living to survive, but that was not how humans worked.
did her mom get burnt in this universe? The smell of the roasted flesh did awful things to Luna's stomach.
Had an english teacher who said that was a dick-joke. That wit didn't mean quick and clever thinking at the time that line was written.
I saw that on her wikipedia article.Sounds fishy to me, animals are always drained of blood when butchered. Also raw meat is very rare, because humans are not made for eating raw food. Out digestive system is highly dependent on cooking, both for meat and vegetables.
On veganism:
"I went vegetarian really young.
I was always grossed out by the idea of meat.
My mum told me that when I was a kid I wouldn't let her walk down the meat aisle because I hated the blood, and that was before I even consciously knew what it was.
When I was 11 or 12 I started really thinking about what I was eating and where it came from, and it just kind of disgusted me that this was someone's flesh-- that this was their body, so I stopped.
"But I wasn't a very good vegetarian—I was a junk food vegetarian! I didn't like vegetables, I wouldn't eat salad. It was mostly pasta, pizza, Weetabix, sometimes a bit of fruit, so whenever veganism came up I thought 'I couldn't do it—I would die'.
But I started to talk about animal rights and welfare, and people started asking 'Why are you not vegan?' and I didn't really have an answer except that it's hard. But I felt like I should read about it, and I read a book called Eating Animals [by Jonathan Safran] and I was so upset by it.
"And I thought, 'This is how I feel just by reading about it, just imagine that this is going on all the time'. Many millions of creatures are living this hell every day, and I thought 'I don't want any part of this'.
Then I knew I was vegan in my values and sensibilities and from then it was just about going vegan, which wasn't easy.
It took a while. I definitely had a few relapses of going back to vegetarianism, but I never went back to eating meat.
explains how unhealthy she looks. Here's the interview article it's pulling from. https://web.archive.org/web/2019110...ower-podcasts-veganism-wizarding-world-173340
You know, if you asked I'm sure there are plenty of people who'd let you borrow their sorting hat song, there might even be people in this thread who would have offered a brand new new one for you, but even if not going to a thread like https://www.reddit.com/r/HPfanfiction/comments/13jx803/sorting_hat_songs/and asking would have gotten you permission to use a bunch of them. To be clear, I don't think there's anything intrinsically wrong in using an AI to help with your story, especially not fanfiction. However if you have an issue with it there are options. One more thing. For total transparency the Sorting Hat song was devised with heavy AI assistance. I am not happy I had to go down to that level, but I did not want to take 6 months trying to craft a song or just brush over it entirely.
While AFAIK virtually no vegetarians actually can taste the blood, many do imagine they can.Sounds fishy to me, animals are always drained of blood when butchered.
Sounds fishy to me. The word did have the meaning of the five physical senses in addition to the internal senses (thinking, perception, etc) but I've never heard, and can't now find a reference to anything that would make it a dick-joke.Had an english teacher who said that was a dick-joke. That wit didn't mean quick and clever thinking at the time that line was written.
According to her Wikipage that's when she developed an eating disorder and had to be hospitalized for Anorexia, which to be honest I feel makes more sense than an 11 y/o kid becoming vegetarian because of the smell of blood (copying older family members on the other hand is possible, and I don't know if anyone else in her family is Vegetarian).I saw that on her wikipedia article.
In a 2019 interview, Lynch said she "hated the blood [from raw meat]" as a child and, at age 11, she became a vegetarian.

Oh, a pun makes sense. I was looking for actual meaning...that was stupid of me.Slang and sexual language in Shakespeare | Royal Shakespeare Company
Early editions of Shakespeare's plays sometimes ignored or censored slang and sexual language, but the First Folio is full of innuendo and rudeness.www.rsc.org.uk
That's what I get for not reading the whole page. I had just looked up "when did Evanna Lynch become vegan" and it gave me that section. So when someone questioned me about it; I just went into it, found that section, and pulled the actual interview linked in the citations for the sources.According to her Wikipage that's when she developed an eating disorder and had to be hospitalized for Anorexia, which to be honest I feel makes more sense than an 11 y/o kid becoming vegetarian because of the smell of blood (copying older family members on the other hand is possible, and I don't know if anyone else in her family is Vegetarian).
While some plants are probably Viscous too, i think you meant Vicious in this case. but considering this is a Youjo Senki crossover, you probably should have meant Visha-ous!silly little loony needs to learn botany. Plants are downright Viscous... you just don't get to see most of them move.
she is right about salt though. Curious stuff salt. generally made from horrible poisonous and acidic chemicals, and yet, it makes food taste so much better.
in small enough doses.
jokes and wordplay aside, thx for catching that. While some plants are probably Viscous too, i think you meant Vicious in this case. but considering this is a Youjo Senki crossover, you probably should have meant Visha-ous!

But her not eating meat does explain her not being all there in the head. Meat free diets are sketchy at the best of times and a developing brain can be sensitive to malnutrition
Try Pittsburg rare. As raw in the middle as possible and as burnt on the outside. A lovely char with a nice red center.I would recommend rare or blue steak (slightly cooked but only brown on the sides, still red or pink on the inside) it's lovely.
That brings in a few other questions as well as the effort of finding one that worked. The bar for the song would have to be higher and the song, frankly, does not matter enough for the effort of trying to get permission from someone else. I am making peace with myself that I did that through the simple logic of, 'I used a tool to help with a very small section. 96% of the chapter is all me. I can accept less than 4% of AI tooling.'You know, if you asked I'm sure there are plenty of people who'd let you borrow their sorting hat song
On the topic of Luna the Vegetarian, since so many people are focused in on it, I likely will be making it a regular point. A C or D plot sort of thing. Not important to the major happenings, but getting touched on now and then. Like Tanya helping Ron with becoming Quidditch Captain, Head Boy, and all the other things he saw in the mirror. It can be done if you know what your doing though. And I would assume that she or her father would have researched it as much as she could, which might not be enough given the time period but still.
It's a difference from what we know in the character, and it did get a decent amount of focus here. Is it really that strange that we made a discussion out of it? Veganism and to a lesser degree vegetarianism is still a slightly controversial thing as well, even if only because there's quite a few who are very vocal about it, and tend to be abrasive. Plus the whole activism thing surrounding it since there's the whole ethical/moral imperative they put into the belief to not eat animals. There's also the issue of it often coming with malnutrition, because it's a lot harder to get some of the required nutrients through plants both because of the availability of them, and the bioavailability of them. And malnutrition tends to be a concern for people, especially when directed towards children. Etc, etc, etc.On the topic of Luna the Vegetarian, since so many people are focused in on it, I likely will be making it a regular point. A C or D plot sort of thing. It can be done today without too much hardship, but if you exclude the modern vegetarian synthetic foods you need to go to various specialty imports and end up paying several times as much for a healthy vegetarian diet as you would for a healthy balanced diet.It can be done if you know what your doing though. And I would assume that she or her father would have researched it as much as she could, which might not be enough given the time period but still.
Luna is too young to have been able to do much research on this, and even if she had would have needed an adult to get the stuff for her, and I can't imagine her father functioning like that. And I would assume that she or her father would have researched it as much as she could
Sure, I agree the song didn't matter and even if it did I wouldn't have thought using an AI for it was an issue, just thought I'd point out options since you seemed to think it was a big deal. I can accept less than 4% of AI tooling.'
Good. Looking forward to see how you develop it.On the topic of Luna the Vegetarian, since so many people are focused in on it, I likely will be making it a regular point. Don't worry yourself over it. Only fools believe that avoiding AI is a winning strategy. Might as well try to hold back the tide. The song has bad meter though.
if you dont know his personality...
I never got that impression. Wallflower due to bullying, but not uninterestedI mean, not only is it Ron, but I'd also always had her pegged as Aro/Ace - until I got introduced to the idea that she gets together with the youngest Scamander post-Hogwarts. Then I'd thought of her as on the autism spectrum and therefore late to develop interest in romance and sexuality.
