Tribal Quest, the Nyan-ening

the Apemen seem to have a higher tech level then us at this point.

If we want to stay at the apex predator we're going to need to get in the habit of learning to do new things. Otherwise the apes will be the ones who get to be on top of the world while we are stuck in this jungle.

Considering our record, I doubt we can diplomance them. So,
[x] Capture and murder is it

Bandwagon vote, basically.

Hey Vin, will we ever vote on the appearance of the Nyan Tribe?

Or is just left up to all of us to use our imagination?

Hmm loks like a murder party.

Could have added a +10 cause of retreating to leaf road >:3

Murderkitties are GO!

and yus this was winner vote.

[X] Would you look at that? Breakfast came to you.
-[X] It's time for round two of Hunting the Monkeys.
- - [X] scatter into the leaf highway. Hit and run never staying where you can be seen... Patience and power are yours, use the shadows and cut them down... They must know fear.
- - - [X] keep any young ones you cripple. Apeman is now your favorite form of edutainment.

[X] Breakfast time!

The Apes are not prepared for the cat's sudden strike. First blood is when one of the ones on the outskirts is dragged into the bushes, hand clasped over it's mouth and stifling it's scream as powerful jaws rip spine from neck.

The corpse is dragged off and stashed in one of the nests, even as it's former companions notice their fellow ape is suddenly gone. A few of them beat their way into the undergrowth, and others climb up into the trees to look for the missing one. They are dispatched, one by one falling silent as the handful of apes clustered by the bonepit grow more and more disturbed.

Soon, the jungle is silent except for the muffled sobs of a single young ape. The others cluster around the adolescent protectively, clutching sturdy branches so hard that veins pop upon their hands.

This is when the cats make their appearance, stalking languidly out of the trees without a care in the world. The lead catgirl holds the severed head of the first ape. After a few moments of mutual, silent staring, she lifts it to her mouth and takes a large bite out of it, fangs rending through bone and sinew easily and revealing tender brains beneath. She chews messily for a moment as the Apes quake in fear, then throws the shattered remnants of the skull to roll softly to their feet.

After a moment, the half-dozen apes drop the branches they clutch and prostrate themselves on the ground. They are at the cat's mercy, and they know it.

[] What do?

Your dices love Murder Time apparently.

I want to enslave them but I just don't know how to word it in way that fit. Help guys ?

Hmm, first 'play' with them to test their physical fitness, then hora them to test their virility (and endurance)...what else?

[X] Adopt the Apes. Slaughter any who resist. From now on they share everything with us, and worship and groom us, and act as our front line against threats. In return we slaughter things that hunt them. Mutual benefit. As is befitting... Cat's rule.
- [X] Start the process by typical fashion of cat affection.
- - [X] Cement this going out and hunting down something big and juicy to share with our new... servant's... umm... friends. Usual hunting tactics apply. Drop it at their feet.
- - - -[X] Set our new thralls to make our lives easier... have them go collect interesting things and bring them back to the encampment... While keeping a close eye on them to make sure none of them get any crazy ideas like running.

Yeah, let's go with that.

[X] Xicree

Hopefully, this means we won't have as much trouble developing tools. That's the one downfall of super killy species.

Can we please not become filthy slavers?

[x] Have them go away and not come back.

Why would we just let them go rather than eat them?

Frankly I'd rather eat them than enslave them. Frankly we should have attempted diplomacy, since this was a different group of apemen.

[X] Eat them.

agreed. I'd rather not have slaves who are more technologically inclined then us. Thats just ASKING for trouble.

Slavers? Why, we aren't Slavers. We're cats, all other beings belong under us anyhow. :p

The plan Xicree came up with is close enough to slavery for my book.
