It's Microsoft exclusive for now so Xbox and Microsoft store only. Hopefully that exclusivity won't last long...I'm hoping my laptop can play it. At least until it gets on the switch.

'Looks at the shit that Zack did in the Wutai fort'The only stealth they did was killed everyone on the enemy side so they couldn't see them anymore.
Don't forget he was in soldier.

I will say, even in the Demo how the other Avalache crew really sees Cloud as badass and unstoppable for their plans, save for guns, is super cool and mega refreshing.
Cloud's reason for joining Avalanche in a terrorist attack is that he's a merc?
Ah, the Tenno way.Don't forget he was in soldier.

Speaking of this, I just got it for PC.
Oh, it's even better in the original. In the original FF7, Cloud is the one who narrate the tutorials. There's a house with a bunch of dudes, classic Tutorial House, you know ? But instead of vomiting exposition at you, the inhabitant plead with Cloud to share his wisdom with them instead. The tutorial on how to equip and use Materia is Cloud teaching Barett. His dynamic with the other members is interesting too, because in most games you start out as 'the new kid' or the rookie, which... sorta fits here. He's new to the team to the point where some of them don't even know his name, but he's also the muscle. You're not the trainee who's getting handheld for the first couple of levels before you get your feet under you and their your seniors die or whatever, you're the guy they brought in to do combat. From the start of the game you are stronger than the npcs on your team, which is actually quite rare in most games.
All the female characters' outfits are lewd in some way. They're either sinfully tight, have tiny miniskirts, perfectly frame their breasts and/or legs, show off their cleavage, show off their midriff, or some combination thereof. And I think the artist had a leg fetish, because all the dames are leggy and showing them off.Speaking of this, I just got it for PC.
I'm a bit past the prologue, and so far, it's been interesting, plot-wise.
Gameplay and graphics are functional, nothing to write home about, but it works well with no noticeable slowdowns on my 13yearold potato of a PC, so just about anyone should be able to run it.
Downside, it's a horrendously lazy console port. If you don't have a controller, don't even bother. And you probably want to look for Cheatengine or something to fix the atrocious walking speed, tho I'm not sure if that one is due to shitty porting or it's the one thing that is working wrong for my potato PC.
The oddest bit so far is that holy shit, the outfits are lewd. I was not expecting that for a Digimon game of all things (outside the female Digimon, that is). Like.. These are the first two female characters introduced:
Dialogue doesn't shy from things either... and then you have Rie. Most porn has less blatant dialogue than hers. All the female characters' outfits are lewd in some way. Oh god, could you imagine the duel between Cloud and Sephiroth? Hours of preparing backjump speed, and the actual duel depends on how many parallel universes have been fixed. It's not a remake of the original game that's for sure if they're going to throw away canon and chalk it up to alternate universes.
But at least it doesn't operate in the number of parallel universes Mario does.

Exactly, but twice as both race to slant as many universes in their favor as possible.
It'll probably end in disappointment, just like almost every reboot of the last decade. So apparently there a rumors floating around about a possible reboot of the Silent Hill games. If it turns out to be true, I wonder if they will redo the first game or go in a completely different direction.

FFXV is fun if you get SPA easily. Is FFXV worth trying? Specifically on the PC.
I've been in a funk game-wise lately, and the last Final Fantasy game I've actually played was 8. I've got no plans to get the 7 remake anytime soon, and I'm not really enjoying DOOM Eternal yet.
Sorry, what's SPA?FFXV is fun if you get SPA easily.
I called it "Road Trip: The RPG" because if you let your SPA get the better of you that's what it is.
Hm. Now I want an actual road trip RPG. Just a couple of kids on a trip across sci-fantasy land fighting random monsters, dealing with gimmicky tourist-trap dungeons, making bad jokes, and generally having a fun time. No real antagonist, they save the world in the final chapter but it's got no real lead-up and they only stumbled across the cultists/ancient demon/whatever by complete accident because they were doing something stupid.
The PSA about SPA.
That actually sounds like it might be fun to play.FFXV is fun if you get SPA easily.

The story of the base game is very good while the combat is extremely simple and can get repetitive. You won't find anything like complex combos using weapon switching, but it's not a bad combat system once you unlock Airstep. You eventually unlock the ability to control the other party members using their respective DLC's gameplay, which can be very fun and/or game-breaking. Speaking of the DLCs, don't bother with them unless you really like the game.Is FFXV worth trying? Specifically on the PC.
