Dang. Managed to miss this by a whole day and change.

Yeah, Slippery Slope appears to have Vote 79 locked down tight for its first win. Both Model A and Model B are agreeing that it'll win with 1,000+ votes, more than 80 ahead of runner-up.

Votes 80 and 81 look to be a bit more shaky. Hostage Crisis is projected to win Vote 80, but only by a 20-some margin. Would only take a few people dropping it from or moving it down their voting lists to change the outcome. Next up is likely to be Alea Iacta Est, at around 1,150 votes, 40-ish ahead of its rivals. Not quite as close, but it's three rounds out, so change is still possible.

Votes 82 and 83 are far less contentious. 81 goes to fan-favorite Trump Card, winning at 1200+ in both models, a 100-vote margin. 82, on the other hand, should be the next win for relative newbie War Games, which has surged in popularity since its last update -- going from earning 40-50 votes a round to earning 60-70, and peaking at 85. This one's a rising star, folks, and this time it'll win by anywhere from 80-110 votes.

Vote 84 is a little shaky. Security! is projected to win, but only by 20-some votes. That far out and that close a margin, things could change substantially. Vote 85 isn't nearly as close, with I, Panacea winning handily.

Vote 86, however, marks the first point of divergence between my two predictive models. Model A, the older one, shows Recoil winning with a 75-vote margin. The newer model, which is so far proving to be more accurate, shows MirrorVerse winning, but only by a 10-vote margin. It will be particularly interesting to see how close these two get by the time that round arrives.

Depending on who wins Vote 86, Votes 87 and 88 both diverge between the two models. According to Model A, when Recoil wins 86, Wyvern wins Vote 87 and MirrorVerse Vote 88. But going by Model B, if MirrorVerse takes the win, Recoil settles for 87 and Wyvern gets pushed back to 88.

Which of these turns out to be accurate, we'll see as those rounds draw near.

As always, this is measuring from Vote 88 onwards.


Accuracy again diverged for each model.

Model A, the original one, was approximately 97.12% accurate overall. Most accurate was Alea Iacta Est, which came in exactly as predicted. Least accurate was Wyvern, which came in 35 votes short of predictions at a measly 74.26%. Average vote discrepancy was 9.

Model B, the new one, was about 98.17% accurate overall. Most accurate was Really Bad End, only 1 vote off at 99.92%. Least accurate was also Wyvern, but in this case it was only off by 20 votes, 83.54% of expected. Average vote discrepancy was only 6.

Second round in a row, and Model B is looking more accurate. But I'll continue holding off on picking between them until we get some more results in.
