You know, I know some of your NSFW stuff still has a semi-decent storyline backing it up (once you sort through the trash to find the bits of decent writing), and I've seen how many votes NSW keeps getting in here, so I tried to give it a read.

I made it as far as the introduction of Taylor's first partner.

I was seriously starting to have flashbacks to My Immortal.

How can people vote for that stuff?

I like your NSFW work because it's well written and I want to see my favourite worm characters getting it on as much as the next guy, but NSW characters are not those characters I knew anymore. It's not even crazy enough for it to be a crackfic.
I'd probably enjoy it more if it weren't based on a book I already am familiar with.

While I don't vote for it myself, as there is no shortage of porn on the Internet, unlike free, awesome literature, allow me to defend those who might.

1. It gets better. Then worse. Then better, etc. That fic happens to be quite the rollercoaster to read, both in terms of narrative and fetish.

2. It's smut. If something turns you off, you probably won't miss anything important if you just skim until the Author stops mentioning genitals.

3. It's smut. The plot and character building usually only serve to facilitate intercourse. Appreciate the good stuff and let the sexy bits block out the rest. That's what I do, anyway.

4. It's free. There is nothing lost but your time, which you evidently had enough of to read porn.

And with all that being said, I bid you farewell. It's time to read some porn.
