Well, Recoil came roaring up out of nowhere, coming within two points of pipping Danny and Taylor at the post. But it didn't, so the sequence will probably be Recoil, Slippery Slope, Meet the Heberts, then maybe Confrontation II.
Yeah, that was pretty impressive. Recoil seriously poured on the speed last round: a whopping
209 votes earned in a single cycle, shattering the previous record of 194 -- which was also Recoil, incidentally. That one story has, at this point, the most total votes accrued since the beginning of the voting system: 10,782, more than a thousand beyond the next highest story.
As for the upcoming stories, well...
Recoil and
Slippery Slope are almost certainly going to win Votes 95 and 96, by about 70 votes and 80 votes respectively. Not much can change that at this point.
Meet the Heberts, however, is only holding onto Vote 97 by its fingernails:
Security! is projected to only be a single vote behind it, and could potentially overtake it if voting shifts. Failing that, it will secure Vote 98 by a margin in the 30s.
Votes 99, 100 and 101 are also pretty locked-down by this point: 99 goes to
I, Panacea by 100+ votes, 100 to
Confrontation II with a margin in the 70s, and 101 to
Wyvern by a whopping 300 votes.
After that, things get a little less concrete.
Alea Iacta Est is projected to win Vote 102 by 54 votes, but this far out that could easily change. Same could be said of
Trump Card winning Vote 103 with a margin in the upper 40s, or
One More Trigger winning Vote 104 by 50+. Still, those are some of the most popular stories, so they're probably not going to get overtaken easily.
After Round 104, stories close to winning will be
Junior Hero, Recoil again and
War Games with 1,400+,
Hostage Situation with 1,300+,
Nemesis with about 1,200 and
Bait & Switch just over 1,000.
Accuracy in Vote 94 was 96.33% overall, with an average difference of 17 votes. Most accurate proportionally was
Slippery Slope at 99.84%, while most accurate in raw vote count was a split between that and
Meet the Heberts -- both stories were only 2 votes off prediction. Least accurate proportionally was
Really Bad End, which came in at only 82.35% of expected votes, while least accurate in raw count was, of course,
Recoil, 55 votes ahead of predictions.
And then there's my vote:
[X] Meet the Heberts - 6
[X] NSW - 5
[X] Security! - 4
[X] War Games - 3
[X] One More Trigger - 2
[X] Recoil - 1
